Coumarin exhibit a wide range of activities like antimicrobial,antiviral,antifungal,anti-inflammatory activity, anticancer, antimalarial It is a group of organic compound which contain aromatic ring and a pyrone nucleus Coumarins name has been derived from Coumarou, the vernacular call of tonka bean (Dipteryx odorata Willd, Fabaceae), from which coumarin, it became remote in 1820. Coumarinor 2H-chromen-2-one is a fragrant organic chemical compound with formulation C9H6O2. Its molecule can be defined as a benzene molecule Present study includes synthesis of various analogues of coumarin and their potential for anti-microbial activity.Present work emphasizes on Design and synthesis of coumarin derivatives, Characterization of synthesized coumarin derivatives, Evaluation of synthesized compounds for anti-microbial activity.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are undergoing a major shift from traditional volunteerism to professionalism in their approaches and service delivery. The present paper is concerned with an analysis of the different aspects of strategic action orientation (SAO) of NGOs in India. SAO signifies the diverse issues related to the course of action pursued by NGOs in the light if their environmental perspectives and internal resources and capabilities. Based on a predetermined sample size, a questionnaire survey coupled with follow-up interviews with Heads/Senior Executives of NGOs has been conducted with a view to examine and analyse the different facets of SAO of NGOs in India. On the basis of quantitative analysis involving correlation analysis, cluster analysis and factor analysis, a specific pattern of SAO of NGOs has been observed which is different from that of business organisations. It has also been observed that NGOs with similar SAO have similarity in operational orientation to a moderate extent. Follow-up interviews with the NGOs substantiate the thrust areas that NGOs need to consider for their long-run competitive sustainability.

The essential objective of sowing operation is to place the seed and fertilizer in rows at desired depth and seed to seed spacing, cover the seeds with soil & provide proper compaction over the seed. The row spacing, seed rate, seed spacing and depth of seed placement differ according to crops and for different agro-climatic conditions to achieve optimum yields. The comparison between the normal sowing method and the new proposed machine may perform a variety of simultaneous operations and has several benefits. As day by day the labour availability becomes a great concern for the farmers and labour cost is more, this machine minimizes the efforts and total cost of sowing the seeds and fertilizer placement.

The synthesis of particles which has a size within the range of 1-100 nm is known as Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is based on the concept of smaller the size, larger is the surface area and hence nanotechnology is a widely studied subject from many years. In the current project, Andrographis paniculata is used as the source for the synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles. The synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles were characterized by UV spectrometry, XRD, FTIR, SEM and TEM. The results displayed that the nanoparticles had an absorption peak at 260 nm, spherical shape with an average size below 50 nm. The synthesized nanoparticles were employed in the separation of oil spill from water with the help of ferrofluid (small scale). Increase in the amount of ferrofluid enabled an efficient separation of oil spill from water, thus aiding in reduction of one of the major causes of water pollution in oceans.

To lead a good life healthcare is very much important. But it is very difficult to obtain the consultation with the doctor in case of any health issues. The proposed idea is to create a medical chatbot using machine learning that can diagnose the disease and provide basic details about the disease before consulting a doctor. To reduce the healthcare costs and improve accessibility to medical knowledge the medical chatbot is built. It helps the patient know more about their disease and helps to improve their health. The user can achieve the real benefit of a chatbot only when it can diagnose all kind of disease and provide necessary information.

Image inpainting is one of the image restoration techniques used for reconstruction of lost or damaged regions in an image. This image inpainting technique aims to refill the missing region of an image, which is visible to human eyes. It is done in such a way that human eyes could not identify that it has undergone some restoration. Image inpainting is applied for the restoration of old images, removing dust spots of an image, super- resolution, correction of the red-eye, object elimination in the digital photographs, creative changes by removing some objects, etc. The researchers have developed many such algorithms, each used for a certain purpose of image inpainting. This paper aims at reviewing the various techniques used for image inpainting.

Spatial hearing abilities are essential in everyday living situations losing which a sense of insecurity develops and also an individual may fall at risk becoming unaware of the signs of dangers. A questionnaire to tap on spatial hearing abilities (Spatial Hearing Handicap Index) was developed and validated in Tamil. A total of 119 normal hearing participants of age 11 to 70 years belonging to both gender groups were involved in the study. Comparisons were done between the age groups and gender groups. Although, differences were observed in the responses between gender groups and age groups, it was not statistically significant. This questionnaire can be used to identify and understand the areas where the patients have difficulty with respect to localisation, especially in case of hearing aid or amplificatory device users.

The adapting face of technology has played a fundamental role within the development of the hotel and Food and Beverage service industry. The document investigated the impact that technology has had on the hotel and Food and Beverage service industry. The information generation has produced a motion of technological applications, changing the way restaurants process and monitor transactions. One such application is a point-of-sale (POS) system. Handheld wireless POS systems are a transportable version of a POS system that is defined because of the time and place during which a transaction is formed. Point of sale computer systems includes Such a system of cashier and server ultimate typically handles food and beverage orders, transmission of orders to the kitchen and bar, guest bill settlement, timekeeping, and interactive charge posting to guest folios. POS information also can be imported to accounting and food cost/inventory software packages. A variation of reports is often created, including open check, cashier, voids/comps, sales analysis, menu mix, server sales summary, tips, labor cost, etc. Although POS systems are becoming reasonably priced, it is still recognized by many restaurant operators as a rather expensive proposition. Customers are the explanations restaurants are in business, and therefore the time saved by employing a handheld device is often wont to better serve the guests. While many claim that it can improve profitability.
