 Abstract

District centres in class I metropolitan cities play a vital role in the overall development of the cities. The district centres influence the commercial and social activities of an area and must be designed in order to give the visitors a quality time. Over time, district centres have become mechanical in nature and cater to the needs of some sections of the society. Their role is to have certain amenities for everyone to visit once in a while. Thus it has been observed that the latest district centres target the upper class audience and ignore the middle and lower income groups. This can be solved by creation of an affordable informal market within the precinct of the district centre. At Nehru Place District Centre, an informal market has been developed organically over the course of time. Thus the district centre can be analysed on the basis of architectural design to see which factors affect the development of these informal markets. Form Based Codes are a way of regulating and designing certain areas to achieve a desirable public space. The aforementioned informal markets are best developed in open spaces and act as public areas. Thus the concepts of Form Based Codes can be implemented in district centres to achieve a public space that can be used as an informal market. These codes regulate various aspects of urban areas such as building form, landscapes, frontages, open spaces, civic spaces and streets. Thus these elements are studied with respect to district centres. The conclusions will include architectural recommendations for district centres from the point of view of Form Based Codes to promote informal markets and thus make district centres more efficient in achieving their motive of being a commercial area which has something for every section of the society.

There are already strict measures been taken to achieve a sustainable and eco-friendly development in further construction work. however, in the developing countries like India, china, Srilanka, Pakistan etc. they are far behind in achieving a sustainable development and eco-friendly construction. Also there is a lack of awareness amongst the people about this global issue in these developing countries like this paper presents need of sustainable development all over the globe especially in the developing countries like India, china which have a huge land mass and also developing rapidly and heading towards becoming the new superpowers of world soon in future. Also it includes the sustainable and economic studies with references to the Indian context with a supporting live recent case study of a newly designed and constructed luxurious residential bungalow in a small town in India.  Abstract

The present study is comparative in nature. In this study, the researcher compared the students attendance in each of the three modes s.t. conventional mode, audio conferencing mode using whatsapp, and video conferencing mode using zoom app. In the context of my department, it was found that more students were attended the online classes using whats app next to video conferencing mode. More girls were attended online classes than boys. Interestingly the rate of attendance through online mode especially using whats app was found amazing since more students participated in online teaching activities than the traditional mode. Therefore, it is concluded from the study that, online learning activities helped more students, then conventional mode. It is also suggested to prepare more self study materials to overcome such situations and our syllabus should include atleast 25% self guided contents which can be clarified from concerned faculty member in case of necessity.

 Abstract

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has the right to take part in the government of his/ her country. In India, the post - independence period has seen many positive steps to improve the socio- economic status of women. Women themselves are becoming keenly aware of their rights and are spreading movements across against all sort of social evils. This consciousness is largely due to increase in Women Literary although they have miles to go. With the rapid advancement of education, women are not only limited to the walls of the houses, they are venturing from their stereotype roles and seeking employment outside the homes. This impact of attitudes towards feminism have triggered the perception of women social role and this paper attempts to get an insight in the dual role of tribal working women both married and unmarried category in Tezu township which is the headquarter of lohit district Arunachal Pradesh, as a productive worker and a home maker and their satisfaction of both society and themselves.

 Abstract

To battle the growing population, farmers and innovators alike will need to come together to devise strategies to help farmers meet growing production demands. The world population is expected to grow More than a third, or 2.3 billion people, are between 2009 and 2050. This is a much slower rate from the growth seen in the past four Contracts grew during 3.3 billion People, or more than 90%. Almost all of them This growth is expected to occur in a year Developing countries[1], The Internet of Things allows agriculture, specifically arable farming, to become data-driven, which leads to timely production and management of farms at a lower cost, while reducing their impact on the environment , Automation in agriculture is a major concern and emerging issue worldwide , Various applications of AI in agriculture such as irrigation, weeding, sensor-assisted spraying and other methods included in robots and drones, Artificial intelligence technologies provide excessive use of water, pesticides, and herbicides, maintain soil fertility, and also help in the efficient use of human strength, raise productivity and improve quality. This paper survey the work of many researchers to get a brief overview of the effect of using internet of things and the artificial intelligence in the agricultural field.

 Abstract

Humanity has faced several challenges over and over again since the dawn of civilized existence and it continues to face them now as well. Technology has become a juggernaut in contemporary society. It has revolutionized the wedding sector to a great extent. The digital age has also lend a hand to the wedding industry to produce in leaps and bounds. The idea of destination weddings, themed functions, grand outdoor venues and beach weddings have brought many people to the limelight, thereby catching the attention of millions of people across the countryside. This paradigm shift has also permit free pass to the couples to accomplish their wild thoughts, thereby breaking the stereotypes. However, the outbreak of Covid-19 has severely hit all the latest trends of marriage. People have been cancelling their bookings and are waiting for the conditions to be normal in the country. Many of them have been giving priority to simple marriages at home in the presence of few family members, keeping in view the guidelines of the government of India. This paper likes to conclude that this pandemic and subsequent lockdown has taught us to change, improve and admit the realities of life with a high degree of resilience. Furthermore, this deadly disease is going to stay and it is high time that we should bring a change in the trends of marriage so as to adjust easily to the new challenges that coronavirus has brought for the human race.

 Abstract

The endeavor to ensure a decent standard of living, which is a constitutionally guaranteed right, has always been at the core of labour issues in the country. The Central Government in pursuance of the powers under Minimum Wages Act, 1948 has thrived to create a balance regarding pay parity in various industries. Until last year, the minimum wages was regulated under Minimum Wages Act, 1948, when the Parliament passed Code on Wages Act, 2019. Code on Wages Act, 2019 replaced four legislations Minimum Wages Act, 1948; Payment of Wages Act, 1936; Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 and Equal Remuneration Act, 1976. The new Code prohibits employer from paying workers less than the stipulated minimum wage and also imposes a condition that minimum wage must be reviewed and revised by Central and State Government at an interval of not more than five years. Due to constitutional set up, both state and centre can legislate on matter related to labour welfare which leads to multifarious jurisdictional issues, however, even after months of being enacted the Code still remains to be implemented at the ground level. Inadequacy on the part of the Government provides a platform for the intervention of the Courts. The Courts have in innumerable cases frowned upon the inadequacy of the data or consideration of obsolete data in formulation of wage structure. The authors in this paper have analysed the approach of Supreme Court in India with respect to fixation of minimum wages in the country.

 Abstract

Today, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and other digital technologies are profoundly creating a demand for new professions with evolved digital skills. Educational institutions must adopt these technologies in order to promote digital skills development and empower students to lead active and creative digital lives. Recently, the education sector is ready to witness a revolution with robotics process automation (RPA) technology. RPA offers traditional companies a pathway to digital transformation. It focuses on the elimination of inefficiencies and the effort of human resources that is wasted while executing mundane tasks. RPA helps teachers, educators, students as well as parents directly or indirectly. This solution revolutionizes the education sector as sorting out the registration, reduction in processing time, automating attendance and making sense of it all and improved administration. The objective of this research article is to introduce RPA in education and propose an RPA model to the smart education system. RPA can help out here by saving time and under a budget which is a limited & crucial resource for educational institutes.
