This paper is an attempt to find out the relationship of teacher effectiveness with job satisfaction among secondary school women teachers in the state of Karnataka. Kulsum Teacher Effectiveness Scale (KTES) by Kulsum (2000) and Job Satisfaction Scale by Singh & Sharma (1999) were administered on a sample of 400 women teachers randomly selected from Raichur, Yadgir, Kalaburagi and Bidar districts of Karnataka. The study revealed a significant difference in teacher effectiveness among women teachers with high, average and low level of job satisfaction. Women teachers with high level of job satisfaction are higher in teacher effectiveness than teachers with average or low level of job satisfaction. Teacher effectiveness and job satisfaction are positively and significantly related. There exists a positive significant relationship between teacher effectiveness and job satisfaction among women teachers working in urban areas and government schools but a positive insignificant relationship between teacher effectiveness and job satisfaction among women teachers working in rural areas and private schools.

Background: Micturition disorder is one of the most common problems in urology. Due to the variability of the causes, the diagnosis might be difficult. Urodynamics examination remains the gold standard for examining the pathophysiology of dysfunction in the urinary tract, such as urinary incontinence (UI) or lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). This procedure allows to describe the pathology in filling phase and the voiding phase. Objective: To describe urodynamics profile of male patients with urinary symptoms in Soetomo General Hospital in the year 2017-2019 Methods: This research was a retrospective descriptive study. The data was collected from electronical medical records from all male patients with urinary symptoms that undergo urodynamic evaluation at Soetomo General Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019. The data is presented descriptively in table and narrative form. Results: There was a total of 80 patients included in this study. The majority of the patient was classified as elderly patients (>60 y.o.), with a total of 26 patients (32%). The most commonly reported symptom was urine retention in 23 patients (26.74%). Most of the patients had a Q-max result <10 mL/second (76.25%), PVR <150 mL (62.5%), and a post-urodynamic diagnosis of detrusor underactivity (DU). Half of the patients have a comorbid disease, with spinal dysfunction being the most commonly reported comorbidity in the patients (12.5%). All the patients undergo treatment for their symptoms. 75% of the patients were taking pharmacological treatments, while 25% of them underwent surgical procedures. Conclusion: Patients with urinary symptoms that underwent urodynamic evaluation most commonly reported a symptom of urinary retention. The urodynamic evaluation revealed that DU is the most commonly reported post-urodynamic diagnosis. Furthermore, urodynamic studies may differentiate patient needs for pharmacological treatment and undergone surgical procedures.

In the field of assisted cancer diagnosis, it is expected that the involvement of machine learning in diseases will give doctors a second opinion and help them to make a faster / better determination. There are a huge number of studies in this area using traditional machine learning methods and in other cases, using deep learning for this purpose. This article aims to evaluate the predictive models of machine learning classification regarding the accuracy, objectivity, and reproducible of the diagnosis of malignant neoplasm with fine needle aspiration. Also, we seek to add one more class for testing in this database as recommended in previous studies. We present six different classification methods: Multilayer Perceptron, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine and Deep Neural Network for evaluation. For this work, we used at University of Wisconsin Hospital database which is composed of thirty values which characterize the properties of the nucleus of the breast mass. As we showed in result sections, DNN classifier has a great performance in accuracy level (92%), indicating better results in relation to traditional models. Random forest 50 and 100 presented the best results for the ROC curve metric, considered an excellent prediction when compared to other previous studies published.
