ABSTRACT: Recently, support vector machine (SVM) has excellent performance on classification and prediction and is widely used on disease diagnosis or medical assistance. However, SVM only functions well on two-group classification problems. This study combines feature selection and SVM recursive feature elimination (SVM-RFE) to investigate the classification accuracy of multiclass problems for Dermatology and Zoo databases. Dermatology dataset contains 33 feature variables, 1 class variable, and 366 testing instances; and the Zoo dataset contains 16 feature variables, 1 class variable, and 101 testing instances. The feature variables in the two datasets were sorted in descending order by explanatory power, and different feature sets were selected by SVM-RFE to explore classification accuracy. Meanwhile, Taguchi method was jointly combined with SVM classifier in order to optimize parameters ???? and ???? to increase classification accuracy for multiclass classification. The experimental results show that the classification accuracy can be more than 95% after SVM-RFE feature selection and Taguchi parameter optimization for Dermatology and Zoo databases

This paper reveals that the hexa-coordinated mixed ligand Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes of the type [MLX]Cl2 where X=1,10-phenonthroline and ligand (L) have been synthesised from the condensation of thiophene-2-carboxaldehyde with o-phenylenediamine. They were characterised by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, infrared, electronic absorption, proton magnetic resonance and mass spectral studies. An octahedral geometry has been proposed for all these complexes. The high molar conductance studies of the complexes show their electrolytic nature. The infrared spectra of the complexes show that the imine group of the Schiff base coordinate with the metal ion. The electronic absorption spectra of the complexes show the charge transfer, d-d transitions consistent with their proposed geometry. The proton magnetic resonance spectrum of the ligand shows the presence of CH=N group in the ligand. The mass spectral data also confirms the proposed structure of ligand and its complexes. The mixed ligand complexes possess good catalytic activity in the reaction of oxidation of alcohols using H2O2 as oxidant. The antibacterial activity of the mixed ligand complexes has been carried out by disc diffusion method. Copper (II) complexes exhibit potent antibacterial activity when compared to the standard drug streptomycin. The above complexes also exhibited DPPH radical scavenging activity.

The era of the middle of last century was a unique time in the history of the world. The second world war had ended. India and Indonesia had become independent. In China, a new government was formed under the leadership of Comrade Maotse Tung, which was established by his People's Service (People's Army). A few days later, there was a new wave of independence in African countries. National governments came to power in Kenya and Tanzania. There was a desire everywhere for development or for village development. The problems were not one, but many. We got freedom from BS Humanitarian Gilmie. Problems of education, health, farming, cooperatives, etc. were found as a gift with freedom. Governmental cooperation, awareness, meaning and time were needed to deal with all these problems and the most important work was to connect people to the main streams (bread, cloth, and houses). Community development work was necessary in these circumstances, but it was equally difficult as it was necessary, because there were countless needs of social and economic life which wanted immediate solution. We were surrounded by darkness. There was a need to light some lamps of light. Initially gave full cooperation with the Development Commissioner of Directors of various departments of the Provincial Government and gave good workers for the posts of Assistant Department Officers with special qualifications from their respective departments and also keep giving technical advice and instructions to the officers. This system continued till the years 1961 - 62. Due to this, there was a lot of enthusiasm in the country, hoping that the light of community development is burnt, it will spread the light throughout the country.

Abstract: The idea of modernity in Assamese poem has come from Western thoughts. Specially, the catastrophe of Second World War has bound to preface a new era to the 40s and 50s poets. From this time, Assamese poem has avoided avoid the romantic pleasure and holds an equal practice like western modern poetry in the field of language. Primarily, it is referred as Modern poetry in Assamese poetry. The famous magazines like Jayanti, Ramdhenu, and different other poet uses new metaphor and thus a new era has prefaced. In the way, in the background of 20th centurys intelligence, different experiment and opinion are formed and in this consequence, with new thought Assamese poem gains board scope in modernity. With those modernity usages, two important Assamese poets has concentrated their study on poetry: Harekrishna Deka and Hirendranath Dutta. In this paper, we will discuss about their contribution and also try to discuss their special characteristics towards Modern Assamese Poetry.

Tourism in India is important for the countrys economy and it is growing rapidly. Indias travel and tourism Industry outperformed its economy as a whole. Meghalaya is a little hilly state with fascinating scene, unique culture, custom and conventions. On 21st January 1972 Meghalaya the Dwelling place of clouds turned into state of India. Meghalaya the Abode of cloud is one of the most beautiful states in the North eastern Region. It is also called Scotland of the East in study area Umjarain village is situated in Mawkyrwat the South West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya. From Shillong the hot spring (tourist spot) is about two and a half hours journey by bus/car.Umjarain is not densely populated like the others tourist destination in Meghalaya. Regarding tourist spot huge number of people visit this place either to enjoy its natural beauty or for picnic or to experience the health therapy provided here. As a result, this place is able to attract many tourists every year. In modern society, no tourism industry can escape for international competition due to globalization. In this situation how to enhance Socio-Economic development of this area is the biggest Challenge. It requires an overall plan to increase tourist destination and effectively using limited resource to the current environment and focus on empowerment of local women and gender equality whichbenefits women. This paper is based on primary and secondary data collection and its attempt to explain the issues in the Socio- Economics development in Umjarain area (hot spring tourist spot) in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District in Meghalaya.

The burning of fossil fuels, Sulphur dioxide emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles are one the major cause of air pollution. In the present paper we discuss about the effect of pollution on Earth in 21 century. The formation and initial phases of Earth. The effect on Air, Water, Soil, different types of pollution such as, Water pollution, Air pollution, Soil pollution, Thermal pollution, Radioactive pollution and light pollution its causes and effect. The formation and effect of acid rain on the Earth. The study shows that, increase in pollution due to industries, e-wastage, sewage, mining, leakages of oil on ocean, use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides in farming are very harmful to living things.
