Labour is one of the major resource in this labour intensive Indian construction industry. Due to the transient nature of our industry therefore there are no universally accepted standards to measure factors causing labour productivity loss in construction projects. Objective of this paper is to study factors affecting labour productivity of Autoclaved aerated concrete block masonry activity at construction site in Delhi/NCR, India. The identification and prioritization of the critical factors which affects labour productivity of blockwork activity will assist the project management team to leverage the limited resources at their disposal to improve the labour management on construction site, in order to improve labour productivity. Total 40 factors were identified with the help of work study method and divided into 8 main group as Material, Equipment, Tools & accessories, Labour, Site, Design, Management, and others factors group. The analysis of those 40 factors is considered in a questionnaire survey indicates the 10 most critical factors among all which are negatively affecting the labour productivity are : Inefficient crew composition, Design Complexity, Inexperienced or unskilled worker, no proper Supervision, Non availability of vertical shifting equipment, Unavailability of required material, Poor management of working space, Unclear or inadequate instructions to workers, Unavailability of required tool and No proper or safe scaffolding arrangement. Reliability analysis and validation of the acquired results is done with the help of live construction site in Delhi.

Indian cities are witnessing huge influx of migrating population from smaller towns and cities leading to population increase resulting in increase in property demand and land scarcity. As a result, High-rise residential project demand has been increasing in the Metropolitan Cities. The importance of construction industry in India has grown significantly but at the same time, construction projects in India have become infamous for delays and cost overruns. Construction delays are considered one of the most recurring problems in construction industry and has adverse effects on Projects success in terms of cost, time and quality. There are many research works conducted to identify various causes of delay in construction and their mitigation measure, yet the problem of delay continues to prevail. Indian metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai include higher number of Residential High-rise projects that have been witnessing delay of over 5 years. While most of the projects are executed conventionally with an emphasis on solving the problems as and when encountered, which eventually leads to delay, most of the delays can be prevented, provided due consideration are adopted in pre-construction stage to mitigate the risk of delays encountered during execution stage. The research aims at identifying the reasons of delay in pre-construction stage that are the root cause of various delays encountered during execution phase of Residential High-rise project. The research also intends to identify mitigation measures for the root causes of delay identified to prevent delays in construction project before the execution begin to prevent the risk of schedule overrun.

This study of insurance industry and identifies the strategies, challenges, obstacles and problems and implement strategies in life insurances offered. The most condemning fact that must immediately be remedied is the catastrophic expenditure incurred by the patient during the course of the treatment due to the out of pocket expenditure. However, the middle socio-economic group do have some access to the insurance plans, however, this does not hold true to the who are suffering from poverty. Hence, India is a long way from providing equal services to all its citizens even though it is their basic right. With the advent of liberalization, private players have forayed into the market of healthcare insurance. To study the current situation of the healthcare insurance industry of India by analyzing the secondary data obtained from a multitude of sources. .

Shear wall is one of lateral resisting structure which is used commonly. Shear wall gives high stiffness to the structure so as the structure will be stable. This will reduce the destruction comes from lateral loads such as an earthquake. Earlier studies showed that shear wall gives different performance based on its position in structures. The study focuses to see the effect of shear wall location in multi-storied building. A residential building of G+12 Storey structure having base dimension of plan 13.5m X 10.5m with typical floor height of 3m is considered. In this study G+12 storied building was modeled using software and four different cases were studied with different location of shear wall in building frame for critical parameters like displacement and base shear under lateral loading. The analysis has been carried out using the software SAP2000 for analysis equivalent static method and non-linear static analysis method is used here. Four types of models have been analyzed. It is found from this study that Model 3 shows best performance.

With this system what we are trying to propose is a real time face recognition attendance system, it would not only be capable of identifying the faces in an image but will also try to identify a person in the image. the overall objective is to identify the faces in a live stream of a video, i.e. the stream might come from a video recording (CCTV) or it can also identify the faces from a WEBRTC video stream. Today due to covid19 epidemic most of the interactions are being conducted online or via internet. This would also be a contact less authentication system if integrated with the suitable hardware WEBRTC today is being widely used in Real time communication because of the simplicity and performance. This system would provide interesting dashboard of the analysis done using ELK Stack which would be embedded in this application.

