 Abstract

This project, on account of all the efforts put in, has helped me sharpen my research skills and put my theoretical knowledge to work. After spending a year of MBA program studying different research and marketing techniques, it has been truly a winning experience getting into the field. The project deeply relied on understanding the Hyderabad bakery market and customers, which led me on a course to getting hands on all kinds of information. Further putting my analytics skill acquired during the time, I was able to visualize a statistical view of the culinary customers and market. The project helped me in more than one way. First, it helped me understand the criticality of doing an in-depth market research before opening any new venture and gave me an elevated exposure to the importance of knowing your customer, which is the only way to ensure the success of any business. Through the customer survey, I understood how different customers can be from one another and how their needs vary drastically, leading me to a conclusion that if not of all, businesses should try to tender to the needs of most of their customers. I am hoping to put this information collected to real use and open my own bakery in Hyderabad someday.

 Abstract

Abstract Considering the increased number of vehicles every day, parking supplies should meet parking demands on transportation infrastructure. Irregular construction and excessive population growth in urban areas required re-planning and site selection of parking places. In this study, an analysis was developed to determine location-based parking demand by using Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques. After calculating parking demand and supply balance, the location-allocation techniques of network analysis were implemented to determine the best locations of parking, depending on parking demand. These processing tools were tested for an urban area. As a result, an innovative data processing method was developed to determine the best locations of car parking. Over the years, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology has been implemented for a variety of purposes within the transportation industry. With this have come many new uses, benefits, and challenges. This project is able to show the capacity of GIS to support transportation analysis and planning Keywords-component; parking, transportation planning geographic information systems, network analysis.

 Abstract

Extract against anti-inflamatory medicine instigated gastric alcer. Mentha Arvensis extract was prepared by using continuous hor extraction (soxhlet) with ethanol.The extract were subjected to preliminary qualitative phytochemical investigation.The plant extract Mentha arvensis drug delivers a diminishing in the ulcer number in the aspirin instigated alcer model in rat.The remedial proportion in the aspirin initiated gastric model was 42%, 54%,72.9%, and 84.12% utilizing ethanolic extricate (100, 250,500 mg/kg), this shows that the plant has antiulcerogenic, antisecretory, and cytoprotective activities.  Abstract

Street theatre has always had a prominent role in the socio-political and cultural life of India as a democratic mode of communication, education and political dissent. Street theatre was one of the most powerful means of communication that came to the fore through the efforts of the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) and later, organisations like the Jana Natya Manch (JANAM) which made the street a place for discourse, protest, and social mobilisation. Traditional studies has always perceived street theatre in terms of the reliance on public space like streets, markets, factory gates, university campuses, and village squares. But, changes in technology, digital media and the need for hybrid communication platforms, as well as the rapid urbanisation, and the private sale of public spaces, have drastically transformed the spatial and social landscape of public performance in modern India. The article suggests that the street has become a new historical form in Indian street theatre and that it isn't only a geographical location but rather a subject, networked and dynamic space of public engagement. The paper suggests the term Post-Public Performance as a conceptual lens for analysing the shift of politically engaged performance from traditional public streets to hybrid physical and digital environments such as shopping malls, metro stations, social media, universities and live streaming platforms. In this paper, I draw on the field of Performance Studies, public sphere theory, spatial theory and the field of contemporary cultural studies to show how the democratic performance is taking place in connected, physical, digital and mediated publics. These changes are not the demise of street theatre but its adaptation to the changing social realities. The proposed framework helps to rethink the concept of publicness in contemporary theatre studies, by rendering it as a performative process rather than a specific place.

 Abstract

Water pollution is a major global environmental and public health concern. Contamination of water resources by chemical, physical and biological pollutants adversely affects human health, ecosystems and socioeconomic development. This paper critically examines the health impacts of water pollution, discusses sources and pathways of contamination and outlines effective prevention and control strategies. Emphasis is placed on acute and chronic diseases associated with polluted water, vulnerable populations and evidence-based prevention practices. The paper concludes with policy recommendations and future research directions.
