 Abstract

Pollution of the environment is currently a global concern. Toxic emission from internal combustion engines is one of the primary air pollutants. In order to mitigate the effects of fossil fuel emission and address environmental concerns (ECs), electric vehicles (EVs) are being promoted aggressively all over the world. Electric vehicles (EVs) are growing in popularity and certainly in mind space. They are cleaner and more efficient, and even fun. Their growth, however, is still considered just a market problem: The end user should choose on the basis of what it costs to buy and run, or how it performs, etc. Markets matter, but there is also a need for government and policy inputs. EVs, after all, operate within broader energy and transportation ecosystems with their own distortions. This paper examines the scope and opportunities of Electric Vehicles in India, various policies and frameworks in place by the Government of India.

 Abstract

Prion is a cell surface protein expressed in a wide range of organs and tissues. This protein is mostly infamous for misfolding the similar proteins and causing prion diseases. Prion diseases are seen in humans as well as animals. These diseases are said to be fatal neurodegenerative diseases. Prions are made up of protein PrP which are also found in healthy humans and animals. In this review we will be understanding the concept of prion, its structure and the diseases caused due to it.

 Abstract

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, many influences, including media, politics, and literary texts, contributed to molding discourse. As a result, topics like religion, particularly Islam, and Muslims as terrorists have become serious threats to those in power and the general public. Several authors attempt to portray the event's impact on the country and its people. However, whatever is the objective, every subject is a result or rather a synthesis of several criteria that stimulate its various points and blend them into one channel. This paper does not indeed diverge away from the aforementioned framework. By selecting the post 9/11 novel, Amy Waldman's The Submission (2011), a novel published on the tenth anniversary of the attacks, this study examines how Muslim characters were portrayed. The novel introduces many Muslim characters such as Mohammad Khan, Asma Anwar, Laila Fathi, Zahira, and Ansar. The main focus will be analyzing the fabricated views, the distorted image, and overgeneralization that frequently characterize American representations of Muslims. This article attempts to answer the following question: Has there been a change in the portrayal of Muslims in American novels after ten years since 9/11?

 Abstract

Urticaria is a disease, which is characterized with development of angioedema or wheals or both. It has three types, chronic spontaneous urticaria, acute spontaneous urticaria and chronic inducible urticaria. In most of the cases of urticaria, oedema spread on upper surface area of skin which is causes due to increase in capillary permeability. Whereas certain body cites like as lips and hands, the oedema spread deeper. It is associated with angioedema of lips, face, throat and rarely wheezing, abdominal pain. In cases of severe angioedema it can be life-threatening because it will cause respiratory obstruction, it is rare condition. This disease commonly affect young adult rather than old age group, female are more affected then male. Approximately 15 to 20% of population will suffer from urticaria, once during their life time. In alternative medicine, we use some medication like as Fexofenadine, cetrizine and levocetrizine are the first line of treatment; this treatment of urticaria is symptomatically which is non curative method. This alternative medicine method not eliminates the recurrence tendency of urticaria. Whereas, In homoeopathy we treat a patient on the basis of individualization this method reduce the chances of recurrence significantly. Homoeopathic literature acknowledges many medicines for the Urticarial condition, of which a similimum can help a patient for keeping the disease at bay for a longer period. Homoeopathic remedies can offer gentle and safe relief.
