Worldwide, approximately 73% of the population remains uncovered by adequate social protection schemes. This is attributed by the fact that, social protection mechanisms in most low-income countries, to a large extent cover only formal sector workers while overlooking the majority in informal sector. For example, in Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries, social insurance is limited to those in formal wage employment while social assistance is generally poorly funded and restricted to the urban areas. This paper sought to assess coping strategies towards sustaining income security among elderly worked in informal sector in Dodoma region. The research aimed at studying elderly who worked in informal sector bearing in mind that, workers in informal sector to a large extent are deprived of social and economic rights. The findings have revealed that in the absence of universal social protection mechanisms including universal old age pension, older people are involving in different activities so as to cope with different hardships and earn a living. Indeed, the study has reveled that most of coping mechanisms employed by elderly are non-regulated, uncoordinated and erratic including begging, supports from family network and casual labour. In employing their coping mechanisms elderly are faced with challenges including lack of elderly legislation, community negative perception towards ageism, poor physical health, financial constraints and lack of entrepreneurial skills.

Covid-19, an infectious respiratory virus is characterized as a pandemic by global health bodies that threatened the rate of healthy life expectancy across the geographies to a great extent. Eventually, to neutralize the effect including India counterpart nations have adopted the plan of temporary closures leaves no sign of progress. Instead, grappling with the survival console as a strategy to adapt to the new normal by addressing the needs and preferences of the customers. Our line of research is towards FMCG because, it contributes a valuable proportion in the charter of Indian economy. This study covers the crucial impacts of covid-19 on FMCG and how organizations defending the shift in consumption trend globally.

Now this is the age of speed. Everything happens in the speed of supersonic. The data can be transferred at the speed of light in the digital medium, can travel in the supersonic speed, hence there is a need of information inflow in the same speed. Here is one such need of information fast enough. We have experienced in waiting to a transport terminals for transport controllers to get the information about the transport facility. We encounter so many times there will be no person for providing these information which significantly wastes the time just to know whether there is any facility or not. Here is one solution for such a problem which less the human intervention in providing such information in the transport terminals. Voice Based Automated Transport Enquiry System is the enquiry system which operates based on the voice input given by the user. This system too uses the voice commands and gives the required information in the form of voice. This system is can be installed in any transport terminal like Bus stands, Railway terminals or airports.

The roads play a vital role in the development of the country. The quality of the road should be perfect so that the transportation could be safe and luxurious, in actual, there are plenty of roads are not following the requirement. When roads do not match with quality measurement, then it causes the damage. Proper drainage is very concerning part in construction of road. We know that how water in pavement creates major problem in premature pavement failure. To stop or reduce premature pavement failures and to strengthen the road performance, it is imperative to provide adequate drainage. There are different ways by which water could enter the pavement that are water logging on the surface of the road and leading to seepage of water into the payment cause road failure. Water collection in road layer causes the reduction in bearing strength of the road. Presence of water for long time on the road surface results in high maintenance difficulties. The purpose of this study is to illustrates the reason for drainage problem and also to provide proper remedial measures for the pavement road.

Traffic management system is considered as one of the major dimensions of a smart city with the rapid growth of population and urban mobility in metropolitan cities, traffic congestion is often run on roads. To tackle various issues for managing traffic on roads and to help authorities in proper planning, a smart traffic management system using the IOT. A hybrid approach is used to optimize traffic flow on roads and algorithm is deviced to manage various traffic situations efficiently. For this purpose we manage the traffic signals according to the density of traffic on roads. According to the traffic signals in order to control traffic on roads we are implementing tollgates. The signals are managed by using the IR sensors. We use solar panels for continuous power supply. In case an emergency vehicle present in the traffic where the gate is closed this can be managed by using blynk software application. This will be installed in the emergency vehicle and operated by the vehicle driver.

India features a rich tradition of ancient tales and stories. The stories not only amuse but also reflect on the culture that prevailed. Apart from anticipations, escapades, and sentiments, they also discourse ethical principles and philosophy, rich in connotation. From ancient days women are considered to be the weaker sex. However, they had a high status in the scriptures. They are preached as a goddess. They are considered as the perfect homemaker in the cosmos. They are capable to confront any sort of difficulties and easily cover the position. Most of the Indian women are committed to their families. Their condition remains unchanged even during the contemporary world with only minimal changes. Amrita Pritams first debut novel Pinjar, later it was translated into English titled The Skeleton by Kushwat Singh and it is filmed in the year 1970. The novel Pinjar, one of the best novels depicts the pathetic situation of women during the partition of India. The protagonist Pooro a young Hindu girl engaged to Ramchand. Later she is abducted by a Muslim man named Rashida. The story portrays the cruelty of India and Pakistan partition, as affected the lives of many people. The paper entitled The Power of Women: Healing from Trauma seeks to explore the story of Pooro, even though her life begins with suppression and depression, gradually gains courage and confidence through the other few female characters she encounters. She turned all her negatives into positives. She became the inspiration for the whole villagers. As the men say, let the women be the weaker sex, but they have the power to overcome their traumas by self-healing.

We have attempted to interpret existing n-cov positive data in India with respect to other countries - Italy, USA, China and South Korea. We have mainly zoomed in the exponential growth in a particular zone of time axis, which is well followed in the data profile of India and Italy but not in others. A deviation from exponential growth to Sigmoid function is analyzed in the data profile of China and South Korea. Projecting that pattern to time dependent data of total number and new cases in India, we have drawn three possible Sigmoid functions, which saturate to cases 10^4 , 10^5 , 10^6 . Ongoing data has doubtful signal of those possibilities and future hope is probably in extension of lock-down and additional imposition of interventions.

Expansive soils contain minerals such as smectite clays that are capable of absorbing water. When they absorb water, they increase in volume. The more water they absorb, the more their volume increases. Expansions of ten percent or more are not uncommon. This change in volume can exert enough force on a pavement, building or other structure to cause damage. The road stretch from Nekempte and Gudar road in Ethiopia are having pavement foundation failure, severe rutting and eroded surface and base courses. These kinds of failures are noticed in particular points of road stretch and the causes of failure are examined. Though the soil shows the expansive soil properties and the region shows high rainfall, the foundation of pavement failed to provide good support for the moving vehicles axles. To increase the strength parameters of soil by stabilizing the soil with fly ash and geo polymers. The results are good to provide the replacement of fly ash and geo polymer in the stabilization of expansive soil.
