The aim of this current work was to formulation and evaluation of alginate beads to increase the sustain release action of repaglinide over the floating drug delivery systems. Method: These repaglinide alginate beads were formulated by dripping technique for the multiple division of floating formulation by means of polymeric drug and gas-forming agent. Drug and polymers were subjected for compatibility studies using FTIR. The formulated beads were characterized for particle size, percentage drug entrapment efficiency, scanning electron microscopy, in-vitro buoyancy and in-vitro drug release. Results: Percentage drug entrapment was revealed the range between 59.643.561 to 86.181.521. And in-vitro drug release was demonstrated to be 53.9970.297 to 72.8190.195. From the in-vitro drug release, it was indicated the enhancing of the concentration of sodium alginate with the drug that resulted in advance delayed of the drug release. Conclusions: The obtained results from the experiment were exhibited the better sustained action of the selected drug for the floating drug delivery in the form of alginate beads. It was also best fitted in Higuchi model.

Rising development activity in urban areas has basis for declining of raw materials used in construction activities. The palm oil industries often dumped palm kernel shells as waste products after the extraction of palm oil. It has been huge environmental problem due to this disposal of waste generated from palm oil industries. Present study is focused on partial replacement of coarse aggregate with Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) in Asphalt concrete. Laboratory test were carried out on aggregates, PKS and bitumen to study their properties. Softening point and Penetration value test were performed to measure consistency of bitumen. Tests on aggregates and PKS were carried out in two phases. In Phase I, physical tests such as bulk density, abrasion value, specific gravity, water absorption were conducted. In Phase II, Marshal Stability and flow value test were carried out by partial replacement of aggregate with Crushed Palm kernel shell (CPKS) in varying percentages of 5 %, 10 % and 40% and in different sizes of 10-15mm, 5-10mm, 5-15mm. The results for marshal stability tests were 15.14KN, 18.81KN, 22.97KN and flow value test were 4mm, 7mm, 12mm. Result of normal mould with 0% of CPKS replacement was 13.9KN and flow value 3.9mm. Standards set by Ministry of Road Transport Highways (MoRTH) for marshal stability test should be more than 8.2KN and maximum flow value should be 4 KN. The specific gravity of aggregates was found to be 2.51 and for CPKS 1.55. The Recommended result of specific gravity used in road construction should be less than 2.8. These test results revealed that CPKS can be used as a suitable material as partial replacement for aggregate in asphalt concrete up to 5% of size 10-15mm for rural roads of low traffic.

The article reviews some significant research trends in auxetic textiles. Auxetic textiles have been the focus of much attention due to their great promise for advanced protective clothing, flexible energy harvest devices, and functional textiles. Herein, plain fabric, basket fabric, and a derivative weave with the warp and weft yarns arrangement in a series of zigzags were prepared by incorporating different initial wrap density helical auxetic yarns in the weft direction using a commercial semi-automatic loom. The fabrication of auxetic fabrics by using conventional yarns and machinery has gained extraordinary interest from researchers in recent years. However, to date this approach has only been adopted to fabricate auxetic knitted fabrics and uni-stretch auxetic woven fabrics. This paper reports a study that aimed to develop a new class of bi-stretch woven fabrics with auxetic behavior using conventional elastic and non-elastic yarns, and available weaving machinery.

Noise removal is one of the basic task to be executed in image processing. Noise removal is an important task in medical images, satellite and GIS application. Keeping intact the edges and texture is crucial and important task while removing the noise. The smoother region should remain smooth and the edges and texture information should be preserved. Also it should be noted that no artificially generated artifact should be added in noise removal process. Different types of noise should be treated differently, also depending on the noise level. Many techniques has been developed so far starting from simple mean and simple median filter to recent advance techniques combining spatial and frequency domain methods. This paper critically examines and reviews methods in spatial domain fornonlinear filter such as median filter, bilateral filter, trilateral filter and nonlocal mean filter.

We first look at bilinear transformation where we considered it as a combination of the transformations of translation, rotation, stretching and inversion. And we finally see that inversion mapping is one-to-one and carries the class of straight lines and circles into itself. Which is property shared with translation, rotation and magnification. And we proceed to show that for a mapping w = f(z) to be conformal in any domain, it is necessary and sufficient that f(z) be analytic in that domain and that f'(z) ? 0 for all z in the domain, and also shows that a mapping which preserves the magnitude of angles but not necessarily the sense is non-conformal rather Isogonal.

Usool-e-sehat (principle of health) within the Unani system of medicine is agar sehat hai to uski hifazat ki jaay aur agar marz hai to uska azala kiya jaye (if there is health then preserve it and if there is disease then treat it). Duniya me jab dard/marz aaya to sath me dawa bhi aaee (there is medicine for disease during this world, not necessarily known to human). Its treatment depends on the knowledge of human that what proportion he knows health, diseases and its treatment/cure. According to Unani system of Medicine quwwat-e-mudafiat (immunity) is a real mualij (physician) or doctor who helps the quwwat-e-mudafiat to treat the diseases. Different methods like Ilaj bil ghiza (dietoyherapy), Ilaj bil tadabeer (regiminal therapy), Ilaj bil dawa (medicines), Ilaj bil yad (surgery), balance in Asbab-e-sittah zarooriya aur ghair zarooriyah. As these help in maintaining mizaj (temperament) and akhlat (humors) which help quwwat-e-mudafat / quwwat-e mudabbirah-e-badan. Person having good quwwat-e-mudafiat have less chances of getting ill as compared to those having weak quwwat-e-mudafiat. Unani System of Medicine provide holistic approach. Asbab-e-sittah zarooriya and ghair zarooriya, ilaj bil ghiza, ilaj bil dawa, ilaj bil tadabeer and ilaj bil yad etc., plays an important role within the enhancement of quwwate mudafiat, prevention and control of diseases. In this paper we will describe/highlight those measures which can be beneficial for quwwat-e-mudafiat and which can be helpful within the management of non-infectious (non communicable diseases or NCDs) and infectious (communicable diseases) specially in reference to COVID-19.

Amongst the numerous carriers rejected for aiming drugs to numerous body nerves, the cellular carriers encounter several standards required in clinical applications, among the most important being biocompatibility of carrier as well its dilapidation products. Leucocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, Nano erythrocytes, hepatocytes, and fibroblasts etc. have been proposed as cellular carrier structures. Among these, the erythrocytes have been the most explored and have found to own better potential in drug delivery. Bio-pharmaceuticals, intensely significant peptides and proteins, antigens, anticancer drug as well as vaccines, are among the freshly attentive pharmaceuticals for being transported using carrier erythrocytes. Erythrocytes, better known as red blood cells, and have been broadly studied for their potential carrier capabilities for the delivery of drugs. The biocompatibility, non-pathogenicity, non-immunogenicity and biodegradability make them unique and useful carriers. Carrier erythrocytes are prepared by gathering blood sample from the organism of interest and separating erythrocytes from plasma. Via some methods, the cells are fragmented and the drug is hooked on the erythrocytes, finally they are resealed and the resulting carriers are then called as "resealed erythrocytes". So many drugs like aspirin, steroid, cancer drug which having many side effects are decrease by resealed erythrocyte. Current review highlights erythrocytes, drug loading methods, in vitro characterisation, application, advantages as well as disadvantages of resealed erythrocytes for drug delivery.
