 Abstract

Postcolonial nations, despite achieving political sovereignty, continue to experience cultural subjugation. Postcolonial theories endeavor to eradicate these cultural vestiges. Scholars argue that in the Indian subcontinent, Aryan colonialism perpetuates alongside European colonialism. This paper investigates the mechanisms of decolonization in the Bengali novel "Seetayanam" by Mallika Sengupta. The novel critically examines the Ramrajya, identified as the foundational institution of Aryan colonialism, and elucidates its oppressive impact on marginalized groups, including women, indigenous communities, and the environment, while perpetuating hegemonic masculine power structures.

 Abstract

An effervescent floating tablet formulation of Acebutolol hydrochloride was developed to enhance bioavailability by improving stomach retention. Using a direct compression method, various synthetic and natural polymers were evaluated. Effervescent agents, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, were incorporated with polymers to lower the dosage form's density below that of gastric fluid, thereby extending gastric residence time. FTIR analysis was employed for drug identification, followed by the creation of floating tablets to assess polymer effects on swelling and buoyancy. Drug-excipient compatibility studies and FTIR comparisons with pure drug indicated no interactions in the optimal formulation. Stability tests confirmed unchanged post-compression parameters. The most effective combination of sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and karaya gum (FA7) resulted in a floating lag time of 1 second, total floating time of 590 minutes, and 98.91% release after 600 minutes. Release kinetics analysis revealed adherence to a zero-order non-fickian diffusion-controlled system. The study found no drug-excipient interactions and demonstrated that Acebutolol hydrochloride floating tablets with karaya gum (FA7) mitigate plasma concentration fluctuations associated with frequent dosing of conventional immediate-release forms by prolonging gastric residence time

 Abstract

The term Democracy refers to a government chosen by the people, whether it is direct or representative. This word "democracy" (Demo (people) and (Crates (rule) was coined in ancient Greek called Athenian democracy, originally has two distinguishing features: firstly the allotment of ordinary citizens to government offices and courts and secondly the assembly of the citizens. Accountability and transparency are the two eyes of democracy. People are the master and they have right to watch the performance and business of the government. They have right to know that how they are being governed. Veil of secrecy restricts the vision of the citizens to see the working of government. In the present scenario knowledge has become the most valuable resource. Corruption and abuse of power are the inevitable fall outs of an unaccountable system of governance. The right to information when vested in people can act as a deterrent against corruption and abuse of power. The right to information is a means to ensure open government and to empower the people. The Right to Information Act, 2005 has categorically disclosed information's related to public authorities to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.

 Abstract

The aim of this analysis is to present, evaluate, and talk about the literature related to the earlier findings on road surfacing in pavement engineering reinforcement. In order to bolster the argument for the importance of fiber-reinforced asphalt pavement, this paper also reviews the history and current state of road surfacing. The development of transportation plays an important role in the development of nation. With flexible pavements being widely used in India, steps must be taken to increase the life of the bituminous pavements. Flexible pavements are often plagued with problems of cracking and rutting due to repeated traffic loads. Hence one needs to address these problems in order to improve the performance of flexible pavements. In this paper, a review of the background and present status of road surfacing is also provided for supportive explanation of the significance of fiber-reinforced asphalt pavement HMA and its role in providing effective and durable surfacing for heavy-trafficked roads. Numerous research' findings support the notion that the fiber particularly improves the optimum bitumen content in the design of the mixture and halts the bitumen leakage due to its asphalt absorbing susceptibility. Fiber modifies the visco-elastic response, susceptibility against moisture, increase resistance to rutting, as well as lowers the pavement fatigue cracking.

 Abstract

Pipelining is a critical technique in modern computer architecture that enhances CPU performance by overlapping the execution of instructions. This paper presents a comparative study between three-stage and five-stage pipelining architectures. By examining factors such as throughput, latency, complexity, and hazard management, the study aims to highlight the trade-offs and benefits of each pipeline depth

 Abstract

This research delves into the connection between adverse psychosocial experiences during childhood and the attachment styles that individuals develop as adults within a group of 200 participants. The study, employing a correlational research approach, delves into how adverse early-life incidents are linked to the emergence of secure, preoccupied, dismissive, and fearful patterns of attachment later in life. The participants, divided equally by gender, were selected using a parametric snowball sampling technique. Data gathering utilized two main tools: the Childhood Adverse Experiences Questionnaire (CAQ) and the Attachment Style Questionnaire (ASQ). The CAQ, comprising 30 items, scrutinizes different aspects of childhood adversity such as psychosocial challenges, familial difficulties, and emotional abuse. On the other hand, the ASQ assesses secure, preoccupied, dismissive, and fearful attachment styles through a 24-item Likert scale. The results demonstrate noteworthy correlations between childhood psychosocial adversity and adult attachment styles. Particularly, psychosocial adversity exhibited a robust positive association with preoccupied attachment (r = .478, p < .01) and fearful attachment (r = .564, p < .01), indicating that higher levels of early adversity are linked to a greater likelihood of adopting these insecure attachment patterns. Moreover, significant relationships were identified between psychosocial adversity and both dismissive attachment (r = .333, p < .01) and secure attachment (r = .191, p < .01), although the latter displayed a negative trend. The outcomes emphasize the significant influence of childhood psychosocial adversity on the development of adult attachment styles. Greater exposure to adverse situations during childhood correlates with an increased probability of forming insecure attachment styles like preoccupied and fearful attachments, which can result in notable difficulties in emotional regulation and relationship dynamics in adulthood. The study accentuates the necessity for early interventions designed to alleviate the consequences of childhood adversity and foster healthier attachment outcomes.
