 Abstract

Accident detection is an essential application in intelligent transportation systems for the safety of drivers and passengers. In recent year, deep learning based objects detection models have shown significant improvements for detecting objects in real-time. YOLO (You Only Look Once) is one such model that has gained popularity due to its real-time performance and high accuracies. In this paper, we propose an accidents detection system using YOLOv3, a state-of- the- art version of YOLO. The proposed system is designed to detect three types of accidents, namely vehicle rollover, rear-end collision, and head-on collision. The system uses a pre-trained YOLOv3 model which is trained on the COCO dataset, which is then fine-tuned on a custom dataset of accident images. The proposed system achieves an average precision of 0.94 for vehicle rollover detection, 0.93 for rear-end collision detection, and 0.92 for head-on collision detection. The system also shows promising results in terms of real-time performance, with an avg processing time of 0.03 seconds per frame on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU. The proposed system can be also integrated into intelligent transportation systems which provides real-time accident detection and alerting, improving the safety of drivers and passengers on the road.

 Abstract

The shampoo sector is probably the largest unit among the hair care products. Shampoos are one of the cosmetic products used daily as the hair is a special and cherished feature of human being which beautifies the look of every individual. Day by day dependency of people is raising on herbal formulations not only for a chronic ailment but also for several acute problems. The assurance therapy with minimal side effects has been proven with ayurvedic formulations. In the scenario of changing food habits, stress, and dependent environment conditions, several hairs and skin disorders are encountered. In case of hair disorders like dandruff, hair fall, dull hair, split ends, etc, a proper selection of ayurvedic ingredients with the required amount, the dosage form can be formulated to fight against hair problems. This polyherbal shampoo was formulated by using natural ingredients like Aloe vera (Barbadensis miller), Neem leaves (Azadirachta indica), Reetha fruit (Sapindusmukurossi), Shikakai (Acacia concinna), Amla fruit (Emblica officinalis), Hibiscus leaves (Hibiscus rosa- sinensis) with proven efficacy. The combination of such ingredients has made it possible to secure highly effective dry powder shampoo. The formulation at laboratory scale was evaluated for several organoleptic properties, general powder characteristics and physicochemical evaluation to ensure the safety and efficacy .

 Abstract

Background: Trapezitis is an inflammation of the trapezius muscle caused due to stress, tension, repetitive movements, bad posture, etc. causing severe muscle spasm and pain. According to a study, neck pain mean lifetime prevalence is of 67% to 87%. The Bowen Technique is a hands-on-therapy developed by Thomas Ambrose Bowen. This technique works on the soft connective tissues (fascia) of the body and resets and balances the autonomic nervous system and stimulates several intrafascial mechanoreceptors that affect muscle tonus and increase vagal tone. It can be used to treat several musculoskeletal or related neurological problems. Muscle Energy Technique is a type of osteopathic manipulation method that uses patient initiated voluntary muscle contraction of different intensities, in a precise direction and against a counterforce. It is used to improve musculoskeletal function, joint function, and improving pain. Objective: 1. Aims to find the effect of Muscle Energy Technique on pain assessed using Visual Analogue Scale in young adults with acute unilateral trapezitis. 2. Aims to find the effect of Muscle Energy Technique on disability assessed using Neck Disability Index in young adults with acute unilateral trapezitis. 3. Aims to find the effect of Bowen Technique on pain assessed using Visual Analogue Scale in young adults with acute unilateral trapezitis. 4. Aims to find the effect of Bowen Technique on disability assessed using Neck Disability Index in young adults with acute unilateral trapezitis. 5. Aims to compare the effect of Muscle Energy Technique Versus Bowen Technique on pain and disability assessed using Visual Analogue Scale and Neck Disability Index respectively in young adults with acute unilateral trapezitis. Method: Study begun with the presentation of synopsis to an ethical committee in PES MCOP. An approval was granted from the ethical committee. 60 subjects were selected on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Pre-treatment Neck Disability Index (NDI) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores were taken. 60 subjects were divided into two groups. On the basis of arrival of the subjects, all even numbers were allotted to Group-A - Muscle Energy Technique and all odd numbers were allotted to Group- B - Bowen Technique. Each group received 6 sessions (on alternate days) of the respective technique over 2 weeks. Post-treatment NDI and VAS scores were taken. Data was entered and statistically analyzed. Results: Statistical analysis of the pre and post treatment scores of NDI and VAS values of Group A and Group B revealed that there was significant effect of both the techniques but on comparing post treatment VAS & NDI scores of both the groups, subjects treated by Bowen Technique (Group B) showed more improvement than subjects treated with Muscle Energy Technique (Group A). Conclusion: This study concluded that Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and Bowen Technique both are effective on neck pain and neck disability, but on comparing, Bowen Technique (Group B ) has proved to be more effective than MET (Group A) in young adults in treating acute unilateral trapezitis.

