In this article, we demonstrate how deep learning was used to implement handwritten character recognition in Marathi. Because of its significant contribution to automation systems, handwritten character recognition is becoming more important. One of the several language scripts used in India is the Devanagari script. There are 12 vowels and 36 consonants in it. Here, we used a deep learning model to implement character recognition. Pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, prediction, and post-processing are the five main phases in character recognition. To train the model and employ character recognition and anticipate the accuracy of recognition, the model will make use of convolutional neural networks and image processing techniques.

The goal of the current analysis is to examine how children in the Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu perceive about the environment. 286 samples from the research area were taken using the random sampling technique. Use of the normative survey method was made. The goal of this study is to ascertain the levels of environment attitudes among school pupils and determine whether there are any notable differences between the sub-samples and predictors that have been chosen. This study makes use of the Environmental Attitude Scale that researchers Dr. D. Ponmozhi and G. Ranjitha developed and validated in 2023. The five dimensions of environmental attitude are covered by the 40 statements that make up this scale: Garden Management, Air & Soil Pollution, Water Recycling, Environmental Awareness, and Sources of Energy & Ecofriendly Products. With the aid of chronph alpha, the scale's reliability and validity were determined. The reliability of the scale was 0.876, and the validity of the scale was 0.93.With the use of SPSSIBM23, descriptive, inferential, correlational, and regression analysis were performed. Students at the school show poor attitudes towards the environment. Two steps and the removal of 10 variables later, the prediction model was established, which comprised two of the twelve predictors. The model explained almost 7% of the variance in environmental attitude (R2=0.075 Adjusted R2=0.068) and was statistically significant (F(2, 283) = 11.397, p .001). Gender and age are the main predictors of environmental attitude. Therefore, the gender and age of schoolchildren were rather reliable indicators of their environmental attitudes.

This paper attempts the re-envisioning of Ramayana through a postmodern reading of Amit Majmudar's Sitayana. Postmodernism as a theory opposes the traditional singular narratives and prefers mini-narratives. In this paper, the discussion proceeds with the different approaches brought by Jean-Francois Lyotard and Paul De Man. Along with this, the paper also defines what metanarratives are and how mini-narratives are better preferred to metanarratives. The objective of this paper is to narrate the events leading up to the epic battle of Lanka and the events following it. In contrast to the usual route, the writer has focused on the journey of the characters rather than the formation of the plot. Since the entire novel is based on the display of a form of resistance that is mainly portrayed by the character of Sita, it is titled Sitayana. The narrative follows her journey from Mithila to Ayodhya, to Lanka, back to Ayodhya, and finally the ultimate journey, into the Earth itself. To break the conventional streak of calling Ramayana, the author has chosen the title Sitayana, though it does not restrict itself to her narration and progress. Sitayana is a novel that tells the events of Ramayana, even by eliminating the hero's presence. The three main characters who narrate the majority portion of the story are Sita, followed by Hanuman and finally the anti-hero, Ravana. The term anti-hero is important here because according to theatre actor Tom Hiddleston, "Every villain is a hero in his own mind." It is only the perspective that shifts and postmodernism focus on exactly this. The kaleidoscopic view of the incidents and the jumbled manner in which it is narrated by different characters provides an order among the chaos and thread the events of the story in a sensible manner.

Women die as a result of complications during and following pregnancy and at childbirth. Many of these complications develop during pregnancy and most are preventable or treatable. The use of maternal health care services, specifically antenatal care (ANC) during pregnancy and skilled attendance during childbirth, plays a significant role in reducing maternal deaths. At the heart of the Goals adopted by all United Nations Member States, is a shared blueprint for global partnership to reduce global Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) to less than 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030. India recorded the second highest number of maternal deaths globally (35,000) in 2017 as per UN estimate. Special Bulletin by the Registrar General of India (RGI) shows that MMR now stands at 97 per lakh live births. The major factor of maternal mortality in India is non-accessibility of health care services at an affordable expense. Maternal mortality ratio is an important indicator of the quality of health services in the country. The survival and wellbeing of mothers is not only important in their own right but are also central to solving large broader, economic, social and developmental challenges. The objective of this review study is to assess the present situation of maternal health in Nagaland.

Accumulation of solid waste is another serious problem faced by the world for which huge area of land is required for its disposal. Alternatively, engineers try to utilize these solid waste materials in the civil engineering construction based on its feasibility or suitability on their performance. The main objective this study is to investigate the suitability of solid waste materials such as human hair fibers in the process of soil subgrade stabilization as a reinforcement which can replace conventional commercial fiber materials. The influence of reinforcement parameters i.e. fiber content on Kaolinite clay will observe through a series of laboratory tests such as consistency limit tests, compaction tests and unconfined compression tests. This project concluded that the moisture content of soil without human hair fiber is found to be 18.75%. And the moisture content of soil with human hair fiber is found to be decreased as percentage of human hair increased. The specific gravity of soil without human hair fiber is found to be 2.769. And the specific gravity of soil with human hair fiber is found to be decreased as percentage of human hair increased. The free swell test value of soil without human hair fiber is maximum and it is decreased as percentage of human hair increased in soil. Hence degree of expansion is low and degree of severity is non-critical. The maximum dry density (MDD) in standard proctor test of soil without human hair fiber is found to be 1.534 g/cc, which is increased as percentage of human hair increased. Optimum moisture content (OMC) is found to be 10% in soil without human hair fiber and increased as percentage of human hair increased. From Consistency limits test, it is found that the effect of fiber inclusion on consistency limits were minimal, however it was observed that with the increase of human hair fibers content there was a slight increase in the liquid limit and slight increase in plastic limit thereby increasing the plasticity of soil.
