This study is focused on investigating how optimism impacts perceived stress and social interaction anxiety. Focus is also put on understanding how the relationships differ between different genders. A sample of 229 young adults (age range of 19 to 25 years) had been chosen. It consisted of 135 men, 92 women and 2 from other gender. Each participant was given three questionnaires to fill - the 'Revised Life Orientation Test', the 'Perceived Stress Scale' and the 'Social Interaction Anxiety Inventory'. T-test, correlation and regression were used to draw relevant inferences. It was concluded that the level of optimism is inversely related to the level of perceived stress and to the level of social interaction anxiety. When analysed in terms of gender, it was concluded that females showed stronger inverse relationship between optimism and perceived stress and between optimism and social interaction anxiety than males.

This research aimed to study significant relationship between engagement in creative behaviour and ruminative thinking. Creative behaviour is doing an activity which is creative in nature. Rumination is repetitive thoughts about the past and future, that interferes with other activities. Adolescents and young adults tend to have higher ruminative tendencies. Aesthetic enjoyment may have a good effect on one's emotional state, maybe resulting in an improvement in wellbeing. this research focused on finding out whether engaging in creative behaviour helped in reducing rumination. Purposive random sampling was used for sample selection in this study. The Creative Behavior Inventory (Short Form) and Rumination response scale were used to collect sample responses. The results indicated a significant positive correlation between creative behaviour and rumination. This suggests that individuals with higher creative behaviour tend to have higher rumination, and vice versa, although the correlation was not found to be extremely strong.

The rising burden of cancer worldwide calls fo r an alternative treatment solution. Herbal medicine provides a very feasible alternative to western medicine against cancer. This article reviews the selected plant species with active phytochemicals, the animal models used for these studies, and their regulatory aspects. This study is based on a meticulous literature review conducted through the search of relevant keywords in databases, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Twenty plants were selected based on defined selection criteria for their potent anticancer compounds. The detailed analysis of the research studies revealed that plants play an indispensable role in fighting different cancers such as breast, stomach, oral, colon, lung, hepatic, cervical, and blood cancer cell lines. The in vitro studies showed cancer cell inhibition through DNA damage and activation of apoptosis-inducing enzymes by the secondary metabolites in the plant extracts. Studies that reported in vivo activities of these plants showed remarkable results in the inhibition of cancer in animal models. Further studies should be performed on exploring more plants, their active compounds, and the mechanism of anticancer actions for use as standard herbal medicine.

In this paper, we create a stock-keeping system for perishable goods within a constrained time frame for future planning. We have done our research in an inflationary setting to make it more applicable to the current market. Understanding inflation has provided researchers with a tool that can be used in a wider variety of settings without raising eyebrows. It is important to note that the chosen environment is specific to the original setting in which the model was created. Most researchers have ignored the decay factor or assumed a constant decay rate in the inventory model, which is not practical. We consider an inventory where the deterioration rate increases linearly with time, which is more realistic. The problem is formulated in a mathematical model and used to find the best solution. The robustness of the model and its responsiveness to parameter changes are tested in a number of ways. At last, a simulation is executed to verify the results.

- In detector networks, energy and data live are both limited resources. In an effort to increase detector network lives, the energy economical routing downside has previously been thoroughly researched, but the link system of measurement has been overly optimistically assumed to be abundant. Energy constraints have an impact on data routing, link measurement systems have an impact on each link's allowable rate as well as the routing topology, which has an impact on life. Previous studies that concentrate on energy-efficient operations in detector networks with the "only real" goal of extending network life only consider the energy limitation while disregarding the data live constraint. This study demonstrates how unrealistic these solutions could become whenever a measurement system imposes a restriction. It offers a brand-new mathematical framework that considers all energy and data life constraints and suggests two cost-effective algorithms for rate allocation and routing. Simulation findings demonstrate that these algorithms considerably enhance the product and offer more feasible routing solutions than prior studies. a technique for distributing the range that the provided link rates support is granted. The cross-layer design technique completely resolves the hidden terminal and exposed terminal issues while improving channel maximization noticeably.

Tradition has it that the Fabaceae herb Cassia tora L. can be used to cure psoriasis and other skin conditions. Three flavonoids--luteolin-7-O-glucopyranoside (1), quercetin-3-O-D-glucuronide (2), and formononetin-7-O-D-glucoside (3) isolated from the ethanol extract of C. tora leaves were examined for their ant psoriatic activity using a UV-B-induced photodermatitis model in order to evaluate this information. By comparing their retention times with those of established standards like luteolin, quercetin, and formononetin, the flavonoids found in the ethanol extract were also identified using HPLC. In the UV-induced photodermatitis model, histological examination of the section showed that the ethanol extract (400 mg/kg), isolated compound and standard group did not exhibit Munro's microabscess, elongated rete ridges, or dilated capillary loops. The isolated ethanolic extract Compared to a positive control, isolated compounds 1, 2, and 3 significantly reduced the relative thickness of the epidermis. In the HPLC analysis, three flavonoids--luteolin, quercetin, and formononetin--were identified by contrasting the retention durations of standard markers. Using an animal model, we came to the conclusion that the flavonoids in Cassia tora leaves exhibit potent antipsoriatic properties.(1)

Ayurveda is a prominent traditional medical practice that started in India. It uses a combination of treatments and lifestyle adjustments to cure sickness and maintain health. Adjuvant heavy metals, known as bhasmas (nanoparticle of metal & mineral) in Ayurvedic medicine, are widely included into basic herbo-mineral (combination of herbal and metals) formulations for their attributed medicinal effects and to boost potency. Heavy metals found in Ayurvedic medicines include lead, arsenic, and mercury. The toxicity of heavy metals generated by Ayurvedic medicines is widely recognized in the literature. The metal is "purified" during the traditional production of bhasmas (nanoparticle of metal & mineral) by several cooling and heating cycles, as well as the use of particular "mineral herbs." However, owing to inadequate quality control, which allows for contamination, adulteration, or faulty purification, the quantity of heavy metals in current formulations may be excessive. However, the concentration of heavy metals in modern formulations may be excessive due to poor quality control, which allows for contamination, adulteration, or improper purification. Several metallic preparations known as Bhasma have been used in clinical practice since the 8th century AD, according to Ayurvedic descriptions. Ayurvedic Puta system (Heating system) states that metals or minerals should be heated to high temperatures for melting and then quenched in suitable media such as herbal juices or decoctions for specified times. These methods are repeated several times to obtain the Bhasma (incinerated metals). The toxic effects of the metals are not only neutralized, but also transformed into biologically active nanoparticles during this process.
