 Abstract

This paper discusses the role, importance and challenges of ICT in teaching learning process in the 21st century. Information and communication technologies at present are influencing every aspect of human life. ICT is described as the whole range of process of generation, storage, transmission, retrieval and processing of information. It helps in breaking the walls of time distance and speed in the educational set up. ICT as the technology used to manage information and aid communication. It offers learners more complete and individual control over their learning. Moreover, many people recognize ICTs as catalysts for change, handling and exchanging information, teaching strategies, teaching methods, learning approaches, scientific research, and in accessing information. The effective integration of this technology into classroom practices poses a challenge to teachers and administrators. Improving the quality of education and training particularly at a time of educational expansion, ICT enhance to quality of education by increasing learners motivation and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and enhancing teacher training. The papers examine the importance, role and challenges of ICT in the contemporary society.

 Abstract

Choice of water sources is a broad and complex phenomenon. It is not even a stable one but may change on a daily or seasonal basis. Several factors influence choice of water sources. Even though people to a large extent seem to follow routines, there are constraints and opportunities that can break such patterns. Lack of money can therefore force people to use normally water from spring (tuikhur), public taps, and hand pumps. Most of the low income families are determined by more than one factors as far as their choice of water source is concerned.

 Abstract

Water Resources and Agriculture in north Bihar is base of economy. Irrigation scheduling many researchers have attempted to find out the lower limit of available water in the assumed shallow root-zones of crops at which the irrigation must be applied to avoid yield reduction. Though this approach is still prevalent, but it suffers from a few serious drawbacks. Firstly, the assumption of a fixed root-zone runs counter to the dynamic and ever deepening character of crop roots during the greater part of the growing period. Secondly, the periodical determinations of root-growth and soil-water depletion are beyond the know-how and means of the common farmers. Whatever short comings are in this approach, it helped in fixing irrigation schedule earlier. The sowing time available water storage achieved through heavy pre-sowing irrigation which is a common practice is an insurance against the irrigation-deficits during the growing period. The irrigation depth for post-sowing watering depends upon the water storage deficit of the root-zone which is determined by the time-interval between irrigation and ET demand.

 Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak, which started in China in December 2019, has spread to 203 countries. Till date, over 1.5 million people had been affected by COVID-19 and about 80,000 people had died worldwide. We are in unprecedented times. The Covid-19 pandemic is spreading across the world and India is no exception. With the cases also rising exponentially in India, the Government introduced a 21-day national lockdown in first phase. The Indian economy is going through a major slowdown with COVID-19 coming into the picture, which was evident over the recent quarters even before the crisis hit. The economy expanded at a six-year low rate of 4.7 per cent in the third quarter of the current financial year. The outbreak has now presented Indian economy with new roadblocks, creating destructive impact on the world of work. The organizations have gone on a backfoot with such a crisis at the country. The impact of COVID-19 would be felt across sectors such as logistics, auto, tourism, metals, drugs and pharmaceuticals, electronic goods, MSMEs and retail among others. However, the extent of actual impact would depend on the severity and duration of the outbreak, which is still unknown. The government and various regulators have announced a series of measures to support corporates and individuals during the lockdown. This paper spotlights the impacts of COVID-19 on Indian economy sector-wise and discussed the various challenges Indian economy may face in coming time. It presents the so far impact made by the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy and how markets and the economy have reacted sharply to the pandemic and its implications for businesses. The relevant data have been taken up from various reports of authentic agencies, journals, newspapers and websites. The paper concludes and gives clear picture of the overall impacts of Covid-19 pandemic on Indian economy.

 Abstract

The liberalization of the Indian economy has dramatically and drastically influenced social life in India and scholars have commented extensively upon how the image of a �New India� brand has been created by media, corporate power houses and politicians based on the changes witnessed as a result of economic reformation. The creation of this �New India� brand accompanies the attempt to construct a new generation Indian subject who will play an integral role in narrating this new liberalized nation. Bhagat�s novels and protagonists are, in part, representative of the new generation Indian youth in more ways, as his novels center on the dynamics of metropolitan life and the influence of economic liberalization amongst this new generation Indian youth. The present research paper significantly sheds light on the new generation youth expressed and delineated through the dynamic characters in Five Point Someone.

Indian Railways, operated by the Ministry Of Railways is perhaps the biggest facilitator and connector of the masses across the states, divisions, districts, cities, towns and villages, the essence and relevance of railways in the development paradigm along with railways infrastructure today and its contribution to development across the country is of utmost importance to understand having all, different functional units such as (IRTS, Indian Railways, Passenger Reservation Enquiry, IRPS, signaling, tracking, eco-review, statistics, electrification, sanitation, symbols, departmental conventions of rules regulation, safety, security, self sufficiency, passenger safety and security, station cleanliness, general duties of staffs ,general conventions of passengers, IRCTC, asset utilization etc.) working in collaboration with one another with a proper set of structural organizational conventions and maintenance of value consensus reinforces stability in the organizational structure, thereby, promoting integration on the account of sociological basis evidenced by customer satisfaction highlighting the smooth running of Railway Organization and its social contributions as the Lifeline to the nation.