Abstract Nowadays overweight and underweight are two major problems in national and international scenario. The degree to which a person is overweight or underweight is generally described by his/her Body Mass Index (BMI). The researcher was intended herself to find out whether BMI influences academic achievement of the secondary school students. If there exist any relation between BMI and academic achievement, then students will remain conscious about their performance. Guardian and teachers can also make themselves aware about students body weight. BMI and academic achievement were considered as the variables of the study. The researcher selected 226 students of class IX and X from the district of North 24 Parganas of West Bengal as sample of the study. To measure academic achievement the researcher has considered the marks obtained by the student in their last examination passed. BMI was calculated from height and weight ratio of the students by Stadiometer and Weighing machine respectively. On the basis of statistical analysis and interpretation it was found that academic achievement is not influenced by BMI of the learners. Yet there was no correlation between BMI and academic achievement, students are recommended to maintain their BMI within normal value to prevent various health problems.

India, on attaining independence; subsequent steps were taken up to strengthen the economy of the country. It is unquestionable fact that economy forms the backbone for sustenance of any country. It is highly impossible for a country to do anything without a robust economy and economy is nothing but optimum management of resources of a country. The foundation for independent Indias economy was set in a planned sector which brought in its framework planned utilization and consumption of resources.. It was only at this time when the Monopoly and Restrictive Trade Practices Act; hereby referred as MRTP was passed with the following two objectives: a] to prevent the concentration of economic power in few hands that would thereby lead to monopolistic behavior and b] to curb the unfair and restrictive trade practices. The ulterior motive of the same was to protect the interests of the consumers. The present paper analyses the paradigm shift of the Competition Act from that of the MRTP. Further, the paper cites environment of effective implementation of the provisions of the Competition Act by the Competition Commission of India particularly with reference to cartels.. The paper concludes by analyzing the role of CCI by penalizing cement cartel for anti-competitive activities thereby establishing the effective ways the Competition Act has protected the interest of the consumers

Color Space Conversion is an integral part of various computer vision applications such as face detection, object detection and surveillance systems. To achieve ease in processing, feature extraction, compression and storage of image and video data color space conversion technique is required. If computation is performed on gray images, which has 8 bit wide pixel, rather than color images, which has 24 bit wide pixel the resources required for real time implementation of all these applications will be reduced. Reversible logic has received a great deal of attention from many researchers over recent years for its enormous potential for application in quantum computing and nanotechnology due to its ability to reduce power consumption, which is the main requirement in low power VLSI design. A color space conversion scheme using reversible logic gates is presented here. Color-to-gray scale conversion using reversible logic aims at embedding the chromatic information of a full color image into its gray scale version such that the original color image can be reconstructed in the future when necessary. Color Channel averaging method is implemented in this paper. By converting RGB to Gray scale using reversible logic it helps to increase the operation speed and reduce the storage space. Implementation of color space converter using reversible logic nullifies the internal energy dissipation as it provides a computation that does not result in information loss. The implementation of reversible logic circuits for converting RGB to Gray scale was done and the functionality verification was done on Spartan xc3s400 FPGA platform. The results are evaluated in terms of hardware utilization and power for FPGA.

Dental caries is the major oral health condition in developing countries, affecting 60-90% of the school children and vast majority of adults. In India, the prevalence of dental caries is reported to be 50-60%.MATERIAL AND METHOD: evaluative research approach and structured close ended questionnaire with Observational checklist .Statistical method: Student T test and chi-square test used. Result : The level of knowledge in pre-test majority of the respondent had average knowledge 52%, 40% of respondent had poor knowledge whereas 8% had good knowledge., whereas The level of knowledge of elder childs in post -test majority of the respondent had good knowledge 56%, 32% of respondent had average knowledge, whereas 12% had poor knowledge . The post test mean 9.84 is higher than the pre test mean 6.12 level of knowledge with standard deviation 2.48 and 2.27 respectively. This indicates that structured teaching programme was effective in increasing the knowledge of School going children in Govt. Secondary school Indore. There is no significant association between pre-test knowledge score of elder children regarding child to child programme on dental hygiene when compared to age, gender , source of information , no. of sibling except types of school of the elder children (the calculated value ?2= 12.40 and table value 9.49) at level 0.05level.
