Manuscript means the hand written documents. These are the treasures of Indian heritage. Before the invention of printing technology, the literary works were manually prepared. The manuscripts are the object of high esteem. The other name of manuscripts is Puthi in Assamese language. The Assamese society worships it in place of any idol in the community prayer hall called �N?mghar�. Therefore, these manuscripts are preserved in places like Satras (Assamese institutional centers associated with the tradition of Vaishnavism), temples, museums, library etc. This paper is an attempt to highlight the writing process of ancient manuscripts in Assam.

BACKGROUND: The traditional way of classification of ascites by AFTP offers little insight to the pathophysiology of ascites formation and it has further drawbacks. In order to overcome it the classification of ascites based on SAAG has emerged. Even SAAG also has some draw backs like non correlation with ascites due to non alcoholic cirrhosis and difficulty in identifying the ascites due to mixed etiology. So the study is conducted to compare the diagnostic accuracies of SAAG and AFTP in identifying the pathophysiology of ascites as both the method has drawbacks. METHODS: A total of hundred patients who were admitted with Ascites were included and ascitic fluid total protein and SAAG was calculated. They are classified on the basis of SAAG into High SAAG and low SAAG and on the basis of AFTP into Transudate and Exudate. After the etiology of ascites evaluated by various diagnostic procedures the sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of SAAG and AFTP in identifying the pathophysiology of ascites calculated separately. The diagnostic accuracies of SAAG and AFTP compared statistically. RESULTS: The sensitivity of SAAG was found to be 87.01% and that of AFTP was found to be 63.63%. The specificity of SAAG was found to be 82.60% and that of AFTP was found to be 56.41%. The diagnostic accuracy of SAAG was found to be 86% and that of AFTP was found to be 58%. The diagnostic accuracy of SAAG and AFTP for individual aetiologies of ascites were found and compared. SAAG was found to be superior to AFTP with a P value of <0.01. Which is statistically significant. CONCLUSION: The sensitivity and specificity of SAAG and AFTP in identifying the pathophysiology of ascites in various hepatic and non-hepatic causes were studied and it was found that SAAG was superior to AFTP. The diagnostic accuracy of SAAG and AFTP was studied for individual etiologies of ascites and SAAG was found to be superior to AFTP and it was proved statistically significant.

Internet of things is a defined as the system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. Traditional fields of embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, control systems, automation, and others all contribute to enabling the Internet of things. In the consumer market, IOT technology is most synonymous with products pertaining to the concept of the "smart home", including devices and appliances (such as lighting fixtures, thermostats, home security systems and cameras, and other home appliances) that support one or more common ecosystems, and can be controlled via devices associated with that ecosystem, such as smart phones and smart speakers. This paper deals with the detection of the plant disease using image processing technique and proposes a system which will detect the values such as the soil moisture of the plant, humidity level and pH level of the water using sensors. It also detects if insects or pests are within a 10 meter distance of the plant.. The images are threshold to particular values after that detected image threshold are masked over the original image. The image is clustered based on the features using k- means clustering, GLCM algorithm would generate the features from the images.

To enhance the Mechanical properties and welding quality of Aluminum (Al) plate an automated TIG welding system has been developed, by which welding speed can be controlled during welding process. Welding of Al plate has been performed in two stages. During 1st stage of welding, single side welding performed over Al plate and during 2nd stage both side welding performed for Al plate by changing different welding parameters. Effect of welding speed and welding current on the tensile strength of the weld joint has been investigated for both type of weld joint. An analysis through Optical microscopic has been done on the weld zone to evaluate the effect of welding parameters on welding quality. Micro-hardness value of the welded zone has been measured at the cross section to understand the change in mechanical properties of the welded zone.

To discover and develop new drugs by the traditional method, it requires more time and expensive process. Now a day, these issues are overcome by the use of computer software. Web usage mining is an application of data mining technique to discover to find the usage patternand serve the requirement of Web-based applications. Analyzing the data through web miningeffectively helps in website mangement, creating website, network traffic flow analysis and so on. The aim of this paper is to find the find user access pattern based on user�s session and behaviour.Web usage mining includes three phases pre-processing, pattern discovery and pattern analysis. We propose this technique which cluster the user session based on K-Mediods and DBSCAN technique to find the effective usage pattern.
