This research paper analyses the psychological trauma in childhood which leads to the alteration of adulthood through the novel, The Silent Patient. The novel The Silent Patient is a psychological thriller, that revolves around Theo Faber, a psychotherapist, and Alicia Berenson, an artist. They meet as a result of an affair between their partners. And their lives take a complete turn one day. Alicia is hospitalized in a psychic hospital, The grove. Theo takes more interest in Alicia's case, as she remains silent for the past six years. She had been convicted for murdering her husband. So, Theo decides to treat Alicia and goes to The Grove. There, several truths get revealed. Can a person's childhood trauma lead them to become a bad person? Can a person turn into toxic, possessive and ultimately commit a murder because of their unhealthy childhood. This has been analyzed with the characters, Alicia and Theo. A person's adulthood can be altered due to their adulthood. This concept has been analyzed psychologically with evidence in the novel and theories from psychology.

The worldwide state of health is continuing to be severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 has affected the human race in all aspects of life whether it be mentally, physically, socially, or economically. Diagnosing Covid-19 is a critical task, especially when there is a shortage of resources. Moreover, the present tests and techniques lack solutions to problems such as ease of accessibility, the requirement of rapid response, the cost of testing, the accuracy of results, etc. The most modern Machine Learning (ML) algorithms could be employed to develop a solution that allows for rapid testing and more accurate findings. The model prepared will be a more efficient imaging method to diagnose lungs related problems. Recognizing conceivable corona virus diseases using X-ray of chest will potentially be helpful to isolate patients lies in danger zone. X-ray machines are currently available in most healthcare systems also there is no transportation time needed for the models by a similar token. The timely detection of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoV-2 (SARS CoV-2), which is the main reason for Wuhan virus, utilizing chest X-ray pictures will prove to be life-saving for both patients and specialists [1]. In the present work, our aim to develop a system that detect of Covid-19 using X-ray images of the chest with the help of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based ML technique. On performing comparative analysis with other models we found CNN to be the appropriate one for our work.

The primary objective of developing the Polyherbal Hand Wash Gel is to promote hand hygiene. Herbal medicines play a crucial role in global healthcare, being widely recognized as effective remedies for prevention and various health conditions. Consequently, Herbal Medication is also referred to as Botanical treatment or Phyto-medicine. Although several hand wash products are available in the market, some of them may have adverse effects such as itching, dermatitis, and irritation. To mitigate these issues, an attempt has been made to formulate a polyherbal hand wash using Kambarmodi extract (known for its antimicrobial activity) and Tulsi (known for its purifying properties) against disease-causing bacteria, while also ensuring skin protection. Alongside Kambarmodi and Tulsi, other herbal drugs or herbs that play an important role have been included in the formulation. The evaluation of the herbal hand wash encompassed parameters such as color, fragrance, grittiness, pH, viscosity, spreadability, foam height, foam retention, skin irritation test, cleaning action, dirt dispersion test, and antimicrobial activity. The efficacy of the polyherbal hand wash was compared with commercially available hand wash products, and the results fell within acceptable limits with minimal or no side effects. The present study aimed to formulate a Polyherbal Hand Wash Gel containing herbal extracts, not only for hand cleansing but also for the prevention of bacterial growth. Its composition was designed to be gentle on the skin, minimizing the risk of irritation. Therefore, it can be concluded that Polyherbal Hand Wash Gel is superior to plain soaps and existing synthetic hand wash products in terms of its ingredients and effectiveness on our hands' skin, while also being suitable for all skin types

Abstract Theoretically, reconstruction of a national identity is one of the leading tasks of a newly established postcolonial regime. Such a reconstruction indicates a process of nation building targeted at consolidating a sense of togetherness about common history, memories, symbols and cultures, and the belief in the importance of practices beneficial to governance. It aims at cultivating political allegiance to the state and feelings of identification with the territory and fellow citizens. Through this process, a new regime secures the willing respect and obedience of its citizens, as well as its legitimacy. Contrary to common wisdom, the process of identity making is not a clear process of differentiating 'the other' from 'the self' and repressing 'the other' but is instead a process of incorporating the identities of 'the other. The case of Macau is unique in showing that the making of a national identity may not be the prime goal of a new regime and that the regime may not be antagonistic to the features of 'the other' colonial attributes and local identities that it has inherited. Rather the new government has cultivated a hybrid identity, including local, national and international identities, believing that these can advance not only nation building but also the economic goals beneficial to governance. Portugal and Portuguese identity has always been very difficult to define. Being the origin of an empire whose evaluation is still polemic, the Portuguese have been seen in very different ways by their European contemporaries and as well as their colonial 'subjects'. The present study is an attempt to understand aspects of Portuguese legacy and the dimensions of 'interculturality' in Macao.

The objective for the selection of the topic is to study theINFP personality type and its relationship with seasonal affective symptoms. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that affects individuals on a seasonal basis, typically during the fall and winter months. This disorder is characterized by symptoms such as low mood, lethargy, changes in appetite and sleep patterns, and loss of interest in activities. Research has suggested that personality traits may play a role in the development and severity of SAD symptoms. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between ENFP personality type and SAD symptoms. The findings of this study will have both theoretical and practical implications. Theoretical implications include contributing to our understanding of the underlying mechanisms of SAD and the role of personality traits in the development and severity of SAD symptoms. Practical implications include the development of targeted interventions to help individuals manage their SAD symptoms more effectively based on their personality traits. Additionally, this research may help to identify high-risk individuals and inform preventative strategies for reducing the incidence of SAD. Overall, this study aims to contribute to the growing body of literature on the relationship between INFP personality type and SAD symptoms. By shedding light on this relationship, we hope to improve diagnosis and treatment of SAD and ultimately improve the lives of individuals affected by this disorder. Responses were collected face to face. Research sample was of 120 participants divided into three groups. The Myers-Briggs Preference Questionnaire (Personality Test) and Personal Inventory for Depression and SAD was administered on the participants.

Abstract Libraries provide services for everyone, despite their social or economic background, so that the users have a non-discriminatory nature while providing services in the library. Social enclosure through libraries for society is a new move that is expected to be able to promote community social-economic development and widen people's insights, especially in rural people that are far from access to information. Every library offers its patrons the basic services they need, but libraries that serve tiny, rural populations have the opportunity to do more than just give its users access to information; they can also help those communities grow. The rural library is revitalised with original and creative programmes in which anyone can take part. Libraries, as institutions that offer information services, also serve as centres for promoting literacy, which is intended to help improve social and economic conditions and reduce overall poverty by encouraging creative and innovative ideas.

Statistical methods for survival data analysis have continued to flourish in the last two decades. Applications of the methods have broadened from their historical use in cancer and reliability research used in the fields of business, criminology, epidemiology, and social and behavioral sciences. Survival analysis consists of studies of the survival time of a subject (days, weeks, months, or years), which is the time that elapses between the baseline and the moment an adverse event occurs, or the subject drops out of the trial. A retrospective study of 468 breast cancer patterns over a period of one year, i.e., from December, 2021 to November 2022, was collected from the medical records at the Jakka Sujathamma Cancer Detection Centre, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. The log-rank test revealed a statistically significant difference in patient survival times, and it can be deduced that tumor size, family history, advanced stage, and age all have an impact on the disease. The three main risk factors for breast cancer death are stage, grade, and tumor size. Age is one of the most significant risk factors in the Cox PH model analysis; as age rises, so does the likelihood of developing breast cancer.
