 Abstract

This work is primarily concerned with the concepts of PEB and CSB. In steel construction, pre-engineered building (PEB) systems are state-of-the-art for creating cost-effective, ecologically friendly, and long-lasting buildings. The Prefabricated Building (PEB) concept is a new one-story industrial building concept. Because of its lightweight and cost-effective design, this technology can be employed in a variety of ways. For buildings with roof trusses, this idea has several advantages over the traditional steel structure (CSB) concept. The work is a 60 m long, 15 m wide & 60m long, 20m wide industrial building with an assumed roof truss slope of 5.71 degrees and Bay spacing is 6m. The eave height is 6m. These structures were STAAD pro v8i is used for analysis and design to compare PEB and conventional steel trusses. PEB design is based on US code AISC 360:10 and CSB design is based on Indian code IS800:2007. According to IS800:2007 and AISC, the loads considered in the analysis are dead loads, traffic loads, and wind loads, as well as various combinations. Dead weight per IS: 875 (Part 1)-1987. Payload is obtained based on IS: 875(Part-2)-1987. Wind loads per IS: 875 (Part 3)-2015.

 Abstract

Most of the currently used products for repairing and conditioning hair rely on the deposition of complex formulations, based on mixtures involving macromolecules and surfactants, onto the surface of hair fibers. This leads to the partial covering of the damaged areas appearing in the outermost region of capillary fibers, which enables the decrease of the friction between fibers, improving their manageability and hydration. The optimization of shampoo and conditioner formulations necessitates a careful examination of the di_erent physicochemical parameters related to the conditioning mechanism, e.g., the thickness of the deposits, its water content, topography or frictional properties. This review discusses di_erent physicochemical aspects which impact the understanding of the most fundamental bases of the conditioning process.

 Abstract

The subject of strength and total structural load is presented, accompanied by a formula that assesses the stability of rock foundations. Designing foundations for large structures is a complex and time-consuming task due to the numerous load combinations and simultaneous influences from various types of equipment and installations. The success of local economies relies on the reliability of these engineering structures. Regardless of the soil conditions, all buildings are classified into the third geotechnical category due to the substantial investments and high costs involved. The foundations of buildings must meet or exceed safety standards, ensuring effective communication between the equipment and nearby objects. It is crucial to adhere to stringent requirements regarding overall vertical displacement of the foundation and differential settlements between different foundation locations, guaranteeing optimal performance of the equipment. Experimental determination of rock qualities, such as compressive strength, and comprehensive structural load calculations are performed to analyze the strength of foundations

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aim of this review is to know more about the anti - ulcer property of the medicinal plants[1]. Nowadays acidity and ulcer very common causing huge suffering to humans with ulcers being a matter of concern due to high chances of recurrence and mortality. Peptic ulcers have mortality of 30% and morbidity up to 50% [2]. Ulcer is a common gastrointestinal disorder which is seen among many people. It is basically an inflamed break in the skin or the mucus membrane lining the alimentary tract. Ulceration occurs when there is a disturbance of the normal equilibrium caused by either enhanced aggression or diminished mucosal resistance. It may be due to the regular usage of drugs, irregular food habits, stress, and so forth [3]. Peptic ulcer is one of the most common gastrointestinal diseases. The exact causes of peptic ulcer disease are not known but it may be result from an imbalance between acid-pepsin secretion and mucosal defence factors. Peptic ulcer disease occurs mainly due to consumption of NSAIDs, infection by H. pylori, stress, or due to a pathological condition such as Zollinger -Ellison Syndrome[4]. This article reviews the features of some of the plants like Acacia arabica , Adansonia digitata , Allium sativum , Aloe vera , Carica papaya , Ficus religiosa , Hibiscus Rosa sinensis , Jasminum grandiflorum , Mangifera Indica Linn , Mimosa pudina , Musa paradisiacal , Ocimum sanctum Linn , psidium guyava , Zingiber officinalis roscoe are reported to possess antiulcer and ulcer healing properties[1].

 Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a growing health problem in the world that causes severe morbidity and mortality. The prevalence of diabetes was rising day by day.The facts about the diabetes mellitus, its prevalence, morbidity, and mortality were published in many statistical reports. Diabetes mellitus (DM), or simply diabetes, is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the body does not produce enough insulin, or because cells do notrespond to the insulin that is produced. This high blood sugar produces the classical symptoms of polyuria (frequent urination), polydipsia (increased thirst) and polyphagia (increased hunger)

 Abstract

One of the earliest techniques in forensic science is the development of fingerprints, which is a popular technique for identifying criminals. Due to their ease of use and effectiveness, the powder and ninhydrin methods remain the most popular ones in forensic investigation. Latent fingerprint detection is frequently done using powder dusting. In order to replace expensive, toxic, and complex powders, we need to find a cheap, non-toxic, widely accessible powder. For the visualisation of latent finger prints, we use corn seed powder in this method. Determining the most affordable and accessible household powder used in Indian homes for the purpose of developing fingerprints. The majority of rigide cases showed clear ridge detail on different surfaces in the results, as opposed to rigides developed using non-conventional powder. This paper describes the use of a non-conventional powder for the visualisation of latent fingerprints on porous, semi-porous, and non-porous surfaces.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: The recent years scientific and technological advancements have been made in the research and development of oral drug delivery systems. The reasons that the oral route achieved such popularity may be primarily due to its ease of administration. Chewing gum is one of the very popular oral confectionary products. It is a potentially useful means of administering drugs either locally or systematically via, the oral cavity. The medicated chewing gum has through the recent years gained increasing acceptance as a drug delivery system. Chewing gum known as gum base (insoluble gum base resin) contains elastomers, emulsifiers, fillers, waxes, antioxidants, softeners, sweeteners, food colorings, flavoring agents, and in case of medical chewing gum, active substances. It offers various advantages over conventional drug delivery systems. Unlike chewable tablets, medicated chewing gums are not supposed to be swallowed and may be removed from the site of application without resorting to invasive means.2 Potential applications of medicated chewing gums are highly widespread as they will be recognized in future. Nowadays standards for qualifying chewing gums are the same as tablets. Patient- centered studies include medicated chewing gums as a delivery system too which creates compliance for patients.
