The 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections had a considerable impact on both the political climate of the state and Indian national politics. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is now in power, is being opposed by the Congress party both at the state and federal levels. Election results were significantly influenced by the socio-political environment of Karnataka, which is characterised by a diversified population, linguistic population, caste affiliations, and religious identities. The leadership struggle and subsequent appointments, which were the result of internal dynamics inside the Congress party, emphasised the difficulties in balancing aspirations and party cohesion. The swearing-in event symbolised the formal assumption of power and set the tone for the new administration's aims and agenda. The effects of the Karnataka elections go beyond the election itself; instead, it is the acts and governance that follow that will have a true impact on the welfare and development of the state.

This research examines the use of language identity in Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart. It aims at analyzing the roles and significance of the Igbo and African context as well as their application to achieve a unique language identity that can be traced to a cultural base. Widely recognized as "the father of the African novel in English", a label that has endeared him to many critics, Achebe is one of the most prominent writers in Africa with a literary vision that has strongly influenced the form and content of modern African literature. We shall see in this research how Achebe has been able to enrich his narrative and engage the readers in continuous affection and a profound understanding of the rich Igbo culture through the use of proverbs and a unique linguistic style. This peculiar linguistic behavior that gives Achebe's writing a distinctive flavor has largely been responsible for his success as a writer. In this research, proverbs are studied as one of the many indices of language utilized in constructing identities in Achebe's Things Fall Apart.

This paper implements a symmetric hybridized cascaded multilevel inverter for 17 level. The symmetric hybridized multilevel inverter topology consists of a modified H-bridge inverter, which results in an increase in the output voltage to five level from the three level by using a bi-directional switch at the midpoint of a dual-input dc source. The proposed topology with the staircase modulation technique has been verified using MATLAB-SIMULINK. The results of the proposed topologies are experimentally obtained for steady state, and the performance of the same is tested under different resistive and inductive load disturbance conditions. The results substantiate that these multilevel inverter topologies are better stabilized during load disturbance conditions with low total harmonic distortion, a lesser number of switches, and increased output voltage levels, and these topologies well suit for renewable energy applications.

Due to the limited availability of enviourmental things the manufacturing of cement in manufacturing industry are very difficult and intricate process and this review paper is basically the summary to know how to increase the amount of granulated blast furnace slag as aggregates in the cements. As we know main component of concrete is cement. In the present study, granulated blast furnace slag which is a by-product of steel manufacturing plant is used by replacing partially and completely for different type of fine materials which is either manufactured or naturally obtained (about 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% fine material).Characterizations of materials were carried out to know the properties and behaviour of material as block during its fresh and hardened state. Dimensionality, Compressive strength, Water absorption and Block density tests were carried on hardened blocks as per Indian Standards to evaluate the usage of blocks. The main objective is to the intensification of interest towards the utilization of wastes and industrial by-products in block manufacturing unit.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common disorder that affects women of reproductive age. PCOS is associated with a higher risk of mental health problems. Women with PCOS may face unique challenges in their resilience, emotion regulation, and experiences in close relationships. The present study aims to establish the comparison between women with PCOS and without PCOS in their emotion regulation, resilience, and experiences in close relationships. The sample consisted of 100 women (50 with PCOS, 50 without PCOS) who are between 21-30 years and in a premarital relationship. The Brief Resilient Coping Scale (BRCS) is used to assess resilience levels, The Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) is used to assess individual differences in emotion regulation strategies, and The Experiences in Close Relationships Scale (ECR-S) is used to assess attachment style in close relationships. An Independent Sample T-test is used to analyze the data. The results indicated that there is a significant difference in the levels of resilience of women with and without PCOS. Another major finding of the research suggested that in both the facets of Emotion Resilience: Cognitive Reappraisal and Expressive Suppression, there was a significant difference between both groups. Finally, our third variable, Experiences in Close Relationships measured the attachment styles: Anxiety Attachment Style and Avoidant Attachment Style, it was revealed that women with PCOS have higher levels of avoidance attachment style, whereas no significant difference in anxiety attachment style.

Water is a crucial resource and has a wide range of applications. Water is essential for the sustainability of life on planet Earth. From bathing to cooking, water is used in almost every activity we perform on a daily basis. Earth is covered by almost 70% water but not all of it is useable and safe for utilization. Only about three percent of Earth's water is freshwater. Of that, only about 1-2 percent can be used as drinking water; the rest is locked up in glaciers, ice caps, and permafrost, or buried deep in the ground. Most of our drinking water comes from rivers and streams. In our constantly developing world, the increased rate of pollution and urbanization have started to contaminate the water supply making it unfit for drinking. Thus, a water quality monitoring system is needed to monitor and forecast its quality, and safeguard human health. To perform this task a system is developed using the popular Python programming language which helps to calculate the quality of water based on the readings taken from various sensors. We use an Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model to monitor water quality.

In this paper we implement a smart security system using a camera via ip with an ultrasonic sensor module to enhance the intruder al The Ultrasonic Intruder Detector with ESP32 camera project is an upgraded version of the Ultrasonic Intruder Detector that integrates an ESP32 camera module to provide visual confirmation of intruder detection. The system is designed to detect motion using ultrasonic waves and then captures images of the detected intruder using the camera module. The captured images are then sent to the owner's smartphone for immediate notification of the intrusion. The ESP32 camera module also allows the owner to remotely monitor the security of their property via a mobile. The system is easy to install, and has high accuracy in detecting intruders. This project provides an efficient and reliable solution for enhancing the security by providing both audio and visual confirmation of intruder detection.

Postmodernism in Indian English Literature refers to the literary works produced after 1980. While Raja Rao's "Kanthapura" (1938) represents modernism, Salman Rushdies "Midnights Children" (1981) and Nissim Ezekiel's "Latter-Day Psalms" (1982) signify the emergence of postmodernism. Chetan Bhagat, an influential figure in contemporary India, has gained recognition as a prominent writer in the realm of postmodern fiction. Although he may not have received prestigious awards, his name is widely recognized among college students throughout India. While the global literary scene often focuses on India's past, Bhagat has successfully embraced the present and captivated readers with his humorous yet gritty portrayals of life's realities. Through his writing, he has brought about a revolution in postmodern literature, reflecting its essence. Bhagat believes that literature serves the purpose of showcasing society, and this paper aims to demonstrate and justify why he is considered a postmodernist writer, drawing evidence from his works.

Iodine is an important micronutrient that is required for the synthesis of the thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). The diet is the primary method ofachieving adequate iodine nutrition, with dairy products, some breads, seaweed and other seafood, and iodized salt as the most common iodine-containing foods. Adolescents and adults require iodine in amounts of 150 ?g/day, with higher amounts required during pregnancy and lactation. After digestion and absorption, the released iodine enters the plasma iodine pool and can be taken up again by the thyroid gland or excreted by the kidney. Iodine deficiency is the main cause of endemic goiter, but exposure to environmental pollutants and ingestion of certain dietary substances (goitrogens) can additionally interfere with iodine uptake into the thyroid to aggravate this effect. Finally, iodine ingestion greater than the recommended upper tolerable intake limit (1100 ?g/day) increases the risk iodine deficiency
