Police has important role in the criminal justice process in India. The main objectives of the Police are to provide immediate help to the victim, to take preventive actions, to arrest the accused, to investigate fairly the crime, to enforce and to maintain law and order situation. The Police investigation is the back bone of the criminal justice process, we cannot expect to be fair justice without the fair and genuine investigation by Police. But after the Nirbhaya gang rape case and several other cases of heinous crime, the Government and recently the Supreme Court of India have felt the need to reform the Police accordingly to the recent amendments in Criminal law. This critical study has an assertion and provided some suggestions to the knowledge of intricacies of Police investigation, role of Police in criminal justice system of India and need to reform the Police system in India.

Voice stress analysis (VSA) is collectively a pseudoscientific technology that aims to infer deception from stress measured in the voice. The technology aims to differentiate between stressed and non-stressed outputs in response to stimuli (e.g., questions posed), with high stress seen as an indication of deception. In this work, we propose a deep learning-based psychological stress detection model using speech signals. With increasing demands for communication between humans and intelligent systems, automatic stress detection is becoming an interesting research topic. Stress can be reliably detected by measuring the level of specific hormones (e.g., cortisol), but this is not a convenient method for the detection of stress in human- machine interactions. The proposed algorithm first extracts Mel- filter bank coefficients using pre-processed speech data and then predicts the status of stress output using a binary decision criterion (i.e., stressed or unstressed) using CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) and dense fully connected layer networks.

This paper looks upon the status of Indias trade-off with the Corona Virus pandemic in areas of health, education, economic participation, and social opportunities. In the process it establishes a comparison between India and the globe on various dimensions and tries to analyze the spill-overs of this global pandemic. Emphasis has been given to the trade off in sectors of Education, Health and Economy, thus giving a detailed account of the overall condition of India and discusses the possible reasons for the results obtained. The paper focuses on how these impending times have proven to be positive spill overs.

The paper aims at investigating how literature down the lanes of time became the beacon light in the times of pandemic alleviating overall impact of widespread viral pandemics. In addition to that paper also catalogues representative examples of literature from selected nations from Homer to incumbent poet laureate of England, all that tried to dress up the human wounds in a parade of disappointments and naked dance of death. Nonetheless, it also thrives upon how literature has shaping effect on society during the pestilence

Health is the balanced state of life and harmonious performance of the vital force while disease is the only changed state of health and there must be a cause behind it which manifest itself through abnormal sign and symptoms. Homoeopathy can restore the health and remove all disagreeable sign and symptoms in a rapid, gentle and permanent way on easily comprehensible principles ie., "Similia Similibus Curentur" which means like cures like. The sufferings regarding nocturnal enuresis such as incontinence urine, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, etc, homoeopathy can deal it better by a wide range of medicines with their proven symptoms. This study is to search the cause behind nocturnal enuresis and availability of homoeopathic medicines related to it. Homoeopathic treatment is the most efficient therapy provides a gentle approach in treating bed wetting. A detailed homoeopathic case taking and treating with an individualized homoeopathic remedy gives us an assured result in cases of nocturnal enuresis.

The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between emotional maturity and self-esteem among college students with the age group of 18-22. The sample of the study comprised of 100 students 50 male and 50 female. The Emotional Maturity of the students was measured by using Emotional Maturity Scale (EMS) developed by Singh and Bhargava (1984) and self-esteem was measured by using Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI) developed by M.S.Prasad and G.P.Thakur.

We make use of the VLSI technology to implement this switching network from mega to gigahertz. It is a universally useful for high-speed communication in wide, neighbourhood, and framework zone networking, supporting a mixture of services from constant source. For this we use should update our conventional switch which we use in our current applications as a part of our ATM switching network.

Traditional Mizo food is cooked in a simple manner, typically boiled, stewed, smoked, steamed, or fermented. However due to the influence and import of eatable good, many food habit have been modified. Mizos have adapted to and adopted practices in food preparation that were hitherto alien to them. In the study, the dietary pattern and diversity of food consumption in rural and urban women between 25 to 55 years of age was analyzed. The research was conducted within Aizawl District. The study observe a significance difference in the intake of non-vegetarian (F=77.57, P=0.000), nuts (F=165.18, P=0.000), oil (F=144.64, P=0.000), milk (F=43.10, P=0.000) and sugar (F=54.66, P=0.000) between rural and urban respondents at 1% level. The number of respondents who consume milk daily was more in urban areas (91%) than in rural areas (77%). Meat, egg and fish are consumed 2 to 4 times a week by the majority of urban respondents (62%) as well as half of the rural (50%) respondents.

Humanity grows as technology grows. Growth is complete only when it is uniform and common. In places where growth is uneven, technology steps in and happens to be the game changer. Ours is one such project that is aimed at bringing uniformity in the navigation of visually challenged people just like the common people. The project aims to aid the safe navigation of the visually impaired people. This helps the individual in reaching the destination, guiding them throughout the way and warning them about the obstacles that are awaiting their way through vibration and synthetic speech output by means of a headset. Thus preventing them from colliding with the obstacles. This adds on value to the conventional cane that has been used since ages. It makes use of an ultrasonic sensor to calculate the distance from the obstacle, a NodeMCU upon which the operational program and all the other components are based, a vibration motor to alert the person and an IR sensor to detect the obstacles through IR rays. Along with the function of guiding, it also has a backup protection plan in case of emergency. Wherein an alert message containing his location is sent to the persons predetermined friend through GPS and GSM which is enabled through Wi-Fi module, thereby preventing any further complications. A pulse sensor is also used to have a basic monitoring of the persons pulse rate. Thus, the project assures the visually impaired people to travel alone safely and confidently without the fear of getting lost or meeting with accidents anymore.
