 Abstract

The present study explores the relation between emotional intelligence and psychological distress among menopausal and non- menopausal women. This is a quantitative study and is administered to 120 participants (60 menopausal and 60 non-menopausal). Convenient sampling technique was used to draw the samples from the population. Instruments such as emotional intelligence scale (Dr. Arun Kumar Singh and Dr. Shruthi Narain, 2014) and psychological distress scale (Dr. Kessler R.C, 1992) were used for the collection of data. Karl Pearson correlation and independent t- test were used for the analysis of data. The result showed a significant strong negative relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological distress and there was a significant difference among menopausal and non menopausal women in emotional intelligence and psychological distress.

 Abstract

Transportation is very important in our daily lives and its development has greatly facilitated much of our work. Accidents are considered one of the most devastating phenomena. There are many reasons for traffic accidents, but most accidents are caused by driver carelessness and uncontrolled speed. In this article, we propose an intelligent vehicle collision avoidance and safety system. Designed to reduce accidents, the system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect and display messages to the driver about vehicles approaching other vehicles. It also notifies the driver of any obstacles that are approaching him. GSM Alert is introduced into the system, pressure sensors detect accidents and send alert messages to the driver. One of the leading causes of accidents is drunk driving. This is because not all police officers can check every vehicle to determine if the person has been drinking. Therefore, there is a need for an effective system for screening drunk drivers with an alcohol detector.

 Abstract

Distillery spent wash is one of the most serious environmental problems since it is the undesirable residual liquid waste produced during the ethanol production process. The ever-increasing production of distillery spent wash and the strict regulations for its disposal have prompted the need for finding creative solutions to handle this effluent effectively and inexpensively. The present study suggested that electrochemical method as suitable substitutes for treating distillery spent wash. The experimental study was carried out using the electro-Fenton (EF) method to remove COD and colour from distillery spent wash. Experiments were also carried out to determine the effects of various process parameters, such as reaction time, pH, voltage, and various oxidant doses, on the removal effectiveness of COD and colour. The various affecting parameters were optimized using the RSM (Box-Behnken) model, and the outcomes were expressed as a percentage COD and colour reduction. The maximal COD and colour removal efficiency for the EF technique were 35.31% and 88.55%, respectively. The optimum conditions were a pH of 4, a dose of 25 ml/L of H2O2, a voltage of 3 volts, and a reaction period of 55 minutes. Following the application of EF, the GI values of radish and fenugreek were increased to 78.61% and 49.53% respectively. The results obtained showed a reduction in phytotoxicity of the treated effluents.

 Abstract

The present study is intended to find out high school teachers attitude toward use of ICT in teaching learning process. The present study is non experimental descriptive survey design was employed to find out the teachers attitude use of ICT in teaching process. In addition to it researcher also investigated whether attitudes significantly differ with respect to gender. The participants of the study were 40 High school teachers of Karwar taluka, Uttar kannada district of Karnataka state. The study revealed that teachers have high level of positive attitude toward use of ICT in education but the gender does not makes any difference In attitude of teacher toward its use in education. Yet scholars, policy makers and concern authority need to provide training programme for teachers so that the anxiety which they have can be eliminated so that they can give best to the society by which nation can be strengthened.

 Abstract

These days research has investigated to extricating helper statistics as of dissimilar biometric procedures, for instance, fingerprints, face, iris, palm, voice and so on. This information contain a few highlights like orientation, age, facial tresses, beard, scar, stage, hair, skin tone, glasses, heaviness, facial trace, tattoos plus so forth. This statistics offers increasingly through identifiable evidence. The noteworthy alter to goes over face recognition is to track downhill age as well as orientation of the individual. This document contributes a enormous review of dissimilar face recognition method for tracking down the age plus orientation. The current strategy is examine in view of their exhibition. This dissertation moreover gives future heading to additional assessment. Age as well as orientation, two of the vital facial credit, play a very essential job in forthcoming infrastructure, making age as well as orientation assessment as of a solitary face depiction a noteworthy responsibility in keen application, for instance, access control, human-PC link, policing, awareness as well as visual reconnaissance. This undertaking depends on PC vision the dissimilar wordings used to handle depiction as well as distinguish age plus orientation of individual as of depiction. A Convolutional Neural work is deep neural network (DNN) frequently utilize for reasons for depiction recognition plus management and NLP(Natural Language Processing).

 Abstract

The unimpeded growth of greenhouse gas emissions is raising the earth's temperature. The consequences include melting glaciers, more precipitation, more and more extreme weather events, and shifting seasons. The accelerating pace of climate change, combined with global population and income growth, threatens food security everywhere. Agriculture is extremely vulnerable to climate change. Higher temperatures eventually reduce yields of desirable crops while encouraging weed and pest proliferation. Changes in precipitation patterns increase the likelihood of short-run crop failures and long-run production declines. Although there will be gains in some crops in some regions of the world, the overall impacts of climate change on agriculture are expected to be negative, threatening global food security. Populations in the developing world, which are already vulnerable and food insecure, are likely to be the most seriously affected. 75 percent of the world's poor live in rural areas. This Food Policy Report presents research results that quantify the climate-change impacts mentioned above, assesses the consequences for food security, and estimates the investments that would offset the negative consequences for human well-being. This paper reviews recent literature concerning a wide range of processes through which climate change could potentially impact global-scale agricultural productivity, and presents projections of changes in relevant meteorological, hydrological and plant physiological quantities from a climate model ensemble to illustrate key areas of uncertainty. Few global-scale assessments have been carried out, and these are limited in their ability to capture the uncertainty in climate projections, and omit potentially important aspects such as extreme events and changes in pests and diseases. There is a lack of clarity on how climate change impacts on drought are best quantified from an agricultural perspective, with different metrics giving very different impressions of future risk. The dependence of some regional agriculture on remote rainfall, snowmelt and glaciers adds to the complexity. Indirect impacts via sea-level rise, storms and diseases have not been quantified. Perhaps most seriously, there is high uncertainty in the extent to which the direct effects of CO2 rise on plant physiology will interact with climate change in affecting productivity.

 Abstract

The sentimental analysis is a process of extracting human feelings from data. It is an application of natural language processing, computational linguistics, text analysis. Its basic idea is to classify human emotions in different moods such as happy, sad, neutral, etc. It uses the pattern of movement of both the lips and the eye shape that it takes during different feelings of human. It has a huge variety of applications because of its ability to extract insights from data sets and the social media. It will be using machine learning algorithms for the detection of emotions and it will be trained on the huge dataset with varying sample size. It will also use facial recognition to perform a specific analysis of a person after identifying their face. This will provide a separate report for each person on their emotional state. This report then will be used for the expression mining in different modern systems such as online streaming, video interviews, etc. This report will help to empower the existing tools to perform multi task and gives a lot of data to work with
