Our study focused on formulating and evaluating a herbal face pack as a natural skincare solution. We carefully selected herbs known for their beneficial properties and combined them to create the face pack. Through a series of tests and trials, we assessed its quality, safety, and effectiveness. Our findings indicate that the herbal face pack offers promising potential for nourishing and rejuvenating the skin. It demonstrated good safety profiles and showed efficacy in improving skin health and appearance. The quest for effective and natural skincare products has led to the study of many botanical compounds known for their therapeutic properties. The combined health advantages of sandalwood, cinnamon, turmeric, neem leaf, are investigated in this study. . It contains bioactive ingredients like vitamins, minerals, and polysaccharides that could be good for your skin's condition. Neem leaves are a crucial part of therapies for skin infections and for clearing up the complexion since they possess both antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, cinnamon may help improve blood flow and reduce inflammation of the skin. Turmeric has long been used to lighten skin because of its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Abstract :Mosquito repellents may effectively protect humans from vector-borne diseases as well as other problems caused by mosquitoes. Vectors are the organisms that transmit a parasite orpathogens from one infected person to another causing serious infections. According to the WHO, every year deaths due to vector-borne diseases account for over 17% with more than one billion cases and over one million deaths. In the Indian scenario, malaria, dengue, chikungunya, filariasis ,encephalitis, and kala-azar are of major concern. National Vector-Borne Disease Control Program data of 2012 indicated that 50% of total malaria cases are due to Plasmodium falciparum.

Ethanol has been part of alcoholic beverages for long time, but its application has expanded much beyond that during the20th Century. Much of the recent interest is in the use of ethanol as fuel. Ethanol produced by fermentation, called bioethanol, accounts for approximately 95% of the ethanol production. It is recently widely used as an additive to gasoline. Corn in the Unites States and sugarcane in Brazil are widely used as raw materials to produce bioethanol. Cellulosic materials are expected to be the ultimate major source of ethanol and also represent a value-adding technology for agricultural coproducts. While bioethanol is considered as a sustainable energy source, it requires further purification for uses other than fuel. The most common purification technique utilized in the ethanol industry is rectification by further distillation. However, distillation has critical disadvantages including high cost and limited separation capacity. Several alternatives have been proposed to replace distillation such as non-heating fractional distillation by ultrasonic irradiation, oxidation of impurities by ozone, and adsorption of impurities by activated carbon or zeolite. Chemical and sensory analyses are used to determine the quality of alcohol and to optimize various steps in production. have been developed for chemical analyses. addition of ethanol to gasoline to boost octane is an alternative to more severe refining operations making ethanol one of the most cost-effective octane enhancers available to the refiner and blender to

Alice Walker is an African-American literary luminary and is renowned for her passionate advocacy for social change. Her literary works intricately weave historical narratives, shedding light on themes of justice and equality. Through characters like Celie in "The Color Purple", Walker vividly portrays the enduring wounds inflicted by slavery, unravelling the intricate web of race, gender, and socio-economic disparities. In "In Search of Our Mothers' Gardens," Walker delves into the Civil Rights Movement, illustrating the collective struggle for equality and justice. Through her storytelling, she illuminates the resilience and solidarity of those who fought against oppression. Walker's feminist perspective challenges traditional gender roles, empowering characters like Shug Avery to assert their autonomy and defy societal constraints. By presenting strong, complex female characters, she underscores the importance of women's agency in shaping their own destinies. Furthermore, Walker integrates indigenous wisdom into her narratives, emphasizing the significance of cultural healing and reclaiming ancestral heritage. In "Possessing the Secret of Joy," she explores the devastating impact of colonialism and cultural trauma, advocating for the restoration of indigenous cultures and traditions. Ultimately, Walker's narratives serve as pathetic reflections of historical injustices, urging readers to confront systemic inequalities and strive for a more equitable future. Through her reminiscent storytelling, she inspires hope and resilience, encouraging readers to actively engage in the pursuit of social justice and collective healing.

Adolescents often lack adequate knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), which can lead to increased risk of infection and adverse health outcomes. Effective educational interventions are essential to improve their understanding and promote safe practices. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a planned teaching program on the knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among adolescents in NSVK PU College, Bangalore. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was employed. Sixty adolescents from 1st and 2nd Pre-University (PU) classes were selected using a convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using a demographic proforma, a structured questionnaire, and a planned teaching program. Demographic variables such as age, gender, and religion were analysed. The study revealed a significant improvement in knowledge levels post-intervention, demonstrating the effectiveness of the educational program. Statistical analysis confirmed that the teaching program significantly enhanced the participants' understanding of STDs. The planned teaching program was effective in increasing the knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents at NSVK PU College, Bangalore. Educational interventions are crucial in addressing knowledge gaps and promoting healthy behaviours in this demographic.

Circular airport design presents a compelling solution to address the persistent challenges of airport congestion and inefficiency. This innovative approach allows airplanes to approach and take off from any direction, mitigating the impact of crosswinds and enabling concurrent operations of multiple aircraft, thereby optimizing land utilization and reducing costs. The Endless Runway project further enhances this concept with a circular runway design capable of accommodating diverse aircraft types and operating efficiently irrespective of wind direction, leading to streamlined air and ground trajectories and a compact airport footprint. By implementing circular airport designs, numerous benefits such as improved traffic flow, reduced noise levels, and increased operational reliability can be achieved, offering a promising avenue for enhancing airport efficiency and alleviating congestion issues. Additionally, complementing circular airport design with an efficient drainage system offers a multifaceted solution to alleviate airport congestion and enhance sustainability. By facilitating unrestricted aircraft movements and optimizing land use, while concurrently managing water runoff, these integrated approaches promise to revolutionize airport infrastructure, fostering efficiency and environmental responsibility.
