In recent years, the proliferation of mobile technologies has significantly transformed how Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) operate and deliver social services. Mobile applications have emerged as powerful tools enabling NGOs to address critical societal challenges such as poverty alleviation, healthcare access, education, women's safety, disaster response, and food security. This paper explores the multifaceted role of mobile apps in enhancing the operational efficiency, outreach, and impact of NGOs committed to social good. Through a comprehensive literature review and case study analysis, this study examines how NGOs design, implement, and leverage mobile applications to foster community engagement, enable real-time data collection, facilitate donor communication, and track beneficiaries. The paper also identifies and discusses key challenges such as infrastructure limitations, ethical concerns, and digital literacy gaps. Notable case studies such as Hunger Hero, Too Good To Go, and The Felix Project demonstrate the tangible benefits of digital transformation. This research contributes to the growing discourse advocating the integration of mobile technology in the nonprofit sector, underlining its potential to bridge service gaps and promote sustainable development.

In the digital age, online ratings and reviews have emerged as crucial factors influencing consumer decision-making, particularly in the purchase of durable products. This study explores the impact of online reviews and ratings on the pre-purchase behavior of consumers in Coimbatore city, a major industrial and commercial hub in South India. Durable goods, which typically involve high investment and long-term use, prompt consumers to seek extensive information before purchase. The research examines how consumers in Coimbatore access and interpret online feedback, the degree of trust they place in user-generated content, and how such content shapes their buying intentions. A combination of primary data collection through surveys and secondary data analysis has been used to understand behavioral patterns. The findings indicate a strong correlation between positive online reviews and increased purchase intent, while negative feedback often leads to reconsideration or brand-switching.

In Buddhist cosmology, the historical figure Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha, is not regarded as the only individual to have attained enlightenment and taught the Dharma (the path to liberation). Instead, Buddhist scriptures and traditions speak of a lineage of "former Buddhas"--enlightened beings who appeared in previous eras to guide sentient beings toward liberation from suffering. This concept underscores the timeless nature of the Dharma and the recurring emergence of Buddhas across vast cycles of time. This article explores the idea of former Buddhas, their significance in Buddhist thought, and the textual as well as archaeological evidence supporting their historical existence.

Skin health is an important aspects of aesthetics. Dermatologists and scientists try to develop novel methods and materials to fulfill this aim. Facial cosmetics keep skin moist and remove sebum from the skin to maintain proper skin health. The use of suitable cosmetics according to the facial skin type results in healthy skin. Facial masks are the most prevalent cosmetics products utilized for skin rejuvenation. Facial masks are divided into four groups: a) sheet masks b) peel-off maks c) rinse off maks d) hydrogels. Each of these has some advantages for specific skin types based on the ingredients used. The following article presents the available information about the facial mask. Also, we have focused on the facial masks available in the market. Despite several developments in this field, extensive research is required for performing successful and precise clinical trials in the future. Further improvement would enable the researchers to develop new products in this field. In this review we present the most recent breakthroughs in the field of skin care and rejuvenation by cosmeceutical facial mask. This information is valuable to get the picture of the latest trends and also helpful for clinicians and related manufacturing companies.

This research critically examines the legal, social, and historical dimensions of marital rape in India, focusing on the paradox where rape is criminalized, yet non-consensual sex within marriage remains legally exempt under Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code. Despite progressive amendments to Indian rape laws post-2013, marital rape continues to be excluded from criminal prosecution, leaving married women vulnerable and without legal recourse. The paper explores international and domestic legal perspectives, relevant case law, and survivors' personal narratives, highlighting the psychological trauma and societal stigmatization faced by victims. Through a sociological and legal lens, the study exposes how patriarchal norms and the notion of implied spousal consent suppress women's autonomy and sexual rights. Drawing comparisons with jurisdictions that have criminalized marital rape, it argues for the urgent removal of the marital rape exception, aligning Indian law with constitutional principles of dignity, equality, and bodily autonomy. The study concludes with policy and educational recommendations to reform laws, sensitize the judiciary and society, and uphold the rights and dignity of married women.

In today's industrial landscape, leakages of toxic gases and undetected chemical emissions etc are some of the pressing issues that industries face. Current gas detection technologies are costly and impractical for wide deployment, causing delays in hazard detection. This project provides a scalable, cost-effective solution for faster and more efficient gas detection in industrial environments. By integrating machine learning to train the system on gas-specific sensor patterns, it is able to distinguish between gases like hydrogen sulphide, methane and carbon monoxide. This model can be used to detect other gases as per the industry requirements integrated with IoT capabilities it offers seamless connectivity to employee's devices, ensuring timely alerts and enhanced safety measures.

Pneumonia remains a significant global health challenge, with chest X-rays serving as a critical diagnostic tool. However, accurate and timely diagnosis often requires expert radiologists, who may not be readily available in all settings. Pneumonia is most prevalent in underdeveloped and developing countries, where factors such as overpopulation, air pollution, and unhygienic environmental conditions exacerbate the spread and severity of the disease, while medical resources remain scarce. Therefore, early diagnosis and effective management can play a pivotal role in preventing the disease from becoming fatal. This paper surveys the effectiveness of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), particularly ResNet-50 and VGG-16, in automating the detection of pneumonia from chest X-ray images. We evaluate the integration of these pre-trained models with various techniques such as data augmentation, preprocessing, and transfer learning, and discuss how these methods enhance the classification performance. The proposed models, when combined with optimized classifiers such as Support Vector Machines (SVM), achieve high diagnostic accuracy, offering a promising and scalable solution for timely disease detection, particularly in remote, underserved, or resource-limited areas.

Artificial Intelligence is the ability of a machine to perform task that usually requires human intelligence, such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving etc. Artificial Intelligence provides the promise of revolutionizing rural communities by improving agricultural techniques, healthcare, education, and economic prospects. The study aimed to explore the difficulties in utilizing Artificial Intelligence among rural communities and to find some way outs to address these difficulties. The study analysed the secondary data from various source available in internet with the help of qualitative approach. The rural communities from different part of India face some significant difficulties in utilizing AI due to in adequate infrastructure, limited Digital literacy, High costs, Data scarcity, and shortage of local expertise. These barriers hinder the effective utilization of Artificial Intelligence in rural areas. The issues and limitations discussed can be addressed through the development of affordable AI tools, local training initiatives, and digital infrastructure. The research underscores the importance of tailored solutions and collaboration between stakeholders to achieve sustainable development and bridge the urban-rural divide. Artificial Intelligence can be a powerful tool for driving positive change in rural settings, creating a more equitable and prosperous future.
