 Abstract

Interpersonal conflict can significantly reduce employee well-being, job satisfaction, and productivity at work (Spector & jex, 1998). Conflict management is essential for preserving a positive work atmosphere and ensuring the effective delivery of IT services in the fast-paced, high-pressure industry of Information Technology (IT). In order to reduce interpersonal conflict among IT professionals, this study outlines a quick approach to apply Psychological Capital (PsyCap) Interventions within 5 weeks. Objective: In order to minimize interpersonal conflict and psycap within the IT department, the main goal of this study was to develop an expedited program that strengthens the psychological resources of IT staff, such as hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism. To fulfill the objective Interpersonal Conflict at Work Scale by Spector & Jex, 1998, and the Psychological Capital Questionnaire by Luthans, Youssef, & Avolio, 2007 were used. Design: Within the 5 weeks, surveys conducted before and after the intervention assessed changes in PsyCap levels and initial perceptions of interpersonal conflict among IT employees. The study's findings indicated that PCI served as a shield for IT employees and helped to reduce interpersonal conflict. The PCI program can help the organization by fostering a more upbeat, successful, and collaborative work environment.

 Abstract

Abstract: Human beings are understood to be the most intelligent being on earth. They have varying levels of mental capacity. And amongst the varying levels of capacity, IQ (Intelligence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Social Quotient) are most heard about capacities of human beings. These capacities are tested time and again in terms of intelligence quotient tests, emotional quotient tests, social quotient tests, personality tests, achievement tests, aptitude tests and so on. But there is another very important Capacity or Quotient to be considered and tested that is 'Adversity Quotient' of the students. We focus and put a lot of effort for uplifting Intelligence Quotient and Emotional Quotient of an individual. But now it has become crucial to develop Adversity Quotient among the new generations who are vulnerable to adversities of life but fail to face them. There is necessity to focus on Adversity Quotient of students and train and teach them to respond and handle the adversities coming their way. The present paper is knowing more about Adversity Quotient and the ways to develop them and rise above all challenges and overcome adversities of life.

 Abstract

The advent of the new century navigated people to choose lifestyles that revolve around the connection between diet, health and the environment. Consumers embarked on shopping for products with clean labels and transparency. This gradually turned into an active pursuit of organic products in the second decade. Organic food sales in the United States in 2022 broke through $60 billion, raising the curiosity for studying their future in a climate-active world. This paper mainly concentrates on local consumers' behaviour towards organic products in a city with diverse options available for consumption. The objective of the conducted analysis is to forecast the pivotal consumer base in terms of socioeconomic factors and their intent behind the consumption of organic products. This study can further be used to synthesize the probable areas of organic products that can be used in future research.

 Abstract

The relationship between childhood trauma, self-regulation, and emotional expressivity is complex and can vary from individual to individual. Traumatic experiences can impair the development of neural circuits involved in emotional regulation, leading to difficulties in managing emotions and exhibiting appropriate expression. Individuals may struggle with intense emotions, poor stress management, and impulsive behaviours. This study aims to explore the association between childhood trauma, self- regulation, and emotional expressivity. It utilized a quantitative research design to collect data from two groups: males and females, from the youth population which involve 110 participants aged between 18 to 30 years. The participants were asked to complete the CTQ, SSRQ, and EES questionnaires in a self-administered online survey. After the responses were collected the total score for each individual was calculated. Then a comparative study is made to see the difference between both the groups and observe who is more affected, males or females.

 Abstract

Though the concept has been taken from R.M.Ballantyne’s one of the first works of juvenile fiction, the story is distinguishable and identical to mythological origin of human beings in the world. With the gradual marching of the action in the novel, it unfolds by degrees the genesis, emergence, judgement and capitulation to the omnipotent God. The belief of genesis is identical to the aeroplane crash, emergence of human beings becomes similar with the survivors who come across each other due to the crash on or near an isolated island in a remote region of the Pacific Ocean. Before genesis or creation, according to mythology, there must be a destruction or chaos and this becomes identical to the aeroplane crash. Further, finding a conch, which implies system and governance, can be linked up with the origination of governed society which was prevailing from the primitive age during the epoch of primitive aboriginal beings. Finally, the appearance of naval officer, whose party has landed to investigate the fire, is synonymous, to some extent, to the capitulation and surrender to God to be guided. His appearance is also identical to Deus ex machina , a device which was prevalent around since the time of Greek theatre. From another perspective the naval officer presents foucauldian disciplinary power which does not rely solely on force, instead it controls the subjects through hierarchical surveillance, normalising judgement and examination.

 Abstract

This article tries to introduce the issues and challenges of the 21st century in India. Things are changing around us very dramatically, very quickly. The world is becoming more interconnected, the environment is becoming less stable, and technology is continuously altering our relationship to information. Changing global conditions demand that we rethink what, but even more important, how and where we learn. We need education for the 21st century. In response to the challenges, we face in the digital age, schools are starting to do education differently. Why restrict lesson times to an hour when half-day sessions allow pupils to delve really deeply into subject material? Many young people have smart phones, so why not allow them to be used as learning aids? Adults learn in the real world, why not let pupils? And, fundamentally, the best teachers are people who love learning, and the best way to make sure that you understand what you are learning is to teach. The schools that are taking this seriously are still in the minority. But across the world there is a growing global movement towards achieving the vision of 21st century education
