The COVID-19 pandemic in India is a part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).. In October 2021, the World Health Organization estimated 4.7 million excess deaths, both directly and indirectly related to COVID-19 to have taken place in India. [1] The first cases of COVID-19 in India were reported on 30 January 2020 in three towns of Kerala, among three Indian medical students who had returned from Wuhan, the epicentre of the pandemic. Lockdowns were announced in Kerala on 23 March, and in the rest of the country on 25 March. Infection rates started to drop in September. Daily cases peaked mid-September with over 90,000 cases reported per-day, dropping to below 15,000 in January 2021. A second wave beginning in March 2021 was much more devastating than the first, with shortages of vaccines, hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and other medical supplies in parts of the country. India began its vaccination programme on 16 January 2021 with AstraZeneca vaccine (Covishield) and the indigenous Covaxin. Later, Sputnik V and the Moderna vaccine was approved for emergency use too.[3] On 30 January 2022, India announced that it administered about 1.7 billion doses of vaccines and more than 720 million people were fully vaccinated. Objective: The main objectives of this paper are to provide awareness and to identify the research areas related to COVID-19. It may help improve the understanding of this disease and describe the psychological impacts of this pandemic and how these could change as the disease spreads. Conclusion : The real-world studies of vaccine effectiveness measure to which extent a certain vaccine has succeeded in preventing COVID-19 infection, symptoms, hospitalization and death for the vaccinated individuals in a large population under routine conditions that are less than ideal.

The emergence of Marathi theatre in the nineteenth century was a response given to the process of modernization. The new theatre in Marathi sought to challenge the establishment not only in theatre discourse but also against the reality outside which was char- acterized by unequal relations of power. Modernism in Marathi the- atre found its expression in Vijay Tendulkar, Satish Alekar and G.P. Deshpande. Unlike Tendukar's modernist perspective and Alekar's absurdist point of view, Deshpande's gender perception is essentially political. Almost all of his plays define politics especially in terms of the power structures in society and gender relations.

Myth exists from the beginning of the humanity. The whole world stands on belief system because nothing is certain in this world. Anything can happen any time without any valid reason. Myth is spread through the folklore in form of stories. There are occasions when a particular lesson or subject cannot be explained through direct references of people. Hence, stories were created by our ancestors to tell the reality to the people without hurting the sentiments of those characters, who really possess the features as explained in the folklores. For example, if a ruler is cruel and bad mannered, the writer cannot directly name the king and write a story on his behaviour. This will hurt the feelings of the ruler and in return, he may punish the writer. Similarly, there are also other qualities of human being consisting of humour, sadness, poverty, richness etc. which are inherited in the folklores in form of fictional characters. The people indirectly understand the lesson of the story as well as about the character portrayed in it. The lessons taught in the folklores are a part of the subject of moral science, which defines the way of living. It consists of both the good and evil characters, who educate the readers about the future of both the characters. Jataka tales, Panchatantra etc. are the creations of Indian intellectual writers of the past, similarly the modern writers like Githa Hariharan, Arvind Adiga, and Amitav Ghosh etc. have also portrayed folklores and myth in several of their novels. Myth gives courage and strength to people, who are facing difficult times and do not oversee any practical solution immediately. Belief is the only source of strength during that kind of period. Myth does not belong to any single religion. There are folklores in every religion, who portray the lessons through myth. The myth has gone to such an extent that it has become a part of strong belief in human beings. Questioning about the myth of God and Goddess of different religions is not considered as good in the society. Hence, the study of myth is attempted to reveal its importance through the writings of various Indian intellectual writers.

The number of persons in the age group of 10 to 19 years is defined as adolescents. As per the Census 2011, India has 25,31,60,473 persons between10-19 years, comprising 20.9 percent of the country's total population. India has the largest adolescent population country in the world). As per the last census in 2011, Odisha's population was 42 million. Out of these 42 million 40% of the population belong to marginalized communities i.e. 23 % are from Schedule Tribe and 17% from Schedule Caste. Since the adolescents of these marginalized communities are first-generation learners, they face a lot of challenges that prevent them from achieving their full potential. Some of the major challenges they face are related to proper education, health care, Safety, security, and many more. Adolescents, particularly girls between 10 to 19 years of age from tribal communities are more venerable and face challenges like dropout due to early marriage, sexual abuse, and teenage pregnancy. The study explains the process of implementation of Life Skills Education (LSE) based Adolescent Reproductive Sexual Health education program in) Residential Schools across Odisha.

Gender plays an important role in the lives of human beings, starting at the moment of their birth when they are given a blue blanket or a pink blanket and sent forward on a path that will turn them into what their culture considers proper men or women. From the very first breaths, humans are taught to follow a strict code of behavior that differs depending on their sex. Many research have critics about the men writers writing about women. Many times, the men author fail to express the issue of women. In a patriarchal society, this often means that a male will lead a privileged life in which he is thought to be the standard for human experience and the female will lead a subjugated, subservient life in which she is defined only in relation to males. Forcing men and women to fit into gender roles is damaging as it leads to the belief that these roles represent truth, causing gender stereotypes to endure. It also forces men and women to experience life only from their point of view as men or women, not as human beings. If art is a reflection of life, then one would expect that literature would present worlds in which these gender roles exist and women experience life far differently from men and suffer because of it. Gender roles are hard to dispel, but some male authors have attempted to see life from a woman's perspective. Researcher have written this article based on the few theories and novels.
