: ESP courses have paved the way for many. Conversely, concerning nursing students, there are limited researchers who have specifically analyzed English language teaching. Also, it is important to note that there is no explicit survey about the challenges faced by ESP learners, particularly in the development of LSRW skills with reference to Nursing. Therefore, this paper addresses this gap. Relevant literature suggests that ESP practitioners have to actively indulge in action research as well as keep themselves abreast with the ongoing research in the field of ESP. The findings of this study strongly suggest that no single teaching methodology can be sufficient to address the diverse and peculiar needs of ESP learners. Therefore ESP practitioners have to pick and choose from a host of teaching methodologies to run an effective ESP course. It is also important that ESP practitioners run ESP courses in collaboration with content teachers and these courses require unique methodologies that are governed by scientific analyses of the diverse specific learner's needs.

This study investigated the viability of employing bamboo as a potential reinforcement in ferrocrete structural elements, several tests on the "Nilgiri" bamboo species were carried out, and the outcomes of compressive and flexural tests were assessed using three different ferrocrete specimens which was used as a control beam. It was found that there was a clear correlation between the amount of reinforcement and the tested bamboo ferrocrete specimens' ability to support a given load. A mould or cube of 15 cm in size was tested for compressive strength. Ferrocrete's compressive strength is not particularly impressive; test findings indicate that specimen compressive strength declines as bamboo mesh reinforcing rises. Flexural tests were carried out using 100 mm x 100 mm x 500 mm beams. The variables used with test beams were specimens with no reinforcement (NM), specimens with steel mesh (FC), and specimens with bamboo mesh (BFC). Overall, test results showed that specimens with bamboo mesh reinforcement (3%) increased their load carrying capacity by 200 percent on average when compared to specimens without reinforcement and were nearly equals to the specimens with steel mesh reinforcement (1%).

One major factor propelling India's agricultural industry is the country's focus on coffee output and productivity. India is becoming one of the world's top coffee producers because of its ideal climate and growing circumstances. Productivity has increased greatly because to the government's aggressive approach to encouraging coffee farming via different programmes and subsidies. Mechanisation and precision agriculture are only two examples of how the use of contemporary agricultural methods has increased coffee's productivity. This research was conducted to learn more about the current state of coffee farming in India and its potential future growth prospects. The enhanced quality of Indian coffee as a result of this emphasis on efficiency has made it quite desirable on foreign markets. Research and development efforts have paid off by producing disease-resistant cultivars and cutting-edge processing techniques, so making agriculture more resilient and sustainable in the face of threats like climate change. Overall, India's increased focus on coffee production and productivity has benefited the country's economy and established the country as a major participant in the international coffee market.

The current land registration system in India involves a paper-based approach that is susceptible to fraud, errors, and security risks. This traditional method is time-consuming and involves a complex documentation process, which contributes to the rising cases of fraudulent activities. To address these issues, this paper proposes the use of blockchain technology to create a decentralized land registration system that is secure, reliable, and transparent. The blockchain model offers an immutable and decentralized public ledger that can enhance the accuracy and security of land records. By removing middlemen, the blockchain land registry platform can accelerate the validation process of land ownership, reduce costs, and decrease the time required for land registration. The primary objective of this paper is to explore the potential of blockchain technology in land registration, with a focus on how it can prevent fraud, store land ownership records, and facilitate ownership transfer through cryptographic algorithms and smart contracts. This paper will first discuss the challenges faced by traditional land registration systems, including security, transparency, and efficiency. It will then examine how blockchain technology can address these challenges by providing a secure and transparent land registration system.

Sexual identities like cross dressing, homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderness, hermaphroditism, and more have always been mysteries in any society at any point in time, but mythology acts as a lens through which one can get to the bottom of these mysteries. Mythology always presents a picture of ancient times, and we get to know the society through tales from various sources like the Puranas, Vedas, Jainism, Buddhism, Mahabharat, Ramayana, and oral traditions of Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Vraj, etc. All these sources throw light on the existence of queerness in India, and they also validate how acceptable and normal it was during those ancient eras. This research paper is an attempt to enunciate how retellings of stories by Devdutt Pattanaik in Shikhandi: And Other Queer Tales They Don't Tell You (2014) can be more thought provoking and how they refresh one's ideals on such queer relations. Every tale in the novella suggests that this kind of transition not only existed with mortals, but that even gods, goddesses, devas, asuras, angels, demons, and more were the forerunners of queer relations. These stories present great noble causes behind every transformation, and this proves the valuable position of queerness in ancient India.

Background: Type 1 diabetes is a chronic illness characterized by the body's inability to produce insulin due to the autoimmune destruction of the beta cells in the pancreas. Although onset frequently occurs in childhood, the disease can also develop in adults. Vitamin D deficiency is a major public health problem worldwide in all age groups, even in those residing in countries with low latitudes. Recent studies reported a relationship between low vitamin D and the development of type 1 diabetes. Vitamin D supplementation especially in the early stages of life may reduce the risk of development of type 1 diabetes. Aim of study: to see the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in type 1 diabetes and its relation with glycemic control. Patients and methods: It is a cross-sectional study for 6 months between the 1st of October 2022 to 30th of March 2023, where one hundred thirty-two patients with type 1 diabetes who attended The Specialized Center for Endocrinology and Diabetes in Baghdad Government-Iraq, their ages between 2-18 years were investigated for fasting blood glucose (FBG), Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) vitamin D and serum Calcium (S.Ca), in addition to anthropometric measures which standardized according to Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) growth charts. Whether vitamin D deficit, insufficient or normal levels depended on the Endocrine Society's definitions of vitamin D levels. Results: 57.6% of the patients were older than 10 years and 59.8% of the diabetic patients were females. Body Mass Indexes for diabetic patients were within normal limits according to CDC growth charts. This mean HbA1c of the diabetic patients was higher in those older than 10 and in female patients (P-value=0.000 for both). Levels of vitamin D were deficient in 71.1% of the diabetic patients and insufficient in 22%, with no sex or age predominance (P-value=0.907 and 0.981 respectively). Serum calcium was normal in 64.4% of the diabetic patients and 55.3% of them had vitamin D deficiency. Glycemic control was poor at any serum vitamin D levels (normal or abnormal values) with no significant relationship between vitamin D and HbA1c (P-value=0.943). Conclusions: Most type 1 diabetic patients were vitamin D deficient mainly females older than 10 years. Poor glycemic control was seen at any vitamin D levels.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought life to standstill during 2020-2021and to save lives, globally, a mass safety measure of lockdown was implemented. Resources and public services in different countries were diverted to curb the fatal infectious disease of Covid-19. In India, number of policy measures were taken during lockdown for continuity of essential services and to restore the necessary suspended government food supply-chain and nutrition services. Special need-based policy incentives have been taken during lockdown to restore health and nutrition services under one of the critical government scheme namely, the POSHAN Abhiyaan (mission) that was started in 2018 to address the issue of malnutrition among children, adolescent, pregnant and lactating mothers. During the lockdown there was a vital need to continue the services under the mission as health and nutrition are critical health policy issues to address and to lower the child mortality and maternal mortality rates. The Government of India issued policy guidelines under the mission for continuity of the nutrition and health services through measures like home-visits by Frontline workers. To follow the guidelines, States Governments resumed home-visits and provided essential services that ranges from providing dry rations, local preparations for supplementary nutrition, home-visits for children with severe malnutrition, staggered approach for community based events, virtual classes for preschool education.
