 Abstract

Puerperal sepsis is a big problem, due to its prevalence and morbidity all over the world. Each and every year many women die due to puerperal sepsis. Puerperal Sepsis is an infection of genital tract, which occurs at any time from just after rupture of membranes or time of labor and up to 42nd days from parturition. However the present study has conducted to identify the prevalence of puerperal sepsis, to find out different factors related to puerperal sepsis and to explore the management of puerperal sepsis. The study was documentary analysis type. Information and data were collected from secondary sources. Information and data were collected from books, research reports, journals, different annual reports, different government and non government websites and different websites. From the study it was found that the prevalence of puerperal sepsis varies from place to place, region to region, country to country and continent to continent. The study revealed that the risks factors of puerperal sepsis are general anesthesia, obstructive lung disease multiple catheterization during labor, multiple vaginal examinations during labor, and untreated bacteriuria, emergency cesarean section, prolonged membrane rupture, prolonged labor, and multiple vaginal examinations during labor, diffuse difficult vaginal childbirth and nipple trauma from breastfeeding etc. The management of puerperal sepsis varies from country to country. In developed country the puerperal sepsis is managed properly, effectively and efficiently. But in least developed country, developing country puerperal sepsis is managed less effectively and efficiently than developed country. Print and electronic media can play a very significant role in creating awareness among people specially pregnant women about puerperal sepsis and about techniques and methods to prevent puerperal sepsis.

 Abstract

Criminality is a common perception around the world. The way by which it can depict the concentration of people throughout the globe is the cruel occurrence of it. State considers the interment of such criminality in its country as inner safety challenges. Bangladesh, due to its socio-economic and socio-political issues is harboring important types of illegal offences. Organizational failure to keep its stakeholders in a controlled surroundings and the political failure to keep its citizen's moral characters upheld may have fueled the mushrooming growth of criminal activities within the country. This paper is an analysis based on the secondary information found especially from the official police statistics of Bangladesh, Non-government organizations and other reliable sources. This paper argues that Century-old legacy of laws, lack of public confidence to the law-enforcement agencies and sense of immunity after the commission of crime inspired the potential offenders of the country years after years. Here, less moral or legal education still hinders children's balanced growing up with proper civic sense. As a result, a great number of crimes in one case provoke fear among people and at a time, it generates an inherent subconscious mind of people for taking these incidents in a usual way. Impact of international terrorism and illegal drugs directed the overall offense condition of this country in an unexpected purpose. For bringing an encouraging change there, a paradigm-shift is necessary. The starting is not easy in the on hand system but that is crucial here. Strategic formulation and accomplishment of proper preparation accompanied by exercising ethical teachings can improve the condition.

 Abstract

Neonatal Jaundice (NNJ) is one of the most important conditions of neonatal mortality and morbidity in Bangladesh. Yellows discoloration of the white part of the eyes and skin and other tissues of a newborn is known as neonatal jaundice. However the present study has conducted to assess level awareness of the nurse's knowledge & management of Neonatal Jaundice at Tertiary Level Hospitals in Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It was a descriptive type of cross-sectional study and conducted at selected different Government-Dhaka Nursing College and private-Holy Family Red Crescent Nursing College in Dhaka City. From each nursing college 200 respondents were selected. So, total 400 respondents were selected for the study. Purposive sampling method was used for the study. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources. Primary data were collected by face-to-face interview by the investigator. Collected data were analyzed by computer program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). From the result it was found that most of the nurses have fair level of knowledge toward concepts, causes, and side effects of phototherapy, intervention of bilirubin level (phototherapy) and steps of management. Establishment of in-service educational program to provide continuous education for nurses working in the neonatal intensive care units NICU aiming to refresh their knowledge, practice for care hyperbilirubinemia in neonates and for the new assigned nurses to improve their knowledge and practice.

 Abstract

This study focuses on the impact of education on gender equality and women's empowerment in Bangladesh, with a specific emphasis on breaking barriers and empowering girls. The introduction highlights the historical oppression of women and the need for women's empowerment in today's world. Bangladesh's progress in improving women's lives and gender equality is acknowledged. The background outlines the historical low social status of women and the existing gender disparities in education, marriage, and the workplace. The statement of the problem identifies the research's objective to examine barriers to girls' education and explore how education can promote gender equality and women's empowerment. The significance of the study lies in its potential to contribute to policy-making and gender discourse. The objectives of the research include assessing the current state of gender equality, examining the link between education and empowerment, identifying barriers to girls' education, and analyzing education's role in challenging gender roles. The research methods involve a literature review and qualitative data collection through interviews and observations of key stakeholders in Bangladesh. This discussion focuses on the status of girls' education in Bangladesh and the challenges it faces in achieving gender equality and women's empowerment. While progress has been made in increasing female literacy and enrollment, economic vulnerability, patriarchal norms, and limited access in rural areas continue to hinder girls' education. The study emphasizes the importance of women's empowerment and the positive impacts it has on individuals, families, and society as a whole. The recommendations include implementing gender-sensitive policies, raising awareness, engaging communities, providing financial support, and improving educational infrastructure to ensure equal opportunities for girls in Bangladesh. Achieving these goals will contribute to the overall development of the country and foster a more inclusive and equitable society.

 Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) is one of the technologies gaining increasing interest. By mixing virtual with the real world in different proportions, augmented reality allows a level of immersion that no virtual equipment can provide. AR systems have been already used in many applications as surgery, inspection of hazardous environments, engineering. Most of those systems, however, only operate indoors and cover relatively small areas. The advances of the computers, vision and wireless technology make possible development of outdoor wireless systems to support complex analysis, decision-making and governing processes. The benefits of utilizing such systems in these processes are twofold: 1) data supply on "the spot" (location-based services) and 2) provision of 2D, 3D model projections.

 Abstract

The term used in the constitution is 'weaker sections' of the community which are socially or educationally backward, particularly the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The scheduled castes occupy the bottom most rung of the Indian social hierarchy. These groups or castes have been discriminated against by the superior castes through ages, and they never had any kind of social acceptance from the majority of the people who belong to the upper castes. They are scattered throughout India. Bathadas a group of scheduled caste people are found in the Udupi district of Karnataka, suffer from various social, economic, political disabilities. Low level of education and ill health has been a major problem of the Bathadas. However, so far, no systematic empirical study has been conducted on Bathada community. Therefore, the present study is important to understand the correlation between attitude and health and educational development of Bathadas. It is important to know the role of health and education in the socio-economic development of the community. The study is also significant to understand the problems of health and education of the Bathada Community.

 Abstract

Fruits and vegetables are critical nutritional content of a growing nation like India. Viticulture encompasses produce, greens, spices, condiments, aromatic plants, and plantation crops. India's wide variety of produce includes Mangos, Bananas, Papaya, Coconut, etc. Also, greens typically include cabbage, peas, spinach, etc. Plantation crops consist of rubber, tea, coffee, cashew, etc. Spices are the key ingredients of an Indian diet, including pepper, bay leaf, chilli, cardamom, cinnamon, etc. Viticulture promises many financial gains by offering farm-bred crops that aspire for economic profit. Also, viticulture provides a promise of employment both to the rural population and the urban people, typically through job creation in various phases of the development of horticultural produce. For the Indian economy to prosper, there is a careful need for technological progress, automotive intelligence, enterprise resource management, and knowledge transfer. In this research article, a Process called PROVENCE (Processed Verdant Cadence) applies an algorithm name CANDY (Convoluted Random Forest) which in turn starts a method called PROST (Probabilistic Random Forest) to better the overall horticultural well-being of the Indian subcontinent.

 Abstract

Coconut oil, a lauric acid-based oil, holds significant importance in industries such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics due to its desirable properties. Emulsifying coconut oil presents challenges due to the varying chain lengths and degrees of saturation in the fatty acids. Non-ionic surfactants, including sorbitan esters (Span), polyoxyethylene sorbitan esters (Tween), and polyoxyethylene ethers are used in this study, as these surfactants are commonly used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications due to their low toxicity and irritational potential. Co-surfactants such as short- to medium-chain alcohols or propylene glycol are added to lower interfacial tension. This research paper aims to provide a comprehensive study of coconut oil emulsions, focusing on the role of surfactants and various factors influencing emulsion systems. The data collected and analyzed in this study involved the emulsion formation, the selection and characteristics of surfactants, and the parameters affecting emulsion stability.

 Abstract

Industrialization and population growth enhance earth greenhouse effect which is a critical environment problem. Carbon dioxide is the most significant contributor to the human influence on the green house effect and trees act as sink for CO2 by fixing carbon during photosynthesis and storing surplus carbon as biomass which after through time as tree grow, die & decay. Carbon sequestration is a natural method for the removal of carbon from atmosphere by storing it in the biosphere. As more photosynthesis occurs more co2 is converted in to biomass reducing Co2 in the atmosphere and sequestering it in plant tissue above and below ground resulting with growth of different parts. The continued and indiscriminate exploitation of forest resulted in an imminent environment crisis. The release of Co2 cannot be stopped easily. The only solution for Co2 mitigation is reforestation and conservation of existing species and diversity keeping in this view an attempt has been made to study the carbon sequestration by P1 comportment of Kamta beat forest of Chitrakoot. The study area was divided in to open and dense forest. Total 8 tree species were observed. In open forest total no. of trees was found 182 and in dense forest no. of trees was found 246. In this study carbon sequestration by open forest was 3793.94 kg/year & by dense forest 7730.95 kg/year. The total carbon sequestration was observed 11524.89 kg/year in study area.
