This 2 month long study has been done with the Chhaliya community from Uttarakhand. Chhaliya Dance is the state symbol of cultural representation but the life of a Chhaliya Artist is not that easy. They are vulnerable to casteist exploitation , identity crisis and social boycotts or side lining from the mainstream communities and artforms. In this research I have tried to understand why people in this community are still performing the same practices though their social status is still considered to be low, which leads me to question the motivations for them continuing this art form? I have also attempted to analyze the other social, economical and political reasons that influence the Chaliya community and their art form.

Abstract: Land degradation is a pervasive problem in many parts of the world, and success in fighting against degraded land requires a better understanding of the causes, effects, weather, soil, land cover, and socio-economic factors. The current research uses advanced remote sensing technology and GIS to determine the quantity of endangered and destroyed land from remote sensing information at any time, providing accurate and reliable information. This article examines the water damage of the Amu Sea coast using remote sensing and GIS methods, which are Land Use Land Cover, Slope, and NDWI (the difference in land surface cover in the period of 2000-2022 with analysis based on image data) Landsat 7 and Landsat OLI 8 satellites used the supervised maximum classification method. The result shows the total amount of degraded area is 297.077207 KM2 and the area under threat is 959.0996728 KM2 the most degraded District is Shurtipa in the Balkh province 83.185498 KM2 and the most under threat District is Imam Sahib in Kunduz Province 163.930124 KM2.

The aim of this study was to probe the prescribing preference of psychotropic drugs. The study was a prospective, cross-sectional observational analysis, caried out in retail and wholesale pharmacies in Thrissur and Palakkad district. 75 patients were selected from the psychological disorder over a period of 3 months from March 2023 to May 2023 for this study. A total of 520 drugs are analyzed from 200 prescriptions of the 75 patients. The data like price distribution, prescribing pattern, disease prevalence, demographic details of the patients, were collected and the collected data was evaluated to determine the prescribing trends. With respect to the demographic profile of 75 patients, 44% were males and 56% were females. The average number of drugs given per prescription was more in the age group of >65 that is (33.3%) and less in the age group of 35-45 that is (9.3%). Out of these 75 patients, Depressive disorder was found to be the most common psychological disorder followed by schizophrenia. Among all the categories of drug, anti-depressants, anxiolytics and hypno-sedatives and anti-psychotics were most commonly prescribed, then followed by anti-epileptics, anti-Parkinson and supplements. Alprazolam (34.61%), Escitalopram oxalate (21.15%), Clonazepam (13.46%), Olanzapine and Zolpidem (7.69%) are the top five prescribed psychotropic drugs. On the 520 drugs 85 were prescribed by generic name and 435 were prescribed by brand names. In this study it is found that different brand of the drugs is prescribed at disparate rates. Promotional activities of psychotropic drugs are limited to an extent. Among the prescribed drugs gimmicks is most commonly used promotional tool in the marketing of psychotropic medications that is 71 %, then followed by sales promotion that is 29%.

: Now a days, object discovery is used encyclopedically in multitudinous fields similar as, videotape surveillance, rambler displays, vilification discovery, tone- driving buses and appearance recognition etc. Efficient and reliable monitoring of wild animals in their natural habitats is essential to inform conservation and management decisions. Since there are large number of different animals, manually relating them can be a delicate task. So, it's delicate to classify animals grounded on their images and cover them more efficiently. Also, it's important to make a count of animals as they're being defunct now a days, so to save them we've to keep a note duly so that we can take important measures to save them. In being system there's only homemade checking where a mortal being need to present to keep a count of animals. Which take so much of time to identify the animals. To overcome those problems, we're introducing an automatic relating and counting the animals by using deep learning methods. This process gives an accurate result to detects and keep proper count of animals.

Organochlorine (OC) pesticides are synthetic pesticides widely used all throughout the world. They are belonging to the group of chlorinated hydrocarbon derivatives, which have vast application in the chemical industry and in agriculture. The aim of the study was the organochlorine pesticides persistent in the environment and their toxic effects on breathing organisms. These compounds are known for their high toxicity persistent in the environment, slow degradation and bioaccumulation. Even though many of the chlorinated compounds which belong to OC were banned in developed countries, the use of these agents has been rising. This concerns particularly abuse of these chemicals which is in practice across the continents. Though pesticides have been developed with the concept of target organism toxicity, often non-target species are affected badly by their application. The purpose of this review is to list the major classes of pesticides, to understand pesticides based on their activity and persistence, and also to understand their biochemical toxicity.

The academic performance of the students during the high school is considered to be more important for their future career. The academic performance is affected by various factors internally and externally. To overcome all the challenges during their studies in high school, emotional intelligence is very important. Low emotional intelligence among students might affect their performance in academics. But empirical evidence for this is very minimal and thus this research has been conducted to find whether emotional intelligence affects the academic performance of the students by analyzing their high school Tamilnadu state board examination results. This research uses a descriptive method of research. The population used in this study was high school students who have completed their 12th standard as per the Tamilnadu state board Examination in Coimbatore area, and as many as 287 students were sampled in this study by random sampling. The data analysis was a simple linear regression test using IBM SPSS 23. The result of this study shows that the relationship between variables of 0.543 in a positive direction, with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.374, which means that independent variables have an influence of 37.4% on dependent variables. Referring to the calculated F value = 62.869 with a Sig. rate of 0.000 < 0.05 means that the null hypothesis is rejected, and the research hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, emotional intelligence positively affects students' academic performance.

The outbreak of Novel Corona Virus has throttled the entire world economy. The pandemic has created a profound shock with different implications for both male and female. It is witnessed that women have served on the frontlines against COVID 19 and the impact of the crisis on women is stark. There has occurred an economic downfall due to this pandemic which has affected the gender inequality in the labour market both in short run and long run. Again, there has occurred a change in the job pattern especially in case of female as during lockdown period they were overburdened with household work and child care work. Female counterpart has shown interest towards the gig work where they may find flexibility in terms of timing or shift of job. In this paper an attempt has been made to study mode of female employment during 2017/18-2021/22. Mode of employment is classified into three categories- self-employment, regular salaried employment and casual labour. The extent of casualisation has declined not because of the fall in casual labour but because of fall in regular salaried employment during the period 2017/18-2021/22. However, invention of Covid vaccine, social awareness, proper implementation of Covid protocols have played a vital role for handling this crisis gradually. With the passage of time, we are able to overcome the worst situation. In recent time, it is observed that the status of female counterpart in the workforce participation has slightly improved as compared to the previous situation.
