 Abstract

Early and effective reperfusion of acute myocardial infarction (MI) has resulted in a substantial decline in the incidence of mechanical complications, including ventricular septal rupture which is frequently associated with cardiogenic shock (12% of patients). Hemodynamic stabilization, in most cases using an intra-aortic counter-pulse balloon, is the first step in the care. Then, the decision of a surgical or percutaneous closure and its timing should be evaluated within the heart team, allowing a decrease of mortality to 30-40% at 30 days. We present a case of anterior AMI complicated by apical VSD and cardiogenic shock, highlighting the role of echocardiography in the diagnosis of this critical complication.

 Abstract

In this paper, we consider an optomechanical system containing, a cavity field and Coulomb interaction effects. In this work, we theoretically present an indicative enhancement of the steady-state Entanglement in an optomechanical system. We observe the various effects of Entanglements between optical cavity systems by taking the pump field power for different coulomb coupling parameters. Quantum Entanglement is observed by calculating fluctuations of position and momentum parameters. We also verified the maximum entanglement for this System for experimental data. The Entanglement is enhanced by increasing the strength of Coulomb interaction effects. In our study, we successfully enhance the footstep of steady-state optomechanical entanglement to improve quantum communication like optical Switching. Our study is necessary to achieve quantum computing and also for long-range quantum communication.

 Abstract

Culverts are the structures which are used when the path of water in the natural stream crosses roads, railway lines, flyovers etc. They are normally cheaper than bridges, which make them the natural stream passes through channels. In this work, the review of various authors and their views in the design and analysis of culvert with software approach and comparison between software and manual approach has shown. The IS standard requirements in the design manual for roads and bridges (IRC-6-2000, IS 21-2000) is used in the structural designing of concrete culverts. In this paper study about the different classes of IRC loadings and their effect on without and with cushioning conditions imposed on culvert. The pressure cases are then checked for both with cushioning and without cushioning loading cases. The structure designing includes the considerations of pressure cases ( empty, Full, surcharge load) and factors such as Impact load, Braking force, Dispersal of load through fill, Effective width, Coefficients of earth pressure, Live load etc. The structural elements are designed to withstand the maximum bending moments and shear forces respectively. In the present study, this paper provides full discussion on the provisions in the codes, considerations and justifications of all the above aspects of design.

 Abstract

Aim: Assessing the effect of selected locally available beverages and eatables on salivary ph Methodology: Study comprised of 20 subjects. Test samples undertaken were soft drink, fruit drink, chocolate and wafers. Before intake and immediately after intake followed by 5, 10, 15 minutes later salivary ph was determined with digital ph meter. Result: Difference in the mean salivary ph at base line and at different interval of time after consumption of different beverages and eatables was found to be statistically significant. Conclusion: It is always advised to minimize the consumption of beverages and eatables, especially amongst children and adult to maintain a good oral health.

 Abstract

Drawing insights from my doctoral fieldwork experience using naturalistic methods of inquiry with children in street situations, the paper argues for using theoretical frameworks and participatory research methods that enable a dynamic and flexible way to look at children in street situations as capable social actors with agency. The paper uncovers how children in street situations evolved from being passive respondents to co-constructors of knowledge in the research process. I also elaborate on an array of data collection methods falling into the realm of naturalistic inquiry, including semi-walking interviews and projective play activities. Finally, the challenges encountered in the field and reflections are stated.

 Abstract

The Age of Big Data are already running because the traditional data analytics may not be able to handle such large quantities of data. Big data refers to datasets that are not only big, but also high in variety and velocity, which makes them difficult to handle using traditional tools and techniques. Due to the rapid growth of such data, solutions need to be studied and provided in order to handle the extract value and knowledge from these data sets. Furthermore, decision makers need to be able to gain valuable insights from such varied and rapidly changing data, ranging from daily transactions to customer interactions and social network data. Such value can be provided using big data analytics, which is the application of advanced analytics techniques on big data. This paper presents brief introduction of data analytics, architecture of big data, knowledge discovery and big data algorithms.

 Abstract

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a value added tax to be implemented in India, GST is considered to be a game changer in Indian Economy. (GST) is another such undertaking that is expected to provide the much needed stimulant for economic growth in India by transforming the existing base of indirect taxation towards the free flow of goods and services. This research paper uses primary sources of data such as survey and analysis of the data collected. The secondary sources such as books, journals and articles are also referred for this research. The implementation of GST made a huge change in the commerce field and the overall economy of the country. The implementation of GST made many problems than benefits. So this study aims to find out the problems faced by dealers on GST implementation.

 Abstract

Nanotechnology is the science that deals with the process that occurs at molecular level and of nano length scale size. Nano refers to the particle size range of 1-1000 nm. Nanosuspensions are coming under nanotechnology. A pharmaceutical Nanosuspension is defined as very finely colloid, biphasic, dispersed solid drug particles in an aqueous vehicle, size below 1?m stabilized by surfactants and polymers prepared by suitable methods for drug delivery applications. It provides efficient delivery of hydrophobic drugs and increases the bioavailability. Nanosuspension is an attractive and promising technology to improve poor solubility and bioavailability of the drugs. This review article describes the methods of preparation, and applications of nanosuspensions in the field of pharmaceuticalsciences.
