ABSTRACT Rape is the most terrible crime which can be committed against a woman as it impairs her not only physically but also mentally. Nothing can bring complete relief to the rape victim but a fair and quick justice can make a significant difference in her life. Sadly there are many pending rape cases in our courts which act as catalyst to increase the suffering and pain of the victim and her family. Nevertheless, Speedy Trial is the essence of an effective criminal justice system. Right to speedy trial is also recognised as a fundamental right enshrined under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and fortunately there are many laws which speak about speedy justice to the rape victim. The problem of delayed trial occurs because these laws are not implemented properly and often the obsolete methods are used to conduct trial. In order to make the idea of rape free India a reality, an effective mechanism of fair and quick disposal of rape cases must be adopted, so that the innocent daughters of India who are already a victim of rape are not re-victimized by prolonged trials.

The article is based on research intended to understand the levels and areas of stress among 30 adolescent girls with visual impairment at secondary level studying in residential special schools in Mysore city, Karnataka State. Vision-specific distress is the strongest predictor of depression among students with visual impairment. The investigator collected the data using the Bisht`s Battery of Stress Scale, Bisht (1987); which was translated by the investigator and transcribed to Braille script. Results indicated that57% of students with visual impairment have a very high level of stress and 38% of students have an average level of stress. The participants have a high level of stress in six areas like achievement stress, academic stress, social stress, family, physical stress, and self-concept stress.

ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION: Swimming is one of the most exciting Olympic sports. The tournament competitive schedules of top swimmers and their training programs are arguably more severe than in any other sports. Training can improve the performance of the swimmers. To achieve the best possible performance, the training has to be designed according to the principles of periodization. The training-induced changes observed in various biochemical variables can be attributed to appropriate load dynamics. This would enable the coaches to assess the current status of an athlete and the degree of training adaptability and provide an opportunity to modify the training schedule accordingly to achieve the desired performance. PURPOSE: Considering the current literature, the purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of 8 weeks of swimming training on selected health-related physical fitness and bio-chemicals parameters of adult males. METHOD: 30 sedentary males, having no active sports life will participate in the investigation. All will be beginners in swimming. 30 samples will be divided into two equal and one group will be treated as an experimental group and the remaining will be treated as a control group. Swimming exercises will be done for totally 8 weeks, one hour a day, 5 days a week for the experimental group. Weight, height, BMI .health related fitness will be through the standard procedure, Vo2 max will be calculated through Fox Equation and Lipid profile and total protein will be clinically estimated before and after the training period. After collecting the pre and post-test data from both the groups, they will be statistically treated following the t test, and the level of significance will be .05 level of confidence. RESULTS: Within the limitations of the present study, the following conclusions were drawn 1. The BMI, Body fat%, serum cholesterol, Triglyceride, VLDL, and LDL of the subject was significantly decreased following 8 weeks of swimming training. 2. PEI, flexibility, strength, endurance, and HDL of the subject were significantly increased following 8 weeks of swimming training. Whereas, 3. FBS, Serum Albumin, and Serum Globulin remain unaffected following 8 weeks of swimming training.

Glyphosate demonstration in faba bean variety was conducted at Adigollo kebelle (Ofla district) in 2017 main cropping season to demonstrate the efficacy of herbicide to control orobanche weed. The herbicide chemical was applied using the improved Hashenge faba bean variety as treated and untreated (control) plots. The analysis of variance of O. crenata severity showed significant (p<0.05) difference on the orobanche number per square meter but no significant difference among orobanche severity, incidence and grain yield of faba bean variety. Moreover, the result indicated that the highest O. crenata number per plant (7) was observed in untreated Hashenge variety while the lowest (3.4) was recorded on the treated plot. Based on this, the treated plot of Hashenge variety with glyphosate was reduced by 49% O. crenata number than the untreated plot. The severity and incidence of orobanche on Hashenge variety inoculated with glyphosate was reduced by 53.33% and 21.79 % than the uninoculated plot of Hashenge variety, respectively. The Orobanche resistant variety, Hashenge treated with glyphosate, had 9.30% more seed yield than untreated plots and this management practice has to be popularized and scaled up/out to the orobanche infested areas of the Ofla district of the southern Tigray and other similar areas.

The case of Covid-19 in Indonesia on March 2, 2020, The number of people infected by Covid-19 continues to increase. The Government of Indonesia enacted a Large-Scale Social Restrictions policy that is regulated in PP Number 21 of 2020 as well as Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of2020 concerning Guidelines for Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the framework of accelerating the handling of Covid-19. Referring to the policy of the Central Government, the Provincial Government of East Java made Governor Regulation No. 18 of 2020 to limit the movement of the people of East Java, especially in public places. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of East Java community opinion in the Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions. The research method used is quantitative, with the sampling technique used is probability sampling. The results of this study are that the majority of respondents agree with the Large-Scale Social Restrictions as a step by the Central Government in breaking the Covid-19 chain. Community understanding of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions policy is also very high. However, community action in implementing health protocols according to standards set by WHO is still low. Besides, the implementation of large-scale social restrictions is considered by the community not to be applied consistently and is deemed to affect the community's economy. Aid was also assessed by the community as not all were distributed on target. The recommendations that can be made by the government are to implement the implementation of large-scale social restrictions consistently and distribute aid equally and on target.

India is a developing country and the current situation of the healthcare delivery system is not up to the mark. The study deals with the stepwise process of initiating and planning a tertiary care hospital. An attempt has been made to identify the processes, sub-processes, methods of calculation, tools to be used, standards to be referred, and stakeholders responsible behind each of the steps. To make the deliverables and responsibility of each stakeholder clear, a RACI matrix has been generated for both government and private hospital projects. But the infrastructure alone is not sufficient to solve the challenges prevailing therefore the challenges prevailing had been identified and suggestions have been given for improving the situation. A survey was also conducted to understand the challenges and to know the quality of services provided. The most unsatisfied facility in public, as well as private, was found out and a method to rectify it in the planning stage itself has been suggested.

Introduction: - In India volunteer curfew named as janta curfew was imposed on the evening of 23rd March 2020, lock down 1.0 was announced for 21 days without any prenotice. Students who are went different places for studies stuck at their place in the lock down. This situation is difficult for the students as there is no classes at the institution and they have to just stay in the hostel in this pandemic situation. Aim: - To evaluate and compare the psychological impact of lock down on students residing in hostels and homes of lock down and covid-19. Methodology: -An online link was generated and on which students have to fill a questionnaire, which was prepared by researcher with socio-demographic details. Results: - There are 208 responses which we get on our generated link between 29th March 2020 to 22nd April 2020. 100 of them were residing at home, 106 at hostel & 2 were at their relatives place. In total number of students residing in hostels and homes 38.5% of them were moderately impacted, followed by mildly impacted 33.7%, severely impacted 22.6% and least at no impact with 5.3% students. After applying Independent sample t-test we found that students residing in hostels (t=8.92, p=0.000) are significantly psychologically impacted more than students residing in home, there might be number of causes behind it.
