The era of the middle of last century was a unique time in the history of the world. The second world war had ended. India and Indonesia had become independent. In China, a new government was formed under the leadership of Comrade Maotse Tung, which was established by his People's Service (People's Army). A few days later, there was a new wave of independence in African countries. National governments came to power in Kenya and Tanzania. There was a desire everywhere for development or for village development. The problems were not one, but many. We got freedom from BS Humanitarian Gilmie. Problems of education, health, farming, cooperatives, etc. were found as a gift with freedom. Governmental cooperation, awareness, meaning and time were needed to deal with all these problems and the most important work was to connect people to the main streams (bread, cloth, and houses). Community development work was necessary in these circumstances, but it was equally difficult as it was necessary, because there were countless needs of social and economic life which wanted immediate solution. We were surrounded by darkness. There was a need to light some lamps of light. Initially gave full cooperation with the Development Commissioner of Directors of various departments of the Provincial Government and gave good workers for the posts of Assistant Department Officers with special qualifications from their respective departments and also keep giving technical advice and instructions to the officers. This system continued till the years 1961 - 62. Due to this, there was a lot of enthusiasm in the country, hoping that the light of community development is burnt, it will spread the light throughout the country.

Refugee women face various disastrous consequences of migration as refugee settings bring different consequences for women as compared to men. This paper will discuss the difficulties and problems faced by refugee women at source transit and destination level. Apart from that it will also focus on rights which have been provided to refugee women and how far these rights have been effective in providing a decent and dignified life to refugee women.

Tourism in India is important for the countrys economy and it is growing rapidly. Indias travel and tourism Industry outperformed its economy as a whole. Meghalaya is a little hilly state with fascinating scene, unique culture, custom and conventions. On 21st January 1972 Meghalaya the Dwelling place of clouds turned into state of India. Meghalaya the Abode of cloud is one of the most beautiful states in the North eastern Region. It is also called Scotland of the East in study area Umjarain village is situated in Mawkyrwat the South West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya. From Shillong the hot spring (tourist spot) is about two and a half hours journey by bus/car.Umjarain is not densely populated like the others tourist destination in Meghalaya. Regarding tourist spot huge number of people visit this place either to enjoy its natural beauty or for picnic or to experience the health therapy provided here. As a result, this place is able to attract many tourists every year. In modern society, no tourism industry can escape for international competition due to globalization. In this situation how to enhance Socio-Economic development of this area is the biggest Challenge. It requires an overall plan to increase tourist destination and effectively using limited resource to the current environment and focus on empowerment of local women and gender equality whichbenefits women. This paper is based on primary and secondary data collection and its attempt to explain the issues in the Socio- Economics development in Umjarain area (hot spring tourist spot) in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District in Meghalaya.

The burning of fossil fuels, Sulphur dioxide emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles are one the major cause of air pollution. In the present paper we discuss about the effect of pollution on Earth in 21 century. The formation and initial phases of Earth. The effect on Air, Water, Soil, different types of pollution such as, Water pollution, Air pollution, Soil pollution, Thermal pollution, Radioactive pollution and light pollution its causes and effect. The formation and effect of acid rain on the Earth. The study shows that, increase in pollution due to industries, e-wastage, sewage, mining, leakages of oil on ocean, use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides in farming are very harmful to living things.

Abstract: Background- Medical interns undergo huge amount of pressure. They tend to reduce their amount of sleep and develop altered sleep pattern in an effort to adjust and cope with their workload and stressful environment. Thus, the above situation leads to deprivation of sleep quality. Objectives: To observe sleep quality assessed by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and to study factors associated with it among study population. Aim: To determine factors associated with poor sleep quality. Materials and Methods- This is a cross sectional self-administered questionnaire based study among the 100 medical interns. Data is analysed statistically by MS-Excel 2016 using Chi-square test Results- out of 100 interns, the majority were having poor sleep quality (53%). Female counterparts were found to be good sleepers (56.90%). Maximum students with sleeping arrangement of sleeping alone in a room were having good sleep quality (70.15%). Most of them having sleep duration of 7-8 hours (65.79%) or more (71.43%) were good sleepers. But those having habit of Coffee intake (62.26%) and regular smoking (92%) were found to be having poor sleep quality. Majority of those doing regular exercises were good sleepers (52.94%).Students spending time on electronic media like mobile or laptop for less than one hour were mostly good sleepers (71.43%).All of the above study factors had P value of <0.05. Among those consuming alcohol on regular basis most of them were having poor sleep quality (97.05%), but there was no statistical significance between interns consuming alcohol and those who did not with P value marginally >0.05. Conclusion: As there were statistical differences found in gender, sleeping arrangement, sleep duration, coffee intake, smoking habit, regular exercises and use of electronic devices, these factors are related with the sleep quality of study population.

In the era of knowledge, it is important to look at education; huge data is getting accumulated for educational purposes. It is the need of time to look at the data figure out patterns and check if the system needs any improvisation. To see useful trends in data, data will have to be clustered. To achieve this, various clustering techniques are used all over the world. This paper presents a comparative study of two such techniques; k-mean and Clustering by fast search and finding density peaks - heat diffusion (CFSFDP-HD). K-Mean, which has been used for a long time; is a robust algorithm and useful when the data is small. This is an iterative algorithm, by changing centroids in each iteration, this will give us a proper and optimum number of clusters. CFSFDP-HD algorithm follows a different and adaptive approach to cluster data where centroids are selected based on the density of data around them. We observed CFSFDP-HD be more efficient and robust as without too many iterations it gives proper clusters.

The major cause of frailty in older and overweight people is Osteoarthritis. It is a joint illness that generally influences the ligament that could be principally affects the cartilage. Cartilage is a smooth elastic tissue which makes the bones move easily, stabilizes the joint and prevents them from abrading one another. The protective cartilage in Osteoarthritis is ruptured and makes the bones rub one another, inflicting joint stiffness and excessive pain. The current system for the assessment of Osteoarthritis incorporates clinical examination and restorative imaging methods. In this project, by utilizing profound features and medical images we need to recognize and classify OA affected in knee. This can impact on the detection and classification of target area in images and cause of it the irrelevant features could be selected from the medical images. This article will moreover center on dealing the colossal quantity of image information by using high speed computing. This paper also discovers the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques for detection and classification of Osteoarthritis in descriptive and comparative manner.
