 Abstract

Meena Kandasamy's novel "Gypsy Goddess" is a powerful work that delves into the intersections of gender, caste, and environmental issues in contemporary India. This abstract aims to explore the ecofeminist discourse present in the novel and analyze how Kandasamy intertwines the themes of feminism and environmentalism to shed light on the complex socio-cultural and ecological challenges faced by marginalized communities. Ecofeminism, as a theoretical framework, highlights the parallel oppressions of women and the environment, providing a lens to understand the socio-political implications of these interconnections. Through a close reading of the text, this paper uncovers the ecofeminist discourse present in "Gypsy Goddess" and examines how Kandasamy portrays the exploitation of women and the environment. The study explores the novel's portrayal of gendered power dynamics and their impact on female characters, as well as the depiction of environmental degradation and its consequences. It further explores the intersections between gender, power, and the environment, revealing the socio-political implications of ecofeminist critique within the novel. Additionally, the paper investigates acts of resistance and activism against gendered and ecological injustices depicted in the novel, highlighting the potential for transformative change. By critically analyzing the ecofeminist discourse in "Gypsy Goddess," this research paper contributes to the existing body of knowledge on ecofeminism in literature and emphasizes its relevance in understanding contemporary social and environmental issues.

 Abstract

The significance of fostering innovation in higher educational institutions is multifaceted. The purpose of this research paper is to examine the key elements, strategies, and best practices involved in creating an ecosystem for innovation within higher educational institutions. By identifying and analyzing successful case studies and drawing insights from existing literature, this paper aims to provide practical guidance for educational leaders, administrators, and policymakers in establishing an environment that fosters innovation. The literature review revealed that innovation ecosystems in higher education are essential for nurturing a culture of innovation and addressing the complex challenges of the 21st century. We identified the key elements, stakeholders, and theories related to creating an innovation ecosystem. Additionally, we discussed the challenges and barriers that institutions may face in promoting innovation. Strategies for building an innovation ecosystem were explored, focusing on leadership and governance models, infrastructure and resource allocation, and the importance of collaboration and partnerships. It is recommended that institutions focus on integrating these findings and insights into their practices to create sustainable innovation ecosystems. This includes fostering a supportive leadership culture, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration, establishing effective governance models, and providing adequate funding and resources. Institutions should also prioritize the evaluation and measurement of impact to ensure continuous improvement and inform decision-making. By implementing the recommendations outlined in this research paper and continuing to explore these areas, higher educational institutions can create vibrant and impactful innovation ecosystems that nurture creativity, drive societal progress, and prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

 Abstract

Ayurveda, the science of life, is a traditional system of medicine. In Ayurveda, women's health is given utmost importance. Every women goes through a series of profound changes during her life-time and the process of cyclic menstruation is one among the natural phenomenon. The female menstrual cycle involves the shedding of endometrium along with hormonal changes affecting a woman's emotional and physical state. If there is abnormally excessive or prolonged bleeding it leads to the condition Raktapradara/Asirgdhara. Raktapradara can be correlated to Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding. Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding is the state of abnormal uterine bleeding following anovulation due to dysfunction of hypothalamo-pituitary-ovarian axis. It is the commonest problem encountered by gynecologist in today's practice and incidence becomes higher with degree of civilization. It varies in both amount and duration. It is commonest among the women of reproductive age. About 10 to 30% of reproductive aged woman are affected by Raktapradara. Excessive bleeding per vagina not only hampers the women's day to day activities but also interferes with the woman's physical, emotional, social and psychological quality of life. Ayurveda describes a wide range of treatment principles in the management of Raktapradara which not only cures Raktapradara and prevents its recurrence but also helps in improving the general health of women. Raktapradara is mainly due to vitiation of Vata and Pitta dosha hence Kashaya rasa and Pitta shamaka Chikitsa may be adopted. The present review includes the aspect of Raktapradara from nirukti of Asrigdara with its nidana, samprapti, poorvaroopa, roopa, sadhyasadhyata, upadrava, chikitsa and pathya-apathya.

 Abstract

Online teaching is the process of educating people using virtual platforms. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the education sector, necessitating the shift of learning patterns from face-to-face to online learning. During the Covid-19 era, online education was the only option. Because it was convenient and simple to teach online, it became an essential mode of education throughout the pandemic. The national and state governments have taken a variety of efforts to mitigate the pandemic's impact on the educational sector. While the convenience of online education is advantageous, a lack of social interaction can be an issue during a pandemic. Not physically connecting with classmates or professors can lead to the child being ignorant of the benefits of physically attending class. This might eventually result in social awkwardness and the inability to communicate with people normally. The current study focuses on how online instruction affects secondary students' social sensibility. Data for this study was gathered using a self-made social sensibility test questionnaire. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample of 200 secondary-level students from CBSE and UP board schools, both boys and females. The acquired data was examined using statistical tools such the mean, standard deviation, and CR test. According to the survey, secondary level CBSE board school students' social sensibilities during the pandemic were noticeably higher than those of UP board school students. In this regard, male students in secondary school had much stronger social sensibility than female students.

 Abstract

The exponential increase in the population has led to a waste management crisis. All over the world experts are working hard to develop a system that can efficiently eradicate this adversity. One such efficient method for the treatment of wastewater is via (Microbial fuel cell) MFC. MFC is a low-power generating renewable energy source. It aids in generating clean electricity by treating wastewater. But this technology is not entirely exclusive, it has its drawbacks such as the generation of low voltage current, high production cost, lower power output, and low energy conversion efficiency. This increases the need to improve the MFC to enhance electricity generation and wastewater treatment. Modification of various parts in the MFC system can aid to generate a positive result. The paper illustrates the probable methods to increase the efficiency of MFC for the generation of electricity.