 Abstract

The research aimed to produce an herbal facial scrub. The use of natural components in a facial scrub is a great way to promote healthy skin without exposing it to harsh chemicals. Coffee is indeed a great source of antioxidants and can provide exfoliating properties. Nutmeg is also known for its antibacterial properties, while masoor dal and rice flour can provide gentle exfoliation. The addition of glycerin can help to moisture and soothe the skin. it's important to note that before any skincare product is used, it should be patch tested on a small area of the to ensure that, there are no adverse reactions. Additionally, it's recommended to consult with a dermatologist before introducing any new skincare products into a routine, especially if there is any underlying skin condition. Overall, it's great to see research being done on natural and safe skincare alternatives.

 Abstract

Every successful endeavour begins with a vision but is rarely in focus; India's biggest phase of evolution towards development is obscure with the nation's stark diversities staring at it. It is undeniable that India has demonstrated its resilience by achieving notable economic booms, despite the deficits of 1991, 2008, 2012, and 2021. However, the jewel in the crown has been the last decade of the Indian Economy where we witnessed a significant amount of uprising in innovation and a huge surge of start-up companies despite the structural challenges, everlasting endeavouring corruption, diminished social welfare, and standard of living. It is critical to recognize that India's development journey is complex and multifaceted, influenced by components like demographic dynamics, regional disparities, socioeconomic inequalities, and so on. And while these differences come with unique challenges, they also present tremendous possibilities for inclusive growth and sustainable development. This research paper on "Wealth and Income inequality in India" dives into the difficult subject of diversity in India, seeking its effect, causes and consequences. The study reveals the stark truth of ingrained disparities in income in India by exposing concentrated wealth ownership and an alarming gap in wealth and income status, where a small proportion of the population enjoys a significant proportion of the nation's resources. Furthermore, this study paper emphasizes the deteriorating trend of inequality, which is being pushed by a confluence of socioeconomic variables such as globalization, technological improvements, and uneven access to opportunities

 Abstract

India is an agriculture based country, farmers need adequate resources to replenish soil fertility and maintain the productivity of soil. Really, the green revolution has popularized the use of chemical fertilizers to achieve higher productivity. In the recent days Crop production through sustainable methods in agriculture become the need of the day as there is a growing concern to conserve the environment and make the earth last longer for future. But due to continuous and indiscriminate use of fertilizers, the natural fertility of soil has been lost and this activity has contaminated our soil, water and food. Farmers are always in need of searching alternative to replace the chemical fertilizers. By considering all the aspects of fertilizer applications and more productivity constant search of farmers for manures and fertilizers which are eco-friendly and biodegradable is going on. Sustainable agriculture has become important in the present days. Fertilizers are any material of natural or synthetic origin that is applied to soil or to plants tissue (usually leaves) to supply one or more plant nutrients to the growth of plants. They play important role in increasing crop productivity and commonly used for all crops, application rate are depends on the soil fertility. Based on production process, the fertilizer can be categorized into three types: Chemical, Organic and Bio-fertilizers. The use of these fertilizers has its advantages and disadvantages in the context of nutrients supply, crop growth and environmental quality by considering importance of yield efforts has been taken to observe the effects of various grades of UREA, Potash and Vermiwash on the various growth parameters on Brassica nigra L.

 Abstract

The unexpected depletion of conventional energy assets is the cost of urbanization and improvement in today's global world. The value of these power sources reaches its maximum. due to the lack of land resources, urban areas become concrete jungles with tall buildings pushing up, densely populated large consumers of traditional electricity sources that change the natural environment. This dense population and hastily working conventional sources of electricity are the cause of rising energy prices at alarming charges. Dealing with this problem is an inexhaustible number of pollutants released and easy energy sources like solar electricity as a boon to mankind. This article is an in-depth look at the field of solar electricity technology with the help of photovoltaic cells and the automatic software known as PVsyst and its evaluation after setup. Power, calculations, losses, and various parameters are calculated after installation on the south-east wall of APCOER building, Parvati Pune, Maharashtra, India.
