 Abstract

Introduction: Nutrient foramina of tibia are located in the proximal third of the shaft. In most of the cases nutrient foramina are located away from the growing end of the bone. During growing period 80% blood supply of bone occurs through nutrient artery. Through knowledge about the nutrient foramina and blood supply of long bone is one of the important features for success of new technique in bone transplantation and resection in orthopedics. Materials and methods: The present study was conducted on 70 dry tibiae (39 right and 31 left sided) of unknown sex from department of Anatomy of National medical College, Birgunj, Nepal. Study was done carefully for the number, position, distance of nutrient foramina from upper end and foraminal index of tibia. Results: In this study, a single diaphyseal nutrient foramen was observed in all the tibia. There were no bones with double nutrient foramen. 90% of the foramina were present in the upper third and 10% of the foramina were in the middle third, there were no any nutrient foramina on the lower third of the bone. 82.8% of the foramina were present on the posterior surface, 14.3% were on the medial surface and 2.9% were on the lateral surface. Conclusion: A knowledge of foraminal topography helps to preserve bone vasculature during surgeries. This increases the success of fracture fixation, bone grafting and knee replacement procedures involving the bones.

 Abstract

Indian Sarus Crane (Grus antigone L.) is a flagship species of marshland and wetlands, frequently sighted on the agricultural landscape. In total 33 individuals of Sarus crane recorded from Matar (District-Kheda) and Tarapur (District-Anand), two tehsils of two adjoining districts from the plains of Central Gujarat region. The maximum numbers of males 11(33.33%) were observed followed by 10(30.30%) females, 6(18.18%) juveniles and 6(18.18%) sub-adults during the time period of January to March of 2017. 25 (75.76%) Sarus cranes recorded in Agriculture field, 21 (63.64%) individuals in Wheat field and 4(12.12%) in Chana field, followed by 8(24.24%) in Waste/Fallow land. Different activities of Sarus Crane such as foraging, flying, courtship dance, resting, feeding and resting also recorded. Change in cropping pattern, stealing of eggs from the nest and use of different chemicals in agricultural practices challenge Sarus Cranes to maintain the population in the area.

 Abstract

The study of Mammograms is important as it allows an inside look into the breast health of women. It serves to be a preventive screening method for Breast Cancer. A Radiologist is able to detect variations in breast tissue such as calcifications, masses, and also comment on the density of the breast. These findings aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. Studying a mammogram however is a tedious and time-consuming task that additionally requires a certain amount of experience. Automating detection and classification of masses, identifying regions of interest, and determination of breast density all aid a Radiologist to effectively and quickly report the findings in a Mammogram. This paper gives an overview of the current work that has been directed to accomplish this objective utilising Deep Learning techniques.

 Abstract

Cloud multimedia services provide a capable, flexible, and scalable data processing method and offer a elucidation for the user demands of high quality and diversify multimedia. Generally speaking, accessing multimedia video services through networks is no longer a problem. Multimedia information can be obtained easily using mobile devices and allowing users to enjoy network services everywhere. Video communication over mobile broadband networks today is challenging due to limitations in bandwidth and difficulties in maintaining high reliability, quality, and latency demands imposed by multimedia applications. The video quality version can only be manually selected by users and such decision can be error-prone. Considering the limited bandwidth available for different devices for mobile streaming this method could provide efficient self-adaptive multimedia streaming services for varying bandwidth environments.

 Abstract

Finding a parking place is a process very stressful for a person who would like to reach a specific place. Here, we present a Smart Parking Application that helps users to reach a parking slot, in a shopping complex or any other location that provides parking facility. Also we introduce a policy of converting plots of individuals who are willing to give their plots for revenue. Individuals can register in the application about their plot and no of vehicles which can be parked with a layout of the plot. We also introduce a pre-booking facility by which users can book their parking slot according to their wish. Users can book the slots before reaching the destination and a reporting time is also asked for reservation of the slot. Cancellation of the slot is done if the user is late by ten minutes and a cancellation charge is imposed. A real-time monitoring is also done for analysing the availability of the remaining slots so users can check the slots using the layout of the parking area in the application. Vehicle details is identified by a camera using image processing for reading the licence plate of the vehicle.During Registering in the application a QR-code is generated which is unique for each user. Check-in and Check-out to the parking area is done using the QR-code. Payment is done using a wallet or using Cash. A minimum balance of Rupees 30 is to be maintained for cancellation charges.

 Abstract

Women constitute around half of the total world population. They are therefore regarded as the better half of the society. In traditional societies, they were confined to the four walls of houses performing household activities. In modern societies they have come out of the four walls to participate in all sorts of activities. The global evidences prove that women have been performing exceedingly well in different spheres of activities like academics, politics, administration, social work and so on. Now they have started plunging into industry also and running their enterprises successfully. As an entrepreneur, a woman entrepreneur has also to perform all the functions involved in establishing an enterprise. These include idea generation and screening, determination of objectives, project preparation, product analysis, and determination of forms of business organization, completion of promotional formalities, raising funds, procuring men, machine and materials, and operation of business. Many women in the business face this problem. There is a widely ruling stereotype that a real leader should look manly. The purpose of this study is to find out the various challenges and barriers in woman entrepreneurship. Many women in business take this idea for granted and tend to look like their male counterparts. A woman entrepreneur is always an initiate, organize and run a business enterprise

 Abstract

The Guar or cluster beans (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) is an annual legume and the source of guar gum. This legume is a very valuable plant within a crop rotation cycle, as it lives in symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing bacteria. In fact, agriculturists in semi-arid regions of Rajasthan follow crop rotation and use Guar as a source to replenish the soil with essential fertilizers and nitrogen fixation before the next crop. About 80% of world production occurs in India and 70 per cent in Rajasthan. The present study was undertaken to survey the insect fauna associated with this crop in an agro-ecosystem situated in the Indian desert in Jhunjhunu district of western Rajasthan. The insect visitors were surveyed and collected every week from July to October. Cage net was used for insect collection. In all, 51 insect species belonging to 7 orders and 27 families were collected from the crop of which 6 were dominant, 25 were frequent and 20 were rare forms. Maximum density as well as diversity of entomo-fauna was noted in the month of July while October was the month which had minimum density and diversity of insects.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The Indian authorities need to adopt measures to protect the countrys poorest and most vulnerable people if COVID measures proves to be inadequate in nature .The lockdown by the order had hurt already disproportionately a lot of marginalized communities due to loss of livelihood and lack of food ,shelter, health and other basic needs. The government does have a sole responsibility to protect the health and well-being of the population , but some of these steps have left tens of thousands of out of work migrant workers stranded and left , with rail and bus services shut down. The blanket and sudden closing of state borders have caused disruption in the supply of essential goods, leading to inflation and fear of shortages. Thousands of homeless people are in need of protection. Police and prosecution actions to punish those violating orders have reportedly resulted in abuses against people in need. But in accordance with these the sole aim of the My dissertation is also to do the opposite analysis of the concerned topic,i.e.the whole topic completely revolves around both the sides of the concerned topic as well as it is in the sole aim of doing its analysis of the concerned topic with reference to multidimensional approach of socio-legal system.
