Abstract: The requirement of energy for human being in the planet earth is increasing day by day. The major source of energy is based on fossil fuel only. Thus, the scarcity of fossil fuels, rising price of petroleum based fuel, energy protection and increased global warming resulted in focusing on renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, tidal and biomass worldwide. Bioenergy is one of many diverse resources available to help meet our demand for energy. It is a form of renewable energy that is derived from recently living organic materials known as biomass, which can be used to produce transportation fuels, heat, electricity, and products. The major forms of bio energy is biopower or electricity generated by the combustion of biomass, biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation of different forms of organic matter and biofuels (biothenol, biodiesel, etc). The feed stock sources used for the production of bioenergy are the forest based, agriculture based and municipal waste based. There are three Technologies used for the conversion of feed stock into bio energy i.e.thermal, chemical and biochemical processes. In the recent years, India has become a pioneer in climate protection and is one of the few countries to have performed exceptionally on the mitigation goal of NDCs. In order to promote bio energy in the country a national policy on bio energy was made by Ministry of new and renewable energy during the year 2009 and also its amendment in 2018. It was supposed that India will bring its non fossil base energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030 and full fill 50% of energy requirement through renewable energy, and roduce carbon intensity of its economy by more than 45%. The aim of the policy are to reduce import dependency, cleaner environment, MSW management, employment generation, infrastructural investment in rural areas and additional income to the farmers. . In this paper bioenergy and its forms, conversion technology, social, economic, ecological, and environmental impacts of bioenergy, and challenges in sustainable bioenergy production are discussed. Various bioenergy policies and programs introduced to accelerate bioenergy in India in past years are emphasized in the paper.

One of the most discussed and proven techniques in Ayurveda surgery is Ksharasutra. Currently, it is the answer to some of the surgically treatable disease(s) which have high recurrence rates post-surgery especially in diseases like Pilonidal sinus. Ksharasutra finds its place even in international surgical texts. The surgical approach of pilonidal sinus is based on the removal of causative factors which include complete radical excision of the track. Post-operatively patients will have severe pain, and discomfort, need a long hospital stay, and require prolonged dressings along with antibiotics. Recurrence is very common even with adequate excision of the tract and proper surgical wound management. Complications include post-op infection, wound dehiscence, and seroma can be seen along with the recurrence. In the past two decades, various types of research have been carried out on Kshara and Ksharasutra. As a treatment modality for Pilonidal sinus (ShalyajanadiVrana), the application of Ksharasutra has been explained in Sushruta Samhita and Chakradatta. Recent researches aim to produce Ksharasutra out of available Kshara drugs. One such combination is Guggulu-based Palashaksharasutra. Guggulu can be used as a base material and is slowly replacing Snuhiksheera due to its availability, affordability, and analgesic action. Palasha also is abundant and thus tops the list of kshara drugs. This clinical study conducted on 50 subjects of ShalyajaNadiVrana(Pilonidal sinus) treated with Guggulu-based PalashaKsharasutra showed significant statistical results concerning Pain, discharge, tenderness, and length of the tract

ABSTRACT: This study presents a Cropping Intensity with related to different physical and socio-economic factors in Birbhum District. The diversified nature of land use pattern, cropping intensity, irrigation intensity and cropping pattern of all blocks have increased the cropping intensity of the land. Cropping Intensity plays an important role in the agricultural development of any region. The study area is characterized by lateritic features and riverine features. The study area observed that Cropping Intensity highest in Nalhati-II block is 229.9195 and lowest in Rajnagar block is 112.3470 in 2015. Irrigation is considered as driven elements that both surface and groundwater sources have almost equal important to the development of Cropping Intensity in this districts

The transition of anthropocentrism is interrelated to the evolution of culture and civilization. The contemporary age is torn between the movements of Anthropocene and Environmentalism and it is hard to strike a chord of balance between the two developments. If anthropocene focuses on human centeredness, environmentalism reaffirms the need to protect ecology as top priority. Amitav Ghosh's novel The Living Mountain published in 2022 takes the reader on a unique insightful journey exploring how the neo-imperials continue to find newer destinations to exploit nature and its resources. The present study examines the impact of anthropocentrism over people and their native habitat, and of the ultimate realisation that in order to survive humans need to re-think their priorities and change their lifestyle by embracing environmentalism.

Abstract: Socio-economic factor plays an important role on human capital formation by the parents for their children. The children's knowledge, skills, habits and moral values are influenced by the parents and families who support and motivate their children. The socio-economic factor is the social class of an individual or a group. The socio-economic factors play a vital role on their children's education, stability, and health and nutrition value. This factor is frequency measured on the basis of the educational level, the employment status and the income of the family. The socio-economic factors like that the parental education level, their employment states and their income level are influencing the higher secondary school student's enrolment rate. Girls have lower enrolment rate than boys in most of the developing countries including India. It reduces human capital which subsequently has negative impact on country's economic growth. Despite the various women's movement and government policies. There is a significant gender gap in Indian education system at all levels. The gap is wider in higher secondary education. During their higher secondary education females face many problems and challenges in their families as well as in schools. Sometimes these problems may result in discontinuation of girl's education. It is therefore a requirement that these problems should be discussed and controlled to increase the participation of girls in secondary and higher secondary education.

Cognition is critical for functional independence. Cognitive impairments, particularly in the old age are pervasive and occur because of both normal and pathological senescence. Engaging in dual task training appears beneficial in increasing cognitive resistance to degenerative processes in the brain in older adults. Dual task training (DTT) by combining motor and cognitive activities causes improvement in various domains of cognition.

Every culture or society is the sum total of its individuals. The society is the reflection of the perspectives, faith and beliefs of an individual. Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" is a remarkable example of the portrayal of the positive and negative elements in a society, and also of how a clash between them can lead to the disintegration of a culture. Achebe has presented the Igbo society in a very realistic manner. Achebe develops the theme of traditional verses change through a powerful presentation of the beauty, strength, and validity of traditional life and values and the disruptiveness of change. The change in this novel comes with the advent of the missionaries, and this interference in the primal society of Umuofia leads to the collision between the good and the evil, the black and the white. This paper is an attempt to describe the culture of the Ibo, an ethnic group that reside in South-East Nigeria, and the conflicts and challenges they face when Europeans arrive and attempt to colonize their society.

Goods and Services Tax devotedly known as GST was introduced on 1st July, 2017. The major purpose of incorporating GST was to digitize indirect tax compliance, to make the process simpler and attain an effective rise in the collection of tax. GST was implemented on the notion of "One Nation, One Tax". This single indirect tax has subsumed many indirect taxes of center and states. The process of digitization in India had begun with the spreading out of digital payments. GST has been recognized as one of the most revolutionary digitization brought about by the indirect tax regime. The digitization of tax compliances was first implemented with direct taxes. Later on, GST was brought about to digitize and unify the indirect tax system. There still exist certain issues and difficulties in implementation of GST effectively. This paper shall be an attempt to find out such issues and implementation difficulties.
