 Abstract

Urbanization and industrialization increased population density in cities and consequently leads to severe indoor and outdoor air pollution. As a result of these trends, the issue of sustainable and healthy indoor and outdoor environment has received increasing attention. Various air filtration techniques have been adopted to optimize indoor and outdoor air quality. Air filtration technique can remove air pollutants and effectively alleviate the deterioration of indoor and outdoor air quality.A comprehensive review on the synergistic effect of different air purification technologies, air filtration theory, materials and standards. It evaluated different air filtration technologies by considering factors such as air quality improvement, filtering performance, energy and economic behavior, thermal comfort and acousticimpact. Current research development of air filtration technologies along with their advantages, limitations and challenges are discussed. Air pollution has become the world's single biggest environmental health risk, linked to around 7 million deaths in 2012 according to a recent World Health Organization (WHO) report. The new data further reveals a stronger link between, indoor and outdoor air pollution exposureand cardiovascular diseases, such as strokes and ischemic heart disease, as well as between air pollution and cancer. This project aims to drive the future of air filtration technology research and development in achieving sustainable and healthy building ventilation

 Abstract

Fertilizers and pesticides must be used in agricultural fields to increase crop yields. The biggest disadvantage of manual spraying is that it can cause a variety of health problems in the person spraying the fertilizers, such as respiratory ailments, cardiac diseases, and so on. When your skin is exposed to pesticides, dermal exposure can occur. Irritation or burns may result. We came up with the idea of an autonomous fertilizer/pesticide sprayer using a drone to prevent this risk and spray the fertilizers/pesticides consistently. This system is designed for activities involving a high danger of human entry, such as some criminal cases, and might be particularly useful in the military for spying purposes. The system engages a robotic arm as well as a robotic vehicle to not only access a high-risk region but also to carry whatever object it desires. The system also contains a night vision camera, which allows viewing of what is captured not only during the day but also at night. The entire system is managed through an Android application. Through an android device application, the system delivers commands to the receiving circuit mounted on the vehicle

 Abstract

Transportation technology is becoming increasingly vital in today's world, and it must be developed over time. There are so many road expansions during development to counter the substantial increases of motorised vehicles. The growing number of automobiles has resulted in issues such as road damage and a lack of road upkeep. Lack of awareness about the importance of repairing damaged roads, like as potholes, makes it more unsafe for riders to drive without causing injury. These issues are becoming increasingly alarming as the number of accidents and fatalities continues to rise. The pothole detecting sensor can be employed on the automotive system to reduce the risk of an accident. The concept of a pothole detecting sensor was borrowed from the proximity sensor system in this study. This work develops a low-cost sensor with the same quality as the present technology. Despite the use of low-cost sensors, maintenance is similarly low-cost and straight forward. It was revealed as a result of this research and investigation that the distance between the sensor and the observed pothole should be less than 4%

 Abstract

Every system is now automated in order to meet new problems in today's environment. Automated systems require fewer manual procedures, allowing for more flexibility, reliability, and accuracy. As a result, in order to give superior performance, every industry chooses automated control systems, particularly in the field of electronics. Mobile phones are being utilized as a remote control for a three-phase motor pump that is used in agriculture. Due to India's frequent power outages and irregular voltage levels, efficient water distribution to the fields is required in all-weather circumstances. This is accomplished by transferring information in the form of messages between the user phone and GSM. This system is made up of a microcontroller that is linked to a GSM phone and a motor. This method can be used to operate any gadget in regions where there is no access to the internet. However, in this new architecture, the system does not need to be reprogrammed to manage a different appliance without modifying the microcontroller's programme. The user will be able to operate the appliance by making a call or sending a message from his phone. The system created with the Microcontroller in this work incorporates over-current protection, dry running, and single phasing. It is predicted that this

