 Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy is a retinal disease that affects diabetes patients and the major cause of blindness for age population. It is an asymptomatic disease, which involves changes to blood vessels that can cause them to bleed or leak fluid, causing distortion of vision. Therefore, the blood vessels extraction is very important to help ophthalmologists to recognize this disease at the first stage in order to prevent an eventual loss of vision. Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a leading disabling chronic disease and one of the main causes of blindness and visual impairment in developed countries for diabetic patients. Studies reported that 90% of the cases can be from through early detection and treatment. Eye screening through retinal images is used by physicians to detect the lesions related with this disease. Due to the increasing number of diabetic people, the amount of images to be manually analyzed is becoming unaffordable. Moreover, training new personnel for this type of image-based diagnosis is long, because it requires to acquire expertise by daily practice. This paper presents the survey of retinopathy classification for diabetic patient using various methods which include image processing and artificial intelligence or machine learning.

 Abstract

Background: Intermittent exotropia is a condition in which part of the times when one eye has drifted outwards, and other times when the eyes are straight. Some patients or family members notice the exotropia more when the patient is tired or daydreaming. Prevalence of basic exotropia accounts for approximately 50% of all intermittent exotropias. Practionor view treating these patients, especially adults with childhood-onset exotropia, as challenging. Contradictory opinions still exist regarding prescribing any treatment for adult strabismus, including surgical realignment and optometric Binocular vision therapy (BVT). Case reports: An adult patients with moderate-size intermittent exotropia of the basic type who presented with asthenopia, headaches, and diplopia. 10 to 20 in-office BVT sessions were endorsed to reduce the magnitude and frequency of the deviation as well as improve their binocularity and decrease their symptoms. After completing OBT, patients became orthotropic for all distances, had normal fuional vergence ability, and had normal near points of convergence. Advised to continue HBT and Long term outcome was evaluated 1 year post therapy. Conclusion: Optometric Binocular Vision Therapy plays important role and highly effective in patients with intermittent exotropia of the basic type. Most importantly its eliminated the patients' symptoms of asthenopia and diplopia without the need for surgery.

 Abstract

Carbon nanotubes are an ideal material for sensor fabrication because of their mechanical, electrochemical, and piezoresistive characteristics. The need for highly selective, sensitive, responsive, and cost-effective sensors has been tremendous. sturdiness and quick reaction Sensors made of carbon nanotubes are attached to stockings. The Aim of the paper is to study and build various sorts of sensors using nanofibers and nanocomposites The objective of technology is to combine such systems.

 Abstract

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), a novel human coronavirus, has spread across the world. SARS-CoV-2 belongs to b-genus of Sarbecovirus and is a close relative of SARS-CoV with approximately 80% sequence identity. In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) proclaimed the SARS-CoV-2-caused disease coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19), a pandemic. Therefore, it is imperative to develop effective prophylactic and therapeutic counter measures to prevent and treat COVID-19. Numerous vaccine candidates such as adenovirus-vectored, nucleic-acid-based, recombinant-protein based, and inactivated vaccines are at various stages of developmental phase at either preclinical or clinical trials. However, meeting the global need for billions of doses of COVID-19 vaccines will require collective effort to identify, evaluate, validate, and manufacture effective vaccines. This review article gives detailed information about the study of India’s first Indigenous COVID-19 vaccine “COVAXIN”. The main objective of this review is to get more information about its preclinical study, formulation, as well as its safety and efficacy in various phases of clinical trials.

 Abstract

Machining is an essential part of the manufacturing and production process. Manufacturers and producers are trying to put maximum effort to optimize all machining parameters and to make the machining process environment-friendly. Cutting fluids play an important role in the process of machining by reducing the production time, cost, and energy. The use of cutting fluids reduces heat generation, tool wear, surface roughness of machined workpiece. Since most of the oil-based and petroleum-based cutting fluids harm the environment and health effects on operators, so now industrial processes are using vegetable oil-based cutting fluids as an alternative. In this research, at first, the importance of cutting fluids during cutting has been presented, then the performance of vegetable oil-based cutting fluids used during the machining processes are discussed. Finally, some issues related to the use of vegetable oil-based cutting fluids are illustrated followed by suggestions for the future work and conclusions. Results reveal that the use of vegetable-based cutting fluids is beneficial in machining.

 Abstract

Now a Day world demands the high technology for solving the current and future problems. Fuel shortage is the main problem now-a-days. Considering current rate of usage of fossil fuels will let its life up to next five decades only. Undesirable climate change is the indication for not to use more fossil fuel any more. So the Best alternative for the automobile fuels to provide the mobility & transportation to peoples is only the E-bike. Future e-bike is the best technical application as a visionary solution for the better world and upcoming generation. E-bike comprises the features like high mobility efficiency, compact, electrically powered, comfortable riding experience, and light weight vehicle. E-bike is the most versatile future vehicle considering its advantages. In upcoming days we can make more advance bikes or E-vehicle using clean energy like solar energy. This can make great impact worldwide.
