ABSTRACT: The empire of Vijayanagara was very rich. The foreign travellers who visited the Vijayanagara empire have paid tributes to its wealth and splendour. The Vijayangara empire was in a state of prosperity for over two hundred and fifty years. It was the saviour of Hindu culture. The prosperity of the Vijayanagara empire was due to the growth of agriculture, industries, trade and commerce. The state followed a wise irrigation policy. Industries were also encouraged by the state. Commerce was inland, coastal and overseas. Calicut was the most important port on the Malabar coast. If Abdul Razak is to be believed, there were as many as 300 sea - ports in the Vijayanagara empire. There are commercial relations with the islands in the Indian Ocean, the Malaya archipelago, Burma, China, Arabia, Persia, South Africa, Abyssinia and Portugal. The exports from the Vijayanagara empire were cloth, rice, iron, salt, petrel, sugar and spices. The imports were horses, elephants, pearls, copper, coral, mercury, China silk and velvet. The coins of the empire were those of Gold, copper and silver. There were emblems of different gods and animals on them. Import was very much less than export during the Vijayanagara times, for the kingdom was autonomous.

ABSTRACT: Background: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are on the rise and affecting people worldwide, with 41 million deaths annually attributed to them. Low- and middle-income countries are most affected, with four groups of NCDs - cardiovascular, cancer, respiratory, and diabetes - causing 80% of premature deaths. Risk factors include tobacco use, inactivity, alcohol misuse, and unhealthy diets. The study used WHO STEPS to assess risk factors, finding high prevalence rates of smoking, inactivity, poor diet, overweight, and obesity. Age is a strong predictor of NCD risk factors. Specific recommendations and collaboration are needed to address the issue.

Increasing concentration of heavy metals in water bodies is posing serious threat to fish health and aquaculture. Several studies revealed that cadmium accumulates in the fish body tissues which causes significant toxic effects on fish health as well as possible toxic effect on human body. The toxic effects include release of reactive oxygen species (ROS), reduced activities of antioxidases and consequent tissue damage, renal and liver disfunction.

The imparting of pedagogical skills and instructional techniques, B.Ed colleges bear the responsibility of cultivating a strong foundation of ethical values within their trainee teachers. By immersing trainee teachers in an environment that fosters ethical awareness, critical thinking, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, B.Ed colleges can ensure that their graduates contribute positively to society by shaping generations of individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also morally upright and ethically responsible. By identifying and advocating for best practices that effectively inculcate values, this study has the potential to catalyze a paradigm shift in teacher preparation, ultimately fostering a generation of educators who are not only proficient in pedagogy but also deeply committed to nurturing ethical and empathetic citizens of the world. The study analysed the necessity of best practices in exercising value inculcation among teacher trainees in different domains. By integrating these best practices, B.Ed colleges can effectively equip trainee teachers with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to impart values in a meaningful and impactful manner. This holistic approach transcends traditional teaching methods, focusing on the cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains to nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically competent but also ethically responsible and socially conscious. Best practices in value inculcation serve as a guiding light for B.Ed colleges, ensuring that the process is grounded in evidence-based research, innovative methodologies, and a deep understanding of the diverse cultural and ethical landscapes that shape our world.

Recent days, encryption techniques are the important thing to secure our personal communications and messages. Encryption techniques are promptly increased by the increasing usage of communication networks and evaluation of the internet. Sharing an information from one end to another end over an unsecured channel opens a door for hacking or attacking the information. In order to reduce this and to provide better security, encryption techniques are playing a vital role. Caesar cipher is one among the ancient and a simple encryption technique, which is also known as substitution cipher that means a cipher which substitutes one alphabet to another. But this method is too easy to break the letters. Atbash cipher is one of the monoalphabetic cipher, here the encryption is done by using the Hebrew alphabet, that is it will be encrypted by mapping every alphabet to its reverse order. In this paper, we implement a new encryption technique that will combine Caesar Cipher with Atbash Cipher (CCAC) in order to provide more security than the original Caesar cipher and Atbash Cipher and resist hackers.
