 Abstract

The concept of using living people to display clothing originated in the 19th century. English couturier Charles Frederick Worth is widely credited as the first designer to use live models to display his creations to clients, largely inventing the modern fashion show in 1858. Professional modeling involves navigating rigorous casting processes, relentless travel schedules during fashion months, and the constant balancing of the profession's glamorous exterior with the business of retail and garment fittings. The fashion models are facing new challenges nowadays as transition from live human models to AI models in fashion replaces traditional photoshoots with digital avatars. The need for live models in the fashion industry stems from their critical role in runway shows, showrooms, fittings, and brand activations. Live models bring garments to life through movement and real-time client interaction, which cannot be replicated by digital mockups. The fashion industry's live model segment is evolving rapidly, driven by the surge of real-time livestream shopping and the need for relatable, experiential marketing. The fashion industry is undergoing a digital and technological revolution, driven by the explosive growth of live-commerce and the rapid integration of artificial intelligence. Traditional live runway modeling is expanding to include shoppable digital broadcasts and AI avatars. Runway shows have moved beyond the physical realm. Events like Metaverse Fashion Week allow brands to dress 3D digital avatars in immersive, sustainable, and accessible formats. Augmented Reality (AR) and VTO applications have become baseline features for online fashion retailers. Consumers can now see how specific garments look on their own body type from home, decreasing the historically high return rates associated with online shopping. Research Objectives: o To explore the evolution of AI in fashion shows o To analyze the thoughts and behaviour of fashion models o To discover the Pros and Cons of AI in modelling industry

 Abstract

For most people with spastic cerebral palsy, physiotherapy is necessary to recover their ability to move. Stretching aids in loosening tight muscles, whereas strength exercises promote better muscle control. Practical skills are nurtured through daily practice exercises.' A few therapists use neurodevelopmental techniques to direct motor learning. The range of motion can be improved through serial casting over time when progress slows down. Using braces with orthoses can improve activity stability. Muscle response may be enhanced by functional electrical stimulation when used alongside exercise. The scarcity of studies focusing on neurodynamic methods in children with spastic cerebral palpitations persists, even when nerve-related limitations are the cause. Although some research has shown an increase in range of motion, stretch capacity, and movement ability with standard physical therapy, there are no solid clinical trials using random assignment. This is a rare finding. Although the benefits are conceivable, there is no clear evidence that can be drawn from the proof.

 Abstract

Sandhigata Vata is a Vata-dominant musculoskeletal condition described in Ayurvedic classics, characterized by joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and restricted movement. It shows close clinical resemblance to Osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disorder marked by progressive cartilage loss and inflammation. Among Panchakarma therapies, Jalaukavacharana (leech therapy), a form of Hirudotherapy, has been traditionally indicated for pain and inflammatory conditions. This article reviews the therapeutic relevance, mechanism, and clinical evidence of leech therapy in Sandhigata Vata/Osteoarthritis.

 Abstract

As generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) rapidly infiltrates banking, investment advising, and wealth management, making good financial choices is becoming more difficult (Dwivedi et al., 2023). Earlier research have examined technological adoption, robo-advisory use and financial literacy in isolation (Lusardi & Mitchell, 2014). However, few previous research have integrated AI literacy, financial literacy, perceived usefulness, trust and financial risk tolerance into a unified empirical framework that may explain the reasons why retail investors choose to use or not utilise AI-generated financial advice. This research addresses this gap by proposing and theoretically conceptualising an integrated model on the impact of AI literacy, financial literacy and perceived usefulness on financial decision making via trust and the moderating effect of financial risk tolerance on the strength of the trust-to-decision route. The eleven hypotheses test direct effects, mediation and moderation. They are based on the Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1989), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis, & Davis, 2003), the Theory of Planned Behaviour (Ajzen, 1991) and behavioural finance (Kahneman & Tversky, 1979). The proposed study approach is quantitative and cross-sectional. The final sample size is 468 retail investors and digital banking users. The sample was selected from 550 questionnaires that were originally given out and the minimal sample size was determined using the inverse square root approach for partial least squares structural equation modelling (Kock & Hadaya, 2018). Data will be collected using an online survey using a five-point Likert scale and processed using SmartPLS and IBM SPSS Statistics for partial least square structural equation modelling. The research also presents an analysis on a computer simulated data set (N = 468) that was generated to fit the hypothesised model prior to the collection of actual data. All eleven hypotheses are validated in this simulated demonstration: Trust partly mediates the links between AI literacy, financial literacy and perceived usefulness and financial decision making; and financial risk tolerance considerably moderates the trust-decision link. These phoney findings are just for demonstration reasons, actual responder data must be evaluated before they can be released. The work presents a theoretically grounded, testable model of AI-assisted financial conduct. It also provides good recommendations to banks and fintech businesses, to policymakers and private investors.

