The concept is to develop a web application that can be used to manage and centralize, control most of the activities that can occur during the arts festival days. Slight modifications can migrate it from the category of 'arts festival' to any kind of competition that is conducted by a college or an institution, because in its core, the base of every competition follows similar procedures that contain; event schedule calendar, participant registering result tracking status, appeal filing, final result publishing, etc. In this way an educational institution can ease up the efficiency of managing the entire programme and reduce the workload and paperwork drastically. It also helps to avail and deliver information regarding the programmes to anyone. The presence of such web applications does make the background.

Some locally fermented foods have been associated with several microorganisms including Lactic Acid Bacteria(LAB) which have several potential health or nutritional benefits. Therefore, the aim of the study was to screen the locally fermented food condiments for predominant organisms for safe utilization. The fermented food condiments; fermented seeds of fluted pumpkin(ogiri) and African Oil bean seed(ukpaka) were utilized in this study. Isolation of various microorganisms were carried out using differential media such as mannitol salt agar, Macconkey agar, Salmonella shigella agar and De Man, Rogosa and Sharpe agar respectively. The developed colonies were subjected to phenotypic characterization such as macroscopic examination, Gram staining, biochemical tests and genotypic characterization. The phenotypic and genotypic characterization revealed the predominant isolates as Bacillus subtilis and Lactobacillus sp. Other isolates were Salmonella sp., Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The isolate, Bacillus subtilis has 92.01% pairwise similarity with Bacillus subtilis strain C3a-FIIRO with NCBI accession number MW577298. The obtained results proved the presence of beneficial LAB in the assayed fermented food condiments, hence safe for consumption.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a disorder in which the ovaries produce extra amount of androgens, which is a male sex hormones and usually present in women in less amounts. Polycystic ovary syndrome itself describes the multiple small cysts filled with fluid that forms in the ovaries. It causes irregular menstruation, acne, hirsutism, obesity and mood disorders. In today's society majority of women are suffering with PCOS, and it has become common cause of infertility in women. Exact cause of PCOS is not known it may be because of genetic tendency, environmental factors like- unhealthy food, drinks, lack of physical exercise etc. In this article we are discussing about PCOS, cause of PCOS, risk factor, complication, diet management and homoeopathic treatment. As homoeopathy works on dynamic plane and it stimulates body's self-healing power so medicine should be given on individuality of patient.

This study focused on investigating domestic violence within police households in BuruBuru Police Division. The motivation behind the study was the need for new interventions to address the persistent and increasing violence against women in these households, which was attributed to a lack of information on the issue. The study aimed to explore the forms and nature of domestic violence against women in police households, examine the factors contributing to such violence, and assess its effects on police families in the BuruBuru Police Division. The study utilized a cross-sectional descriptive study design and employed both probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques to select a sample size of 133 respondents from partners of male police officers. Additionally, eight key informants were interviewed to gather further insights. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics in the SPSS software package for quantitative data, while qualitative data underwent content analysis. Correlation analysis was used to test for associations and dependencies between study variables. The study found that domestic violence does occur in police households. The major forms of domestic violence identified were physical violence (48.5%), sexual abuse (56.6%), controlling or domineering behavior (42.4%), economic deprivation (41.4%), and intimidation (38.4%). Socio-economic factors were found to significantly contribute to domestic violence in police households (63.6%), impacting the mental health of police officers and the quality of their work. The study also highlighted that existing police disciplinary procedures may not be adequate to address this problem. Based on the findings, the study recommends implementing policies that incorporate conflict resolution mechanisms such as mediation, counseling, and outreach programs by government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). These interventions should specifically target the challenging task of reaching the population residing within police houses or police lines.

According to the recently released data by the National Crime Records Bureau, there has been a significant rise in the vulnerability of children, with a staggering 1.49 lakh cases of crimes against children registered in 2021. Out of the total six million crimes documented by the Indian police throughout the year from January 1st to December 31st, crimes against women accounted for 428,278 cases. The report highlights that the majority of the cases in 2021 encompassed offenses such as kidnappings, abductions, rapes, domestic violence, dowry deaths, and assaults. Ensuring the safety of women, children, and senior citizens has become a critical concern in today's society. The rise in crimes against these vulnerable groups necessitates immediate action to address the issue. This research paper proposes an alert system for social safety that utilizes commonly available electronic devices to trigger emergency alerts and provide immediate location information. The system aims to not only assist the victims but also alert nearby individuals and emergency contacts in real-time. The proposed system leverages a mobile application integrated with an IoT module, enabling users to activate the alert system by pressing a panic button or shaking their phone. Additionally, IoT devices can be used as an alternative means to trigger the alert. Once activated, the system sends the user's location coordinates along with a distress message and health details to their registered emergency contacts via telegram and individuals within a 500-meter range. The system also incorporates various features such as fall detection, blood pressure monitoring, Spo2 levels, heart rate monitoring, and body temperature sensing through the IoT module. The ultimate objective of this system is to ensure that victims receive timely assistance. Furthermore, future integration with other smart devices such as Bluetooth smartwatches is envisioned to expand the system's capabilities. The proposed system not only focuses on enhancing personal safety but also fosters a sense of community by alerting nearby individuals who can provide immediate help.

Anxiety is distinguished by a variety of somatic and autonomic symptoms, as well as a subjective sense of unease, discomfort, apprehension, or anxious concern. Anxiety is a common, emotional, reasonable, and expected response to risk, whether real or imagined. Parents have a lot of hopes for their children. When a family has a disabled kid, the parents often endure a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. This social mindset promotes conflict among family members, and marital relationships may deteriorate as a result of the strains of guilt, shame, blame, and blame-shifting. There is a need to think more carefully about the importance of establishing intervention programs that focus on the development of coping techniques to prevent or reduce parental anxiety, depression, and stress. This form of intervention is critical in preparing families to cope with these adversities, thereby improving the mental health and psychological well-being of parents and challenged children.

Graph theory is a branch of Mathematics that deals with the study of graphs, which are mathematical structures used to model relationships between objects. It consists of set of vertices and a set of edges that connect pairs of vertices. Vertex coloring is a fundamental concept that assigns colors to the vertices of a graph such that no two adjacent receive the same color. The minimum number of colors required to color the vertices of a graph is known as the chromatic number of the graph. An upper bound on the chromatic number of a Graph is a value that is guaranteed to be greater than or equal to the chromatic number. In this paper some common upper bounds for the chromatic number is studied.
