Periodontal therapy is indicated in cases where there is a destruction of the periodontal ligament, the root cementum and the alveolar bone primarily caused by the bacteria found in the dental plaque. An ideal periodontal therapy aims to reduce pocket probing depth and gain in clinical attachment level. Conventional periodontal therapy results in attaining the above entities and reduces the inflammation but often results in gingival recession and the integrity of the papilla is usually not preserved. Hence, papilla preservation flaps were introduced, as it minimizes the post operative recession and preserves the integrity of the papilla. In this case report, conventional papilla preservation technique was done.

In our data-driven society, secure access to remote data storage and computation services is paramount. This paper introduces a novel biometric-based authentication protocol for secure cloud server access. Utilizing a user's biometric data as a secret credential, we derive a unique identity to generate their private key. Additionally, we propose an efficient method to establish a session key between communicating parties using biometric templates for secure message transmission. With detailed security analyses and formal verification, our approach withstands various known attacks. Extensive experiments and comparative studies underscore the efficiency and effectiveness of our proposed protocol.

This study tackles the surging global electricity demand with a focus on efficient energy management. Emphasizing the need for accurate demand forecasting, it employs machine learning (ML) methods and distributed demand response initiatives. Through rigorous evaluation of various ML algorithms for short-term load forecasting (STLF), including logistic regression, support vector machines, and neural networks, the research identifies the decision tree classifier (DTC) as the top performer. Additionally, an enhanced DTC (EDTC) is proposed, integrating advanced features to refine control variables. Results showcase EDTC's superior forecast accuracy and performance metrics. Furthermore, an extension utilizing the XGBoost classifier demonstrates 100% accuracy in predicting high or low demand without additional tuning parameters, offering a streamlined alternative to the EDTC approach.

This project proposes a machine learning model based on the co-existence of static features for Android malware detection. The proposed model assumes that Android malware requests an abnormal set of co-existed permissions and APIs in comparing to those requested by benign applications. To prove this assumption, the paper created a new dataset of co-existed permissions and API calls at different levels of combinations, which are the second level, the third level, the fourth level and the fifth level. The extracted datasets of co-existed features at different levels were applied on permissions only, APIs only, permissions and APIs, and APIs and APIs frequencies.

Abstract: In Tamil Nadu, India, the PUDHUMAI PENN SCHEME (PPS) is a crucial program that aims to empower omen through education and skill development. This study explores the extent to which Coimbatore City college students are aware of the PPS. Structured questionnaires were used to gather data from a sample of college students using a quantitative technique. The results of the analysis showed that respondent level of awareness varied, underscoring the necessity for improved dissemination tactics to optimize the scheme effectiveness. In order to increase awareness and involvement in the PPS and eventually promote gender empowerment, policymaker, educator, and stakeholders can benefits greatly from the insightful information provided by the findings.

Every year thousands of people in India lose their lives due to traffic accidents. The role of human factor plays a key role in the accidents. In general, the driver fatigue alone accounts for around 25 percent of the road accidents and up to 60 percent of road accidents result in death or serious injury. A main cause of fatigue is sleeplessness or insomnia. So, a drivers' drowsiness state is a major factor in severe road accidents that claims thousands of lives every year. The proposed system algorithm's robust performance in detecting drowsiness through face, the system also incorporates a unique feature to enhance its accuracy. By analyzing the orientation of the driver's head, specifically detecting instances where the head tilts either left or right, the system further refines its assessment of drowsiness. This additional parameter helps capture subtle signs of fatigue, such as the head nodding or leaning characteristic of drowsy driving. The system utilizes a facial land mark algorithm for face detection, minimizing the risk of inaccuracies associated with artificial feature extraction. Leveraging the Dlib toolkit, facial landmarks are identified, and the Eyes Aspect Ratio is introduced as a novel parameter for evaluating drowsiness. A fatigue state classifier, based on trained on Eyes Aspect Ratio data, contributes to the real-time monitoring of the driver. To gauge the gradual onset of fatigue, a variable is introduced, calculated as the number of drowsy frames per unit time. This dynamic assessment adds a temporal dimension to the drowsiness detection process, allowing the system to adapt to changing driver conditions. Simulated driving applications demonstrate the system's ability to quickly detect drowsiness in real-time from 640*480 resolution images at over 20fps, achieving an impressive accuracy of 98.80%.

Portfolio management, the process of selecting investments to meet specific objectives, has increasingly turned to PHP for its robust capabilities in analyzing data and creating visual representations. With PHP libraries like PHP-ML and PHP Data, investors can gather and analyze investment data, while visualization tools like Chart.js and FusionCharts help them understand their investments' performance and identify areas for improvement. Advanced analytics techniques supported by PHP have greatly influenced investment practices by improving the accuracy of risk and return predictions and helping investors build portfolios tailored to their needs. However, challenges remain, such as ensuring transparency in models and reliability of data. Notable applications of PHP in portfolio management include credit assessment and financial prediction, offering investors valuable insights to make informed decisions.

The ambition of the study is to establish the association amidst public networking, specifically addiction to Instagram, and narcissism amongst both males and females. It suggests that Instagram, as a platform, fosters narcissistic tendencies such as a grandiose self-image and a craving for external validation. Employing a correlational comparative research approach, the study draws conclusions from a review of 15 relevant journals using keywords like "Instagram addiction" and "narcissism". Data collection involved a simple random sampling method, gathering responses from 120 participants through self-report questionnaires distributed physically and via Google Forms. The results indicate a significant link between narcissism and Instagram addiction. Notably, there's a significant divergence in the levels of narcissism and Instagram addiction among males, while the findings for females are comparatively weaker.

Customer perception towards online and offline shopping can vary depending on various factors such as personal preferences, past experiences, convenience and accessibility. Offline shopping is known as brick and mortar shopping can offer customers the opportunity to physically examine and test products before making a purchase. It can also provide a more personalized shopping experience, where customers can receive help and advice from knowledgeable staff. However, offline shopping can be time consuming and may involve travel, and may not offer the same range of products and prices as online shopping. On the other hand, online shopping has gained immense popularity in recent years due to the convenience it offers. Customers can shop from the comfort of their homers, without having to physically visit a store. They can also easily compare prices and products from different retailers, which can lead to better deals and savings. However, online shopping can also be seen as impersonal, and there can be concerns around the security of personal and financial information.
