Polymeric composites reinforced with natural fibers have raised more attention as the alternative building materials in this project, natural fiber composites prepared from jute and glass fiber sandwich panel. This project presented the bending behavior of the newly developed sandwich panel, Light weight sandwich laminated panels are increasingly being used as structural materials for a wide variety of applications in marine, aerospace, automobile, transportation and electronic packing sectors. The introduction of intermediate layer helped the sandwich panels to sustain a larger strain prior to reach their ultimate loads, resulting in a higher deformation capability.

Coronaviruses have caused two large scale pandemics severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) in last two decades. It was thought that SARS-related coronaviruses (SARSr-CoV) is mainly found in bats. Previous studies have shown that some bat SARSr-CoVs have the potential to infect humans. The current outbreak of viral pneumonia in the city of Wuhan, China, was caused by a novel coronavirus designated 2019-nCoV by the World Health Organization, as determined by sequencing the viral RNA genome. Many initial patients were exposed to wildlife animals at the Huanan seafood wholesale market, where poultry, snake, bats, and other farm animals were also sold. Here we have taken an attempt to understand the genetic structure of 2019-nCoV and subsequent sequence analysis of multiple regions of its genome to identify unique motifs, receptor binding domain, hypervariable region which may direct some insight to future research for developing effective treatment against this novel coronavirus. We have identified unique motif in spike protein, multiple hypervariable regions, amino acids polymorphism in ORF8. These may affect the conformation of the peptide and shed some light to cross species transmission, and subsequent host adaptation

Abstract: Kerala The Gods Own Country is filled with the presence of music, dance, musical instruments, temple arts and temple rituals. The history of various traditional art forms rests in the soil of Kerala. About eighteen musical instruments are known as Kshetra Vadyam. It includes Deva vadyam and Asura Vadyam from which the distinct place for Chenda can be acknowledged by observing where it is present. It might be Chendas resonance that make the seventeen Ashtadasha Vadyams to below the Chenda. Some of the musical instruments which are being used for Pooja rituals in temples are also being used for some classical dance forms in Kerala. The study of such musical instruments and the classical dance forms associated to it are the foundation of this journal. Some musical instruments are used only outside the temple and some are used inside the temple only. Sopana Sangeetham is one of the popular among Kshetra Sangeetham. Only one musical instrument is used in Sopana Sangeetham ie Idakka. Idakka is a musical instrument which is inevitable in Mohiniyattam concert. Idakka is only used in Kathakali when female role is presented. The Chenda is an inevitable musical instrument in Kathakali. Altogether, five musical instruments in Pakkamaelam are used when Kathakali is staged from which four are Kshetra Vadyams, Chenda, Idakka, Madhalam, Chengila and the one which is excluded in Kshetra Vadyams is Ilathalam. In Krishnattam, which is staged only in the surroundings of the Temple.Idakka, Thoppi Madhalam, Sudha Madhalam, and Chengila are borrowed from Kshetra Vadyam,s. Mizhav is a Kshetra Vadyam which is very important musical instrument for staging Keralss unique and traditional art forms, Koodiyattam and Nangyar Koothu. Other than Mizhav, Idakka, Kuzhithalam, Conch, and Karumkuzhal are the musical instruments in Koodiyattam and Koothu.

Abstract Digit sucking is a natural phenomenon and is one of the most common learned patterns of behavior seen in children of preschool age. If digit sucking habit persists beyond the time permanent teeth begin to erupt, it may cause malocclusion. When the thumb is inserted into mouth mandible is positioned downward. The digit creates pressure on incisors blocking their effective eruption while allowing excessive eruption of the posterior teeth. The upper incisors are proclined and the lower incisors are retroclined. Starting from counseling to appliance therapy, sample treatment modalities have been reported in the literature. This case report describes a 5year-old girl who reported to our department with a history of thumb sucking habit which was intervened with the use of fixed habit breaking appliance.

One of the most complex challenges faced by todays interconnected and interdependent common village is organized crime, which essentially constitutes to be nothing less than a guerrilla war against society. Organized crime in itself has multiple branches within, including illegal wildlife trade, terrorism, money laundering and trafficking and its impact can deter the very core of human society- from human safety to institutionalizing evils of corruption to having an adverse impact on the environment. The authors of this paper endeavor to establish the spread of organized crime as a phenomenon of increasing globalization and its further facilitation by the use of technology. The paper focusses on the recent increase in the industry of illegal wildlife trade and terrorist financing as substantiated upon in the recent reports released by FATF, keeping in mind the international jurisprudence and the challenges faced by them in addressing these transnational crimes and attempt to make a case for stricter implementation of legal instruments and concerted and coordinated efforts amongst nations to address the same.

Pesticides are documented to have strong impact on the physiological, biological, biochemical and morphological parameters of insects. This study reviews the sub-lethal impact of Cypermethrin (a synthetic pesticide) on various biological parameters of Callosobruchus chinensis. The designed insect was exposed to sub-lethal dose of Cypermethrin. The exposure did not produce immediate mortality of the insect, but had prolonged effects on its biological parameters. The laboratory analysis was carried out with LC10, LC20 and LC30 of the designed pesticide at a room temperature of 25-27 oC and relative humidity of 60-70%. The mean rate of oviposition decreased from control = (96 2), LC10 = (92 2) to LC20 = (79 2) and LC30 = (63 3). The percentage of egg development into larvae showed significant decline from control = (94%) to LC10 = (81%), LC20 = (67%) and LC30 = (55%) respectively. In the same way the percentage of adult emergence from the 4th instar larvae of C.chinensis showed significant decline from control (95.00 2.00%), LC10 (88.00 2.50%), LC20 (55.00 2.60%) and LC30 (40.00 2.85%). Similarly the mean life span of adult females decreases from control = 12.50 0.125 to LC10 = 8.25 0.190, LC20 = 6.50 0.150 and LC30 = 4.30 0.125. Since chemical pest control method is quick, easy and inexpensive, but it is associated with several negative effects on environment therefore in view of the environmental modifications that have significantly impacted our ecosystem, insect population and other beneficial non-target organisms, it is necessary to evaluate the lethal and sub-lethal effects of many pesticides frequently, as this will help to determine the dose response status of insect pests for preference and design of chemicals for control programme.

The purpose of the study is to explore the role of self-service technology (SST) service quality in enhancing customer-bank relationships. Specifically, based on the commitment-trust theory of relationship marketing, the study aims to examine the effect of SST service quality on customer trust and customer commitment in the context of mobile banking in Thailand. To test research hypotheses, the study employed a quantitative survey of 226 respondents. Structural equation modeling was utilized for data analysis. Results indicated that SST service quality embracing convenience, functionality, perceived control, and security within the mobile banking context has a large direct effect on both customer trust and customer commitment, two key constructs of relationship marketing success. The current study has extended the understanding of technology-driven service quality to relationship marketing body of knowledge. For managerial implications, it is imperative for bankers to provide higher quality services of mobile banking by prioritizing service quality factors to develop ongoing relationships with their customers.
