This "study examines the impact of socio-economic background on the identity, self-concept," and self-esteem of children in several areas of Assam. The research acknowledges childhood as a critical phase for psychological and social development, investigating the influence of parental income, education, and employment on these characteristics, while also analyzing gender disparities. A descriptive and inferential survey study approach was utilized, utilizing a self-constructed questionnaire delivered to a stratified random sample of 80 children's aged 14 to 17. Data were examined utilizing "descriptive statistics, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Independent Samples t-tests" with SPSS software. The findings reveal statistically significant differences in identity, self-concept, and self-esteem attributable to variances in parental socio-economic position. Higher parental income, education, and occupational position were specifically correlated with enhanced identity development and elevated self-concept and self-esteem in adolescents. Furthermore, significant disparities in gender were seen, as male individuals had superior scores in both identification and self-concept compared to their female counterparts. These findings highlight the essential influence of socio-economic factors on children's psychological development and stress the necessity for region-specific treatments, inclusive educational policies, and psychosocial support systems adapted to the socio-economic conditions of Assam.

Sports often serve as a powerful arena for exploring adult psychosocial development, highlighting struggles with identity, connection and purpose. The competitive nature of sports can intensify internal conflicts, such as the quest for self-worth or the fear of stagnation. Through victories and defeats, individuals navigate key psychosocial stages, shaping their emotional growth and life perspective. This paper explores the stages of psychosocial development in adulthood as depicted in Aravind Adiga's Selection Day, using Erik Erikson's theoretical concept, focusing on the four important adult stages. This study explores how adult characters grapple with internal conflicts and external pressures, shaping their development through the conflicts and resolutions at each stage of psychosocial growth. It delves into the emotional and psychological struggles of the adult characters as they confront the challenges associated with identity formation, emotional connection, personal contribution and self-reflection. By examining the characters' navigation through the crises of identity confusion, loneliness, stagnation and despair, the paper highlights how unresolved conflicts and societal pressures shape their growth. By investigating the characters' pursuit of athletic glory, personal validation and self-worth, this study highlights how sports serve as a metaphor for broader human struggles with identity, purpose and fulfilment. It reveals how the characters embody the complexities of self-discovery, relationships and the search for meaning, offering a profound reflection on human growth and the enduring impact of unresolved conflicts. Through this analysis, the paper demonstrates how the sports arena captures the complexities of adult development, providing a poignant commentary on human resilience and the lifelong quest for fulfilment.

: Acne vulgaris is a common dermatological condition that significantly impacts adolescents and young adults, often leading to permanent scarring and psychological distress. Traditional treatments, including antibiotics, face challenges due to rising antibiotic resistance. This study explores the formulation of an anti-acne cream using Neem and Clove Oil, known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and skin-healing properties. Aloe Vera and Tulsi are also incorporated for their moisturizing and radiance-enhancing effects. Neem helps reduce inflammation, skin irritation, and bacterial growth, while Clove oil targets acne-causing bacteria and soothes inflammation. Aloe Vera provides hydration and wound healing, and Tulsi improves skin radiance. This herbal cream offers a natural, effective alternative to synthetic acne treatments, addressing acne's physical symptoms and its psychosocial impact. Given the global prevalence of acne and the increasing concern over antibiotic resistance, this study highlights the potential of using natural bioactive compounds in acne management. The cream formulation aims to provide a holistic approach to acne care, promoting skin health while minimizing the risk of side effects commonly associated with conventional treatments.

Liver diseases remain a significant global health concern, contributing to substantial morbidity and mortality due to factors such as viral infections, alcohol abuse, and exposure to hepatotoxic chemicals. Conventional pharmacotherapies for liver disorders are often limited by adverse effects and incomplete efficacy, underscoring the need for safer and more effective alternatives. Medicinal plants have garnered increasing attention for their hepatoprotective potential, attributed primarily to their diverse phytoconstituents, including flavonoids, alkaloids, phenolics, and terpenoids. This review systematically compiles and critically examines the evidence supporting the hepatoprotective activities of various medicinal plants, highlighting their mechanisms of action--such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, membrane-stabilizing, and antifibrotic effects--as demonstrated in preclinical and, in some cases, clinical studies. Among these botanicals, Cosmostigma racemosum (family Asclepiadaceae) remains underexplored despite its traditional use and rich phytochemical profile. No comprehensive pharmacological studies have yet established its hepatoprotective efficacy. Therefore, this review not only synthesizes current knowledge of established hepatoprotective plants but also delineates the rationale for investigating Cosmostigma racemosum as a novel candidate. Future research into this species could reveal promising bioactive compounds capable of mitigating liver injury and enhancing hepatic function. Such investigations are expected to contribute significantly to the development of plant-based hepatoprotective therapeutics with improved safety and efficacy profiles.

Dyes have been an intriguing subject of matter and debate since its invention. Surely, it has many advantages and its usage is wide in the fields of chemistry, biology, & day-to-day life. However, there are yet; many disadvantages and the most dangerous one is its toxic nature. Modern synthetic dyes are made from chemicals which include many toxins that might harm human life and the surrounding environment. The extensive use of dyes in fabric products is also an upsurge and it's a developing problem. Yet, not many researches have been performed to target its authenticity and safety. Even when forensic scientists compare dyes and create report or analyse individual components of dyes, it is important to extract it out safely from easy methods. My research deals with finding fast, efficient and easy method to extract fabric dyes from clothes. Fabric dyes are of many types and each different type has its own method of extraction. I have used Hot Alkaline Extraction Technique to extract dyes from cotton and polyester fabrics through different reagents and solvents and found the best reagent and solvent combination to extract the dye efficiently. My comparative analysis gives us suitable methods and best method for specific variety of clothes and helps in giving fast as well as efficient extraction tool for fabric dye extraction. My basic research question was to find the best suitable and efficient tool for extraction of fabric dyes and determine the best reagent-solvent combination for the same. The secondary objective was to perform heavy metal and toxin test on the dye obtained to qualify the substances which might be harmful and present in the dye. Subsequently, TLC has also been done to get results of suitable mobile phase and Rh Factor.