 Abstract

Background of the study: Malnutrition is a "man-made disease" which often starts in the womb and ends in the tomb. The impact of malnutrition on children is that they get recurrent infections and tend to be at greater risk for illness and death and often results in delayed mental development, poor school performance and reduced intellectual capacity.1 One effective strategy to reduce malnutrition is to educate mothers of malnourished children about its causes, management and preventive measures. Improving mother's knowledge and awareness can promote appropriate feeding and timely healthcare-seeking behaviour, thereby contributing to a reduction in the prevalence of malnutrition among children. Objectives: To assess the level of knowledge regarding malnutrition, management and its prevention among mothers of malnutrition childre, Dharwad district. To evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted instructional programme regarding malnutrition, management and its prevention among mothers of malnutrition children in terms of gain in post test scores. To find out an association between pre-test knowledge scores with their selected socio-demographic variables. Methodology: An evaluative study was conducted among 40 mothers of malnutrition children residing at rural areas of Tegur, Dharwad district. Non probability, purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. The data was collected using structured knowledge questionnaire. The research design used for the study was pre-experimental, one group pre-test post-test design. Results: The study results revealed that, majority of subjects in pre-test 08(20%) had good knowledge and 25(62.5%) had average knowledge and 07 (17.5%) had poor knowledge. Whereas after interactive session in post-test all of the subjects 40(100%) had good knowledge regarding malnutrition and its prevention. With regards to statistical association, there was an association between age and education of mother with their pre-test knowledge scores. Conclusion: The study concluded that the video assisted instructional program was effective in terms of gain in knowledge scores of the subjects regarding malnutrition, management & its prevention.

 Abstract

Pregnancy involves rapid physiological, hormonal, and psychological changes that require careful maternal care. Traditional Ayurvedic Samhitas outline protective lifestyle rules (Garbhini Paricharya), while classical Hatha Yoga texts provide physical postures (Asanas) and breathing exercises (Pranayama). While general prenatal yoga is known to be beneficial, a generic, one-size-fits-all protocol can introduce health risks if not modified for the distinct phases of gestation. This systematic review evaluates the therapeutic effects, medical uses, and clinical safety of trimester-specific Yogasana and Pranayama practices on both the mother and the developing foetus. The literature indicates that the first trimester requires restorative poses and cooling Pranayama (e.g., Bhramari, Sheetali) to reduce early anxiety, manage morning sickness, and lower cortisol levels to safeguard embryo implantation. The second and third trimesters require modified hip-openers, spinal stretches, and deep breathing (e.g., Marjariasana, supported Malasana, Nadi Shodhana). These advanced practices reduce gestational hypertension, alleviate lower back pain, improve umbilical artery blood flow, and encourage optimal head-down fetal positioning. Most notably, clinical evidence reveals that structured third-trimester yoga strengthens pelvic muscles and trains breathing control. This combination directly reduces labor pain, shortens labor duration, and lowers emergency Caesarean rates. Trimester-specific prenatal yoga is an effective, evidence-based therapy that bridges ancient Samhita wisdom with modern obstetrics. Standardizing month-by-month protocols can optimize maternal-fetal outcomes and provide safer frameworks for clinical integration.

 Abstract

Two novel Ni(II) and Cd(II) Schiff base metal complexes were synthesized by condensing the prepared Schiff base in a 1:1 molar ratio, using ethanol as a solvent under controlled conditions. The progress of the reactions and the purity of the synthesized compounds were monitored by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The obtained Schiff bases were characterized by solubility tests, melting point determination, FT-IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The compounds were found to be partially soluble in most organic solvents while remaining insoluble in water. The antimicrobial potential of the synthesized metal complexes was evaluated by the agar well diffusion method on agar medium against selected Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris, and Escherichia coli, along with the fungal strain Candida albicans, at100 mg/ml concentrations. The results revealed that the Schiff base metal complexes exhibited variable inhibitory activity against the tested microorganisms, indicating their promising antimicrobial properties
