 Abstract

As a martial art discipline that serves to increase performance, Taekwondo calls for a high level of agility and lower limb strength. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of a 6-week agility training program on National level Taekwondo players' reaction time. The purpose of this study was to investigate how agility training affected Taekwondo' reaction . Twenty players who were actively involved in taekwondo took part in the study. They were divided into two groups with n=12 in each group. Group 1 was given agility training whereas Group 2 was the controlled group All the assessed variables showed significant changes (P <0.05) in the Group 1 whereas in Group 2 (controlled group) showed no appreciable alterations . The pre-test and post-test values for the agility was statistically significant.

 Abstract

This study looked into the variables that affect how trait emotional intelligence varies (trait EI) is crucial because individual differences exist. Given the lack of exploration around here, the motivation behind this paper was the assessment of the connection amongst nurturing styles and characteristic EI in a juvenile populace. With the aid of this survey, it is generally advised to keep in mind the similarities and differences between the findings of this audit and the findings regarding the impact of parental consistency and between parental inconsistency on children in a piece of the various investigations that have already been completed in this area, what has all the earmarks of being as the principal decision is a 'mid-way' which assists with recollecting a 'good cop and horrible cop recipe', that could turn out to be increasingly useful sporadically in sustaining. This study's sample consisted of 100 adolescents, 50 of whom were female and 50 of whom were male. They were selected from Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) in India and ranged in age from 13 to 18; they did not have any mental or physical disabilities, were regular school-going adolescents, had nearly identical socioeconomic backgrounds, or were the only mothers who were homemakers from intact nuclear families. Adolescents' levels of self-esteem, both male and female are similar today, despite perceived authoritarian parenting practises in an Indian environment. The alternative hypothesis will be rejected because the null hypothesis was accepted. Whereas teenagers who perceived their parents' parenting style to be authoritative and permissive parenting styles had a positive influence on their self-esteem but not on their emotional intelligence.

 Abstract

Icons have become an indispensable part of our daily lives, from physical wayfinding systems to digital interface navigation. We rely on them to guide us and make our lives easier. However, as the world and technology continue to evolve, it is essential to question the utility of old icons and explore the need for new ones. Additionally, the way icons are perceived and interpreted by users may also have evolved over time, requiring a deeper understanding of the functional and aesthetic values that need to be considered while designing new age icons. Overall, icons remain a crucial part of our intuitive navigation systems, and their continued evolution and relevance are essential to our daily lives. This paper aims to explore the evolution of icons in the age of technology and the arguments surrounding their need for contemporary relevance. The first argument we will examine is whether icons that do not evolve with changing physical objects and places should be updated to remain relevant. The second argument is the considerations that need to be made when changing icons to maintain their effectiveness. Designers must ensure that new icons accurately represent the objects and places they signify while being easily recognizable and understandable by users. It is crucial to communicate any changes to users effectively and provide clear instructions on how to interpret and use the new icons to avoid confusion or misunderstanding. By understanding the evolving nature of icons, we can ensure that they continue to play an essential role in guiding us in the right direction on our devices.

 Abstract

The paper provides an overview of some latest bar code technology, which involves the insertion of a small RFID (radio-frequency identification) tag. This beneath the skin to enable individuals to carry personal identification information or other data with them at all times. In particular, the paper considers the potential benefits and risks associated with the use of bar code implants for medical purposes, such as patient identification, monitoring and tracking of medical treatments, and emergency responses. Because of the importance of maintaining track of all products in one location, barcodes have become important elements of sales and product services. This Paper explores the different bar code technologies and applications used in segments of the retail grocery as well as consumer goods industries. It will examine the history and development of barcode technology, including the various applications it has been proposed for, and the ethical and legal considerations that arise from its use. Further, focus on the potential benefits and risks associated with bar code implants in the medical context used for patient identification, tracking of medical treatments, and emergency response. Authors also performed a comparative study on some characteristics like technology used, advantages in industry or market and also mention the future recommendation.

 Abstract

Abstract In the present study an attempt is made to assess the relationship between multiple intelligence and cognitive styles of the students studying in secondary schools and influence of demographic variables on MI. A total of 1697 students were randomly selected from the Mysuru district selected using simple random sampling.. They were administered Multiple Intelligences Scale (MIS) is a tool developed by Surabhi Agarwal and Suraksha Pal (2017) cognitive style inventory developed by Kelu and Asha (2016) . The data were subjected to chi-square tests and results revealed significant relations were found between the dimensions of multiple intelligence (linguistic, logical, spatial, naturalistic, interpersonal & intrapersonal) and field-dependent cognitive style (D-style) with the majority of the respondents displaying average levels of each in association with each other. Significant associations have been observed between total multidimensional intelligence and field-dependent cognitive style (D-style), with a greater number of respondents expressing average levels of both in relation to each other. The multiple intelligence dimensions (linguistic, logical, spatial, naturalistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal) and the field-independent cognitive style (I-style) were shown to be significantly correlated, with the majority of respondents showing average levels of each in relation to one another. The field-independent cognitive style (I-style) and total multiple intelligence were shown to be significantly correlated, with the majority of respondents showing medium levels of both in respect to one another.
