Despite numerous efforts, ocular drug delivery still remains a challenge for pharmaceutical scientists. Most of the ocular diseases are treated by topical drug applications. But this suffers from poor bioavailability and other drawbacks. Budding interest in nanopharmaceuticals has generated a number of advancements throughout recent years with a focus on engineering novel applications. Nanotechnology also offers the ability to detect diseases at much earlier stages. Recent developments in ocular drug delivery system research have provided new insights into drug development. This review summarizes recent findings and applications of various nanoparticulate systems like nanospheres, nanosuspensions, microemulsions, liposome, etc in ocular drug delivery.

Ayurveda considers Tridosha are one of the pillars of the body. Among these three doshas, Vata has immense significance. It plays key role behind maintenance of body in normal and healthy state. Concept of Avarana is one of the fundamental and unique concept which helps in explaining samprapti of a disease. The Avarana on vata Dosha by Rakta dhatu is known as Raktavrita vata. The clinical features show karma hani of vata and karmavrudhi of rakta. After review of literature regarding Avrita Vata, it is found that the clinical features of Cellulitis are remarkably similar to Raktavrita Vata. Hence, both the diseases can be correlated. An observational and analytical study was carried out on 30 diagnosed Patients of Cellulitis. Patients were selected by purposive method irrespective of gender, caste and socio-economic status. The theoretical concept of Avarana particularly Raktavrita Vata was studied clinically by studying patients of Cellulitis. Clinically five out of eight symptoms of cellulitis were found in about 62.66% of patients registered in the study and Rakta dushti hetus are predominantly observed than Vata prakopa hetus.

Disease ailments are changing the patterns, and the new diseases are emerging due to changing environments. The enormous growth of world population has overburdened the existing resources for the drugs. And hence, the drug manufacturers are always on the lookout for new resources to develop effective and safe drugs for the increasing demands of the world population. Marine pharmacology offers the scope for research on these drugs of marine origin. Few institutes in India offer such opportunities which can help us in the quest for new drugs. This is an extensive review of the drugs developed and the potential new drug candidates from marine origin along with the opportunities for research on marine derived products. It also gives the information about the institutes in India which offer marine pharmacology related courses.

Augmented Reality (AR) has risen to prominence by using this real-time direct view of a physical real-world environment. The user's perception of and interaction with the real environment is improved through augmented reality. Technology in education can influence students to learn actively and can motivate them, leading to an effective process of learning. Previous research has identified the problem that technology will create a passive learning process if the technology used does not promote critical thinking, meaning-making or metacognition. Since its introduction, AR has been shown to have good potential in making the learning process more active, effective and meaningful. This is because its advanced technology enables users to interact with virtual and real-time applications and brings the natural experiences to the user. Augmented Reality is quickly finding its place in a range of applications in the consumer, commercial, and industrial worlds. AR uses displays, cameras, various types of sensors, and software to augment artificial perceptual experience to the user's exact representation. It was critical to take a fresh approach in this pandemic-affected society. Businesses were harmed, economies were shattered, and people were forced to barricade themselves inside their homes. Technological transformation was inevitable in this unprecedented situation. Schools and universities were forced to shut down, and businesses incurred substantial losses. With the help of Augmented Reality, it was possible to show consumers a perceptual experience. Through the use of AR, the precise physical product might be realistically assessed. Customers greatly benefited from the AR since they were able to view the actual product in hand despite the fact that the actual manufacturing plant was located far away as it takes acres of land to put up the plants in the vicinity of the city. While AR is not a new concept, advancements in areas, such as computer vision, sensing technologies, data storage, displays, and software technologies, have now made AR a much more practical solution for consumer, commercial, and industrial adoption.
