This article examines the multifaceted exploitation and marginalization of Dalit women as portrayed in select translated Bengali Dalit narratives, originally composed by Bengali Dalit writers such as Manoranjan Barman, Kapil Krishna Thakur, and Goutam Ali. It delves into the intersectionality of caste, class, and gender, revealing how these women endure compounded forms of oppression. By analyzing translated works, the study highlights the systemic discrimination that Dalit women face, emphasizing their struggles for identity, dignity, and justice within a patriarchal and casteist society. Through a critical examination of these narratives, the article seeks to bring to light the often-overlooked suffering of Dalit women, shedding new light on their resilience and resistance against entrenched social hierarchies.

Insulin, a pivotal hormone in glucose metabolism, has undergone significant scientific scrutiny since its discovery in 1921. This review article aims to encapsulate the advancements in our understanding of insulin's molecular mechanisms, therapeutic applications, and emerging trends in diabetes management. The review delves into the evolution of insulin therapies, from animal-derived formulations to modern recombinant DNA technologies, and the advent of biosimilar insulins. We discuss current innovations such as ultra-rapid-acting insulins, inhalable insulins, and the development of closed-loop insulin delivery systems. Additionally, the review addresses challenges in insulin therapy, including hypoglycemia management, insulin resistance, and the socioeconomic barriers impacting accessibility. By examining the integration of personalized medicine and digital health tools, this article underscores the future directions in insulin research and diabetes care.

Formulations that not only clean hands but also utilize the inherent antibacterial qualities of botanical extracts are of interest due to the growing demand for efficient hand sanitizers among consumers worldwide. Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) and neem (Azadirachta indica), which are highly valued in traditional medicine for their extensive antibacterial properties, make excellent additions to these mixtures. The goal of this introduction is to develop a herbal hand sanitizer that combines natural efficacy with the formulation advantages of Carbopol by integrating extracts from tulsi and neem into a gel based on Carbopol. This project aims to formulate an herbal hand sanitizer incorporating neem and tulsi extracts with Carbopol as a gelling agent. The goal is to develop a natural and effective sanitizer with antimicrobial properties and a user-friendly gel consistency

The beauty and wellness sectors are expanding rapidly in India due to growing affluence, improved lifestyle choices, and more awareness of preventive healthcare. Customers are increasingly looking for conventional medical and cosmetic goods made with natural ingredients that also have some level of medicinal action. Virgin coconut oil (VCO) is becoming more and more well-liked as a medicinal food supplement, neutraceutical, and cosmetic. Currently, using VCO for cosmetic formulation is a topic of intense research and commercial interest... A study was carried out at the Pilicode Regional Agricultural Research Station to develop a body lotion that included cocoa butter, bee wax, aloe vera, and fragrance elements in addition to virgin coconut oil as the base. Based on the findings of the sensory study, the optimal blend of body lotion that may be suggested for commercial manufacturing was determined to be composed of 76% virgin coconut oil, 12% aloe vera, 8% bee wax, 2% cocoa butter, and 2% rose oil. Keywords: body lotion, bee wax, virgin coconut oil, and sensory analysis.

Acyclovir, an antiviral medication commonly prescribed for the treatment of herpes simplex virus infections, is hindered by the limitations of conventional dosage forms, including the need for frequent dosing and poor patient compliance. To address these challenges, this study focused on the design and development of mucoadhesive tablets of acyclovir. These tablets were formulated using mucoadhesive polymers such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) and Carbopol 934P, in combination with other excipients.Tablets were prepared by direct compression and measured for mucoadhesion strength and in vitro dissolution parameters. The index (n) in all four formulations examined varied between 0.5273 and 0.7116, demonstrating non-Fickian release behavior due to coupling diffusion or polymer relaxation, providing control and complete release for up to 12 hours. Both polymers have a significant effect on the mucoadhesion force, measured as the separation force of the prepared tablets from the sheep gastric mucosa. In addition to clarifying the effect of the two factors on various response variables, this study will also help in finding a suitable formulation with good mucoadhesive potency and controlled drug release. It is seen that with the development of acyclovir mucoadhesive tablets, it is completely released before the absorption window, thus solving the problem of incomplete release and the absorption is not stable due to the increase in the duration of the drug's residence in the intestine

A significant monophagous insect in the sericulture sector is the silkworm (Bombyx mori L.). Due to the presence of chemo factors and antioxidants, mulberry leaves are valued plants rich in nutrients and nutraceuticals that are traditionally used in the rearing of silkworm larvae. The mulberry is regarded as a suitable plant for sustainable development and is utilized in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries. Starting at the start of the second and fourth instar, the silkworm larvae (Bombyx mori L.) are fed four different artificial diets. First instar larvae did not molten, and all of them died frequently. The lowest percentage of larval mortality and the highest weights of larvae, pupae, and fresh cocoons were seen when larvae fed on these diets from the start of their fourth instar and data was analyzed with test significant level is 0.081.
