 Abstract

'Pneumoscan' is a web application developed to diagnose pneumonia on chest X-ray and medical parameters using the concept of deep learning algorithms. In this model pneumonia and non-pneumonia condition can be detected using CAAD model which has an anomaly detection module and confidence prediction module, which shares a feature extractor. If the anomaly score is higher than the threshold or confidence score is small than the threshold, the entered input will be treated as a pneumonia case and we will compare this with the medical parameter and give the severity level. The system is implemented using Django framework and Python.

 Abstract

The catalytic C-H hydroxylation reactions of different alkane substrates are investigated employing three Fe(II) complexes containing TACN-derivatized tetradentate N4 ligands using H2O2 as a co-oxidant. The large normalized C3/C2 bond selectivity in adamantane oxidation, high degrees of stereoretention in the oxidation of cis-1,2-dimethylcyclohexane and the high kinetic isotope effect values for C-H bond activation indicates the involvement of metal-based oxidant in catalytic processes. The active oxidant is proposed to be an (L)FeV(O)(OH) species (L = Me2,MeBzImTACN, Me2,Me2PyzTACN, Me2,MeImTACN) which may exist in two tautomeric forms related by a proton shift between the oxo and hydroxo ligands. Isotope labeling experiments are in agreement with the oxygen atom in the hydroxylated products originating from both water and hydrogen peroxide, and labeling experiments involving oxygen atom transfer to sterically bulky substrates provide indirect information on the steric influence exerted by the three ligands. These studies indicate that the Me2,Me2PyzTACN, exerts a greater steric influence compared to the Me2,MeImTACN and Me2,MeBzImTACN ligands.

 Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of RECRON fibers in BLACK COTTON soil. Civil engineers face various problems while designing the foundations on highly compressible Black Cotton soil due to poor bearing capacity and excessive settlement when it comes in affinity of water. Most of the soil especially Black Cotton soil available in our surroundings is such that it has good compressive strength, adequate shear strength but is weak in tension or has poor tensile strength. To overcome the same, many researchers have concentrated their studies on soil improvement techniques by developing new such materials or a combination of such materials. In this study of Black Cotton soil along with Recron fibres is used. The Recron fibres of different aspect length (6mm, 12mm and 18mm) is mixed properly with soil mixture in varying percentages (0.50%, 0.75% and 1.0%) by dry weight of Black Cotton Soil. The main objective is to study the index and engineering properties like California Bearing Ration (CBR), Shear strength parameter (c & ?), Atterberg's limits at all above mentioned percentages. The test results would indicate improved geotechnical properties of Black Cotton Soil. The optimized results are obtained on using 0.75% of 6 mm length Recron fibre as its use improved geotechnical properties like shrinkage limit by 1.88 times when compared with normal Black Cotton soil. California bearing ratio increased 2.67 times, Liquid limit decreased by 0.94 times, cohesion value increased by 4 times, moreover free swell index decreased by 0.42 times when compared with the normal Black Cotton soil in which no Recron fibre was used.

 Abstract

The increasing occurrence of abnormal phenomena in financial markets has challenged the assumptions of traditional finance, leading to the emergence of behavioural finance. This field, developed in the 1970s and 1980s, focuses on investor behaviour and explains market anomalies through the lens of sociology, incorporating psychology and behaviour into financial analysis (Baker & Wurgler, 2006). This shift in perspective has spurred extensive research into investor behaviour and sentiment. Several studies have focused on measuring and quantifying investor sentiment. Composite sentiment indexes, such as that developed by Baker and Wurgler (2007), utilize principal component analysis (PCA) to combine multiple sentiment indicators into a single index, capturing the collective sentiment of investors. In this paper, PCA is employed to construct an investor sentiment composite index using Indian stock market data, providing a nuanced understanding of investor sentiment in India. Secondly, the dynamic relationship between Investor Sentiment and Market Return is tested using multivariate time-series regression model. The model does succeed in reflecting the explanatory power of Investor Sentiment in predicting stock market return. Recognizing this phenomenon empowers investors to gain deeper insights into the market, enabling them to navigate their investment decisions more effectively. Moreover, this understanding opens avenues for additional research into refining methods of measuring investor sentiment, ultimately enhancing its utility in guiding investor behavior.

 Abstract

Abstract William Gibson's Neuromancer is the investigation of identity in a cybernetic environment, which highlights the significant influence of technology on human nature. This study looks at how corporate power, artificial intelligence, and cybernetic advancements define and influence personal identity. Personas like Case and Molly Millions, who alternate between their real and virtual identities, serve as examples of the flexibility and disarray of identity. Cyborg identities serve as an example of how the fusion of human and machine is challenging conventional ideas about what it means to be human. Furthermore, the distinction between artificial and organic life is becoming more hazy due to the existence of aware AIs like Wintermute and Neuromancer, which broadens the meaning of consciousness. The concept of autonomy and selfhood is further complicated by corporate manipulation and control through technology advancements and monitoring. Consent, autonomy, and the rights of artificial beings are among the moral and ethical issues that these interactions bring up. By exploring these subjects, Neuromancer provides a forward-thinking analysis of how identity is changing in a cybernetic future where distinctions between organic and synthetic, human and machine, are becoming more and more blurred. In order to shed light on the transformational potential of technology on identity and the human body, this study attempts to clarify these complications.

 Abstract

Time travel has always fascinated people because it challenges how human beings think about time and reality. This article manages the idea of time travel applying by H.G. Wells' book, The Time Machine. It talks about the complicated ideas in time travel stories and trace out what could actually happen. Einstein's theory of relativity says, time travel might be possible, but humans still can't apply it because they don't have the right technology. Wells' The Time Machine is one of the first stories, which really explore time travel, showing both the exciting things it could bring and the problems it might cause. Even though science has advanced, time travel is just an interesting factor in the stories because there are still big deals. The article underscores the enduring fascination with time travel and its implications, paradoxes and possibilities for the time travel concept.
