 Abstract

Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANETs) have been attracted a lot of research in recent years. In VANET, vehicles are dynamic nodes which communicating with each other by wireless technology in their own transmission range. Although VANETs are deployed in reality offering several services, the current architecture has been facing many difficulties in deployment and management because of poor connectivity, less scalability, less flexibility and less intelligence. To improve network scalability and connection reliability, a vehicle clustering algorithm, which organizes vehicles in groups, is introduced in VANET. Recently, there are various clustering and load balancing methods such as cluster-enabled capacity-based load-balancing , hybrid Ant Colony Optimization and Artificial Bee Colony (ACO-ABC) optimization, energy-aware predictive clustering approach, Vehicular Genetic Bee Clustering (VGBC), proactive load balancing mechanism, Cluster-on-Demand VANET Clustering algorithm (CDVC) along with load balancing, Link Reliability-based Clustering Algorithm (LRCA), hybrid backbone based clustering algorithm, Load Balanced Routing strategy (LBR) are analyzed and its merits and demerits are evaluated.

 Abstract

In this study, the researcher investigated the impact of socio-economic status on academic achievement of higher secondary school students. The researcher selected 200 higher secondary school students and 4 higher secondary schools as sample in Burdwan district. Socio-economic status scale developed by B. Kuppuswami, G.Trivedi and Uday Pareek was used for data collection regarding students socio-economic status and previous annual marks of the students considered as academic achievement were collected from school record book. The researcher analysed the samples by using Pearson's coefficient of correlation method and t-test as statistical techniques. The findings of the study showed the there is a positive correlation exist between socio-economic status and academic achievement scores of higher secondary school students

 Abstract

This paper presents an inventory model for a single item where the demand rate is stock-dependent. Three fixed costs are considered in the model is purchasing cost, ordering cost and holding cost. A new approach focused on maximizing the return on investment (ROI) is used to determine the optimal policy. It is proved that maximizing profitability is equivalent to minimizing the average inventory cost per item. The optimal policy for minimizing the inventory cost per unit time is also obtained with a zero-order point, but the optimal lot size is different. Both solutions are not equal to the one that provides the maximum profit per unit time. The optimal lot size for the maximum ROI policy does not change if the purchasing cost or the selling price vary. A sensitivity analysis for the optimal values regarding the initial parameters is performed by using partial derivatives. Some useful managerial insights are deduced for decision-makers. Numerical examples are solved to illustrate the obtained results on the Inventory Model with Stock-Dependent Demand Rate and Maximization of the Return on Investment in fuzzy environment.

The IEP is created through a team effort, reviewed periodically. In the United States, this program is known as an individualized education program.  Abstract

The present study examines the relationship between birth order and prosocial behaviour and life satisfaction. A total of 174 participants aged between 20 to 39 years completed the Prosocialness Scale for Adults (PSA) and the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS). The participants were recruited via Snowball sampling from India, South Korea, Canada, UAE, and Japan. The results were assessed using t-test analyses, which found no significant difference between first-born and later-born individuals in terms of prosocialness and life satisfaction. Therefore, birth order does not have a significant influence on an individual's prosocial behaviour and satisfaction with their lives. These findings suggest that there may be other determinants that play a more significant role in shaping an individual's personality, behaviour, and satisfaction with life.

 Abstract

The importance of an investment decision can't be overstated because it entails accepting a risk in exchange for a potential reward. Because the stock market is so unpredictable and volatile, investors must be cautious when making decisions and carefully consider the market trend. Investors become enraged as a result of their own evaluation of the stock market and the specific business whose shares are quoted on the stock market. The three sources of guidance for investors in making their investment decision are self analysis based on own judgement and experience, brokers or friends who are involved in the investment, media reports and reviews of stock market trends, and experts who have special knowledge about the stock market. Investors with degree and post-graduate levels of education have shown a preference for making their own decisions rather than following the advise of brokers. However, investors with a background in agriculture have tended to rely more on brokers, media analysis, and professional advice. Business and employee investors favored making their own decisions and following friends' and brokers' recommendations. _____________________________________________________________________________________________

 Abstract

The mechanical properties of carbon fiber-reinforced polypropylene composites were identified by conducting suitable experiments. The main focus of this study the tensile strength, flexural strength, Hardness and Impact Strength as per ASTM standards. Specimens were prepared by injection molding process. The Results reveled that ultimate tensile strength, flexural strength, Hardness and Impact Strength of 20wt% of carbon fibers higher than the remaining compositers.

 Abstract

This study tries to analyse maternal health as a human security issue. Maternal health has been an issue of serious concern since decades. Human security ,health security ,maternal health and human rights are closely interlinked. Human security refers to the security of the people and communities as opposed to the security of the states. Health security, as identified by UNDP's Human Development Report 1994 , is one of the component of human security. Health is the determinant of human well being and economic growth. Without good health , progress of a nation is not possible. Maternal health is a component of health so security relating to maternal health is a human right . To safeguard maternal health as a human right, state and non state actors at global and national level have taken initiatives in the form of policies ,laws and strategies. This study makes an attempt to study those policies and schemes with special reference to India.
