 Abstract

Education is the backbone of a nation. To improve the entire education system, a strong, well planned and systematic education policy is very much required. The first educational policy was made in 1968 which was modified in 1986 and 1992.and thereafter there was no any educational policy made in three decades. Formulation of NEP 2020 the first education policy of the 21st century has brought revolutionary changes to Indian educational system especially in Higher education. NEP 1968 mainly focused on issues of access and equity as the quality of education is poor in many areas. The NEP 2020 not only focuses on access and equity of education, but also focuses on quality of education and educational research. In this context researchers intend to focus on higher education as recommended by the National Policy of Education 2020 and 1986. The researchers try to distinguish between the higher education recommendations of NPE, 1986 and NEP, 2020. This paper attempts to identify the innovative ideas expressed in NEP, 2020.

 Abstract

India has been made great and glorious only by the people who sprang from the so-called lower castes of Indian society If India is growing under unbearable pain of external debts, economic imbalance, national devastation and other calamities, it is only because of the inhuman rule of the upper caste Hindus So long as the majority Indians were cursed to live as subhumans and are put to the social injustice and political deprivation, India cannot make expected progress in any field The history of India is the series of socio-political struggles to realize the dream of casteless society where the great ideals of equality, liberty and fraternity are cherished A study of these movements is of immense value and interest to the students and researcher of Sociology.

 Abstract

H. viswakarma is a parasitoid of L. augur. This parasitoid cause morphological, anatomical, physiological and biochemical changes in the host. Preparasitic juvenile enters healthy host body through weak body points and grows enormously at the expense of host body tissues and brings these changes. At last parasitic nema merges out from host body and the bug dies within 15 to 30 minutes.

 Abstract

The Ayurvedic approach to Mutravaha Srotas is highly logical, conceptual and scientific. The primary function of the Urinary system is to help for keeping the body homeostasis by controlling the composition and volume of blood. However Ayurveda explains Mutrotpatti in Pakwashaya during digestion process through the absorption of toya (Jaliyaansha) in it. Hence the factors kledata and ambuvaha srotas is tackled by the procedure Basti and which is best indicated in Pakwashayagata vyadhis.

 Abstract

Higher education plays a very significant role in society. It helps to develop the skills and knowledge among the students. Higher education creates a productive workforce in the country which helps to grow and develop the economy. There were 642 universities and 34852 colleges in 2011, which increased to 1113 universities and 43796 colleges in 2020-21. As it shows the growth in terms of the universities and colleges, but still Indian higher education still faces several challenges. The present paper focuses on the status of higher education, to study Sector-wise expenditure on Education in India, and study challenges faced by Higher Education. The present study is mainly based on secondary sources of data. To analyze the status and challenges of Higher education the period of 10 years i.e., 2011-12 to 2020-21 has been selected. The GER of males and females has increased during the study period, but it is less than 28. The percentage share of Temporary teachers ranges from 5.20 % to 7.77 % during 2011-12 to 2019-20. These temporary posts need to be recruited permanently in educational institutions. As a percentage of the GDP, government expenditure on education was constant at 2.6 percent from 2014-15 to 2017-18 which increased to 2.7 % in 2020-21. There are many challenges like less GER, Accreditation, low expenditure in education, and the problem of Infrastructure faced by higher education in India. The present paper examines the growth and challenges in Indian higher education, sector-wise expenditure on Education, and challenges faced by Higher Education.

 Abstract

This engineering study related to pavement materials, specifically focusing on the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test and the effects of soaking on CBR values. The CBR test is a common method used to evaluate the strength of subgrade soils and their suitability for supporting pavements. Soaking of soil samples before conducting the CBR test can provide insight into how moisture affects the soil's properties and its ability to bear loads. This experimental study is done in Delhi, India. In this study, I am investigating the impact of soaking on CBR values, considering different durations of soaking and how they relate to changes in moisture content The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test is a widely used method to assess the strength of subgrade soils. It helps determine how well the soil can support the load from the pavement structure. The CBR value indicates the ratio of the force needed to penetrate the soil to a specific depth to the force needed to penetrate a standard crushed rock material. Soaking soil samples before conducting the CBR test simulates the effect of moisture on soil behavior under load. Moisture content is an important factor in determining soil strength and behavior. The study aims to understand how different durations of soaking impact CBR values and the corresponding changes in moisture content. Understanding the relationship between moisture content, soaking, and CBR values is crucial for highway engineers. It helps them make informed decisions about the suitability of subgrade soils for pavement construction and maintenance. Rapid estimation of CBR values is particularly valuable for quick assessments in the field. The aim of this study is to shed light on how soaking impacts CBR values and how these changes in soil behavior can influence the overall performance of pavements. This type of research is important for ensuring the long-term durability and stability of highway infrastructure.

 Abstract

This Study examines the effect of Soft Skills training on Emotional Competency of Prospective Teachers by administering pre and post test. Within the framework of quasi-experimental research, the present study has utilized the experimental method and the one-group pre-test post-test design for the experiment. 90 prospective teachers who were enrolled in a two-year teacher training program (B.Ed.) at three of the training colleges of Bndelkhand University in Jhansi, India, during the academic year 2022-2023 made up the sample size. Before the Soft Skills training is administered, the participants' Emotional Competency is measured using appropriate assessment tools. The Soft Skills training is provided to the selected group of prospective teachers. After the Soft Skills training has been completed, the participants' Emotional Competency is measured again using the same assessment tools. The changes in the participants' competencies from the pre-test to the post-test are analyzed statistically by paired sample t-test. The intervention or training in soft skills appears to have had a very significant impact on emotional competency, according to the results. The results highlight the value of including soft skills in teacher preparation programs to provide educators the interpersonal and emotional intelligence needed for effective teaching.

 Abstract

Tourism has emerged in this decade as a central pillar of the services economy, and it can uniquely help society respond to global challenges, if its growth is managed wisely, with an emphasis on ethics, and poverty alleviation. The dynamic past and projected growth of the tourism sector, its broad direct and indirect impact across all economies - particularly those of developing states make it particularly well suited as a development tool. Since tourism is a multi- dimensional activity, and basically a service industry, private sector and voluntary organisations become active partners in the endeavour to attain sustainable growth in tourism. Hotel industry sector in India is accounted as very important in development of tourism and employment generation. It plays an important role such as bridging between clients and principal suppliers, image builder, rapid travel services, social and continues process. Manipur conflict cast a pall over tourism sector in the northeast. Over a 3 month-long clashes between two communities of Manipur, mounting death and destruction in the north eastern states of Manipur has brought life and livelihood to a grinding halt and completely derailed the momentum that tourism sector in the state and the region as a whole has received over the last few years. The key importance of the study is the assessment of the existing impact of conflict in the hotels undertaken in the study and to suggest measures so that supply meets the conflict period.