 Abstract

Indigenous festivals often embody ecological knowledge that has evolved through centuries of interaction between communities and their natural environment. Among such traditions, Harela, one of the most celebrated festivals of Uttarakhand, symbolizes greenery, agricultural prosperity, and the harmonious relationship between human beings and nature. While the festival has traditionally been examined from cultural and agricultural perspectives, its ecological significance has received comparatively limited scholarly attention. This paper examines Harela as an indigenous tradition that embodies ecological consciousness and functions as a medium for promoting environmental awareness through indigenous practices. Drawing upon the theoretical perspectives, the study analyses how the rituals of sowing seeds, worshipping Harela seedlings, welcoming the monsoon, and tree plantation reflect an ethical relationship with the natural world and encourage sustainable human-nature interactions. The paper further explores the role of Harela in preserving traditional ecological knowledge and transmitting environmental values across generations. It also highlights the contemporary relevance of the festival in addressing environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and ecological degradation through community participation and conservation-oriented practices. By integrating indigenous traditions with modern environmental discourse, Harela demonstrates that cultural festivals can serve as effective instruments of environmental education and sustainability. The study argues that recognizing and promoting such indigenous eco-cultural traditions can strengthen ecological consciousness. Thus, Harela emerges as a living cultural model for fostering environmental responsibility and sustainable coexistence between human society and nature.

 Abstract

Air pollution is one of the most significant environmental health risks globally. Both outdoor (ambient) and indoor air pollution contribute substantially to morbidity and mortality, particularly in developing countries. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution caused approximately 7 million premature deaths annually by 2012-2014 (4). Major pollutants include particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Exposure to these pollutants has been linked to respiratory diseases, cardiovascular disorders, cancer, neurological effects, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. This review paper summarizes the sources, mechanisms, epidemiology, and public health impacts of air pollution. The paper also discusses preventive strategies and policy interventions necessary to reduce health hazards associated with air pollution.

 Abstract

Corticosteroids play crucial roles in regulating the development, growth, metabolism, and immune function of the body. Long-term glucocorticoid treatment in mice has been shown to have significant effects on immune components in mice. Dexamethasone, a potent synthetic corticosteroid, exerts broad immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects in mice. It is widely used as a drug for the treatment of a range of metabolic diseases and inflammatory disorders in humans as well as in farm animals. Major concern has emerged about the adverse effects of long-term glucocorticoid (dexamethasone) treatment. In the present study the effects of long-term dexamethasone treatment on immune components mainly histomorphology of lymphoid organs and hematological parameters in adult male mice was assessed. Involution of thymus and spleen was prominent with a significant reduction in organ weight and organ/body weight ratio. Thymus histology showed severe atrophy and fatty infiltration. The size and density of thymocytes in cortex as well as in medulla was reduced. In spleen, disorganized white pulp with reduced splenocyte density and size was observed. Significant decrease in the number of total leukocyte and lymphocyte was observed. An opposite trend was noted in neutrophil count which increased significantly after dexamethasone treatment. A dramatic alteration in the neutrophils to lymphocytes ratio was also observed. The results suggest that long-term glucocorticoid (dexamethasone) treatment, having significant effects on different immune components, may be a risk factor for the development of immune related disorders.

 Abstract

Environment is the total of all the Physical things that surround human beings". Human beings interest with the environment more vehemently than other living beings. Everyone is speaking about the protection and preservation of environment. Environmental and nature protection cannot happen without societal change. So, each and every people of society should kwon about environmental education. Which will be a key tool for initiating, supporting and widening the scope of societal change. Community participation plays a crucial role in promoting environmental awareness and ensuring sustainable management of natural resources. In many cases, it is even more effective than various government measures. This is because if the public is not aware of what environment is and why we should protect the environment or importance of a healthy environment in our lives? Environmental degradation, caused by deforestation, pollution, climate change, and unsustainable development practices, has emerged as a major global concern. In this context, the active involvement of local communities becomes essential for effective environmental conservation and protection. This study examines the relationship between community participation and environmental awareness, highlighting how collective action, traditional knowledge, and local initiatives contribute to sustainable environmental practices. This paper explores various forms of community involvement, including participation in conservation programs, environmental education campaigns, waste management initiatives, and grassroots movements. It also analyses the role of awareness-building measures such as formal education, non-governmental organizations, government policies, and media in shaping environmentally responsible behaviour among community members. The study emphasizes that increased environmental awareness encourages community members to take ownership of local environmental issues, leading to better conservation outcomes.
