The problem of extensive use of alcohol is seriously affecting our social, economic and political culture and also creating several other problems in the society. The increasing crime rate especially among the children is due to the spreading use of alcohol and drugs. It has created new type of challenges before the administration, Government and families. The proposed paper covers various factors of the problem. The proposed paper aims to analyze the national issues especially in case of alcohol and other problems related to the matter. The outcome of this academic activity will try to identify the loopholes in the system and suggest the most suitable remedies to the Government and society both. India has several policies and laws related to alcohol and several reforms have been initiated by the Government on time to time but it is witnessed that the effects of these policies are either not as par the expectation or the changes are slower than the problem increases. The related policies and laws are: The Dangerous Drug Act, 1930, The Drug and Cosmetic Act, 1940, Narcotic Drugs, 1961, Psychotropic Substances Act, 1971, Illicit Trafficking Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, NDPS Amendments Act, 1989, 2001 & 2014, Custom Duty Act and other related laws. In todays era, if we think government and revenue point of view, alcohol or liquor products can be important for collection of revenue, but if we see the interest of the society and per person, then negative effects can also be seen, so there is need for revenue from such products or sources should be collected which can contribute to the positive development of the economy along with the country and society.

The exploitation of Ogoni land finds no dissent in mainstream world, it was Ken Saro Wiwa, who through his power of poetry brought the plight of Ogoni people on the world stage. Abstract- when we look around us, we can see unused plastic that is accumulated through domestic and industries activities (e.g. Plastic bottles, bags and micro beads) Etc. This waste does not rot because it is non-bio degradable and therefore it remains in nature. In India public organization such as municipal corporations work to collect as well dispose of solid waste and dumped outside at open space far from city which causes air and soil pollution. To overcome this problem we have suggested using the plastic waste in cement concrete. The ingredients generally used for preparing cement concrete are cement and inert material .the inert material that is fine and coarse aggregate can be replaced by waste plastic. Waste plastic is an inorganic in nature so it does not alter the chemical properties and also it does not affect the consistency and quality of cement concrete. The waste plastic can be reduced to some extent from the environment as its used in cement concretes this is a new contribution for future and field of concrete technology. The use of waste plastic in cement concrete replaced 10% to 15 % by weight of inert material will reduced the cost and may increase the quality of concrete .

Perini (Preruni as per Bharat?r?ava treatise)! Now-a-days perini got popularity as perini Tandava. Is it a tandava (A mode of presentation)? Or L?sya(A mode of presentation)? But the word Preruni was primal explained by Nandikeshwara in his treatise Bharat?r?ava he elucidated in Sapta L?syas (Seven L?syas) as one of the L?syas. If we go through the treatise Bharat?r?ava then we get a clarity regarding what Perini is?

Social media has truly revolutionised the way in which students interact, communicate and socialise. It is an integral part of their everyday life and has become tool of staying in touch with friends and also facilitating schoolwork. As a result, the students have been found to spend a considerable amount of time on social media and are the largest users of this available technology. This descriptive study therefore aims at studying the social media usage among university students from Mumbai and its perceived impact on students social life and academic performance. For this purpose, an online web page survey via a Google form was circulated among students from various universities across Mumbai and data was collected from 155 students. The responses were analysed using descriptive statistical tools (mean, median and mode). The results indicated that the most commonly used social media platform was WhatsApp, and the sampled students spend at least 1 hour on social media on a daily basis. Majority of the students use social media for being in touch with friends and obtaining new information. Students not only consume fun content on social media (which includes memes and funny videos) but they also use social media for current affairs and politics. When it comes to social media addiction, nearly 50% of the students found themselves saying just a few more minutes and further results indicate that students are addicted to social media. This social media addiction has resulted into certain negative effects on students social life like changes in sleeping schedule, etc. Moreover, the study also revealed that students were of a neutral opinion about social media having any impact on their academic performance, but some facts revealed from the study indicate that students are unwilling to prioritise academic activities to social media usage. Hence it leaves a scope for higher level of research in this area in the future. In a nutshell, social media has both positive uses and a negative impact but productive use of social media is recommended to not only improve academic performance of students, but also in improving social interactions.
