The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an unprecedented challenge to public health, food systems and the world of work. The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic is devastating: tens of millions of people are at risk of falling into extreme poverty, while the number of undernourished people, currently estimated at nearly 690 million, could increase by up to 132 million by the end of the year. Millions of enterprises face an existential threat. Nearly half of the world's 3.3 billion global workforce are at risk of losing their livelihoods. Informal economy workers are particularly vulnerable because the majorities lack social protection and access to quality health care and have lost access to productive assets. Without the means to earn an income during lockdowns, many are unable to feed themselves and their families For most, no income means no food, or, at best, less food and less nutritious food. The pandemic has been affecting the entire food system and has laid bare its fragility. Border closures, trade restrictions and confinement measures have been preventing farmers from accessing markets, including for buying inputs and selling their produce, and agricultural workers from harvesting crops, thus disrupting domestic and international food supply chains and reducing access to healthy, safe and diverse diets. The pandemic has decimated jobs and placed millions of livelihoods at risk. As breadwinners lose jobs, fall ill and die, the rood security and nutrition of millions of women and men are under threat, with those in low-income countries, particularly the most marginalized populations, which include small-scale farmers and indigenous peoples, being hardest hit. This paper describes the impact of COVID-19 on Indian society

The Productivity is the key factor for any growth of the construction firm because it play dual role such as performance of the industry and economic growth of the industry .The productivity rate of the construction firm can be raised by proper planning, scheduling and controlling the resources. This correct management system will reduces the time, price and conjointly will increase the standard of the product. In any construction firm the resources are namely man, machine& material& finance are utilized to get a better quality of product. Out of this material productivity is play importance role for the performance . This study determines varied issue moving on material productivity on construction site. Study the lean construction concept and their tools. Choose the better tool for implementation on actual site. Then implement the tool of lean construction on actual site and observe the changes. Compare this site with other regular site and analyse the practical conclusions.

This reactive power management in economic load dispatches plays a vital role in improving power quality of the system. The power compensation is the one of the problem in distribution network. The power is maintain the state of the UPQC (Uni?ed power quality conditioner). The UPAC controlled by the STATCOM or DSTATCOM. Different approaches use to maintain the power at needed level in the power distribution network the process done by MOPSO optimization method the MOPSO is the best for this process because we consider the lot of objective function to optimize the place of the UPQC. dissertation use the IEEE 30 bus system for analysis the demand response using the MATLAB environment. In this work proposed modify PSO based power flow is find the demand response in the IEEE bus system. And finally calculated the DG place buses and it is power to optimize the power system. Result shows that proposed work gives good result for choose the busses for balanced the power flow in IEEE system through reactive power optimization in economic load dispatch.

In the pharmaceutical world, an impurity is considered to be any other inorganic or organic substance. Today, not only purity profiles are mandatory, but also impurity profiles are also mandatory. Among impurities in the pharmaceutical world, there are any other inorganic or organic material, or residual solvents other than the drug ingredients or substances that arise after synthesis or unwanted substances that remain after the API processing. An impurity is an inorganic or organic substance other than the drug substances, or ingredients, that a result of synthesis or an undesirable chemical that remains in the drug product.

The process related impurity of Lacidipine 3-{2-[3, 5-bis(ethoxycarbonyl)-1,4-dihydropyridin-4-yl]phenyl}prop-2-enoic acid in bulk and formulations was synthesized, characterized and the RP-HPLC method was developed according to ICH Q2B guidelines for quantitation of impurity in bulk and formulations. The synthesis of intermediate was carried out by Hantzsch pyridine process using substituted aldehyde, EAA and Urea and methanol as catalyst. The percentage yield was found to be 69.89 %. The impurity was recrystallized and purified. The preliminary evaluation was done on lab scale viz. melting point, TLC and elemental analysis. The melting point of impurity was found to be 1560C. The TLC of impurity was carried by using Benzene and Methanol (6:1) and the Rf was found to be 0.80.
