 Abstract

Recently lung cancer has become a major problem as every year there is an increasing number of rising fatalities. A significant quantity of research is being carried out on dimensions of genetic and inherited approaches to diagnose lung malignancy. The research includes numerous image processing tools that have attained the requisite key objectives when integrated and implemented in succession. There are various levels in the segmentation method to eventually reach its objective, which is to segment the lung malignancy. Pre-processing of the image happens first where such enhancement methods are used to strengthen and improve noise reduction in images. The process involves automatic generation of threshold which ensures the correct picture is chosen since cancer involves the diverse intensity of gray level. Therefore another procedure was adopted to eliminate cancer form threshold image. Some other method was utilized to eliminate cancer from threshold image. Eventually, by removing the thresholds and the other image, the lung cancer is effectively separated.

 Abstract

Representing agony in the form of memoirs are quite a common genres that are prevalent since early times in literary space. Illness, as a fact and struggle to survive as a reality is being represented in fiction regularly. Experimenting literary genres have become a new method of representing the self. In recent days specialities in representing agony and pain through Graphic memoirs have become eye catching experience in literary scenario. To Cancer with Love, an Indian Graphic Illness Memoir by Neelam Kumar has created a land mark in presenting the gray sides of life into the most powerful and creative hues of existence. Meandering the shades of life of a cancer victim into the brightest colours of life has made the Memoir specific in creating a new perspective of reading experience, questioning the prevailing style of writing which triggers the emotions of dark realities.

 Abstract

This paper presents the qualitative study of the lead generation process. The finding suggests that the network issues and technical issues related to connecting with potential customer has bigger impact on the lead generation process. Similarly, the availability of potential software for the demonstration of the product on remote online basis is also affecting the acquisition of the customer. It is also found that there is inter and intra departmental communication gap in the organization which leads to possible misconception about the amount of information needed for generation of lead and acquiring the customer. The findings also provide foundation for the improvement of the lead filtration system of the organization.

 Abstract

Intervehicle communication (IVC) is gaining attention of research community and Automotive industry as it enables intelligent Transportation systems (ITS). Intervehicle communication enables , real-time delivery of safety related messages to drivers and passengers of vehicles. Wireless Vehicular Ad hoc Network known as VANET is now emerging as a new class of wireless ad hoc networks. Wireless Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANET) are spontaneous networks formed by moving vehicles provisioned with wireless network interfaces, these vehicles could have similar or different radio access technologies, short-range or medium range wireless communication system. These moving vehicles can communicate among themselves and with roadside infrastructure communication networks. Delivering communication services with consistent QoS and high degree of reliability in a wireless vehicular heterogeneous and high-speed network is extremely critical and is an ongoing research. Governmental and Standardization organizations are showing interest in VANET. Recent survey and statistics, indicated a significant reduction in deaths due to vehicular accidents, can be achieved by providing real-time safety messages to driver and passengers. Safety messages comprises of alerting drivers about road conditions ahead, proving real-time update through video images, real-time update on weather conditions on road ahead and early detection of traffic signals etc. This study evaluated the optimum routing for VANET wireless ad hoc networks with AODV as routing protocol. AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) routing parameters were evaluated for variations in key parameters, RREQ_RETRIES and MAX_RREQ_TIMEOUT. Key parameter values were studied for various vehicular node mobility to ascertain optimum configuration to enable better performance for VANET. The performance metrics used to determine the performance data were Packet Delivery ratio (PDR), Throughput, Packet Loss, and routing overhead. The result demonstrates that the key Parameters of AODV, RREQ_RETRIES and MAX_RREQ_TIMEOUT changes with the node speed and produced the best results for the wireless ad-hoc network with AODV as routing protocol. As the vehicle speed in VANETT are typically extremely high, above demonstration of enhancement in performance in network for the high-speed wireless nodes provides vital input for the design of VANET for optimum network performance.

 Abstract

Herbal medicines has achieved acceptance throughout the world in recent times. In different parts of India, ethnomedicinal plants are used to treat several ailments. In many clinical or research area, herbal medicines are considered for its less side effects than the synthetic medicines. Plants are better source of novel bioactive molecules with therapeutic effect. In the past few decades, the combination of nanoparticles from the plant sources have demonstrated to be an efficacious and alternative method for the innovative production of nanoparticles. In this article, the importance of nanoparticles as a drug carrier to the target site and incorporating the herbal drugs into novel drug delivery system are studied. The review also focused on to increase the adherence of topical application. Herbal drug with a great potential of wound healing activity especially in the diabetic complications is seems to be a challenging part. The herbal drugs imparting the activity to increase the growth factors and reducing the oxidative stress during wound healing part has studied.

 Abstract

In the very beginning of 2020, covid-19 exploded all over the world and disturbed our lifestyle. In these tragic conditions, alcohol-based hand sanitizers play an important role and become a vital fluid nowadays though they need to be used properly. Touching alcohol containers or hand sanitizers with infected hands can spread the virus to the next person. We propose to build an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser that uses IR sensors to detect the presence of a hand and activates a pump or solenoid to pour the liquid on the hand. The intention was to find the cheapest and easiest solution and design a circuit & manufacture the same in India. The dispenser is contactless and will spray alcohol-based hand rub sanitizer for sanitization of hands while entering buildings like Hospitals, Office complexes, Malls, etc. This is a mist-based dispenser, to optimize the consumption of sanitizer. Whereas in normal usage, we use 20-30 ml of sanitizer for one operation, this sanitizer does the same job by dispensing just 5- 6ml of sanitizer in mist form over a long period.

 Abstract

Utilization of industrial waste materials in concrete compensates the lack of natural resources, solving the disposal problem of waste and to find alternative technique to safeguard the nature. There are a number of industrial wastes used as fully or partial replacement of coarse aggregate or fine aggregate. This review carries out a thorough assessment about industrial waste substances, which can be adequately utilized in concrete as fine aggregate substitution. This paper reviewed foundry sand as industrial waste. Basically sand from industrial waste flow through the machines during the sand reclamation process. Experiments have been conducted using waste foundry sand. Crushed sand has been replaced by waste foundry sand which improves compressive strength.

 Abstract

Emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire trucks are delayed in traffic as they confront numerous challenges, and valuable human lives are lost as a result of bad traffic management. In this research, a model is proposed for predicting traffic heaviness on roadways utilising image processing techniques with an emergency vehicle recognition system, as well as a traffic signal management model based on information collected from real time traffic videos. The majority of traffic signal systems use a timing mechanism that switches the lights after a set amount of time. In some situations, this may be ineffective. The controller receives no feedback from the regulated variable (traffic volume) (traffic control system using lighting). For example, whether the road is crowded or not, the duration of the green light will always be the same. To solve these congestion problems, it is better to build a new control system; a smart and intelligent control system. The smart traffic light system senses the presence or absence of vehicles and reacts accordingly. The idea behind smart traffic systems is that drivers will not spend unnecessary time waiting for the traffic lights to change. In addition, on detecting emergency vehicles in a lane the traffic signal is turned to green immediately so that a free passage is provided to these vehicles. This would help the emergency vehicles to reach the destination on the time thereby saving time as well as loss of life.
