Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) remains a deeply concerning issue in India, and despite the robust legal framework of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, preventive mechanisms at the grassroots level require strengthening. Schools, being primary institutions for children's development and safety, are uniquely positioned to play a proactive role in preventing CSA. This paper explores the responsibilities and potential contributions of schools under the POCSO Act, with a focus on teacher training, awareness programs, the formulation of child protection policies, and collaboration with legal authorities.

With the rapid growth of cloud computing, ensuring data security and resilience against sophisticated cyber threats has become increasingly critical. Traditional static encryption approaches are often inadequate against adaptive adversaries capable of exploiting predictable patterns. This paper proposes a novel Adaptive AES-Driven Encryption Framework integrated with Moving Target Defense (MTD) mechanisms to dynamically protect data in cloud environments. The framework enhances the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) by introducing dynamic key generation, periodic cryptographic context switching, and intelligent attack surface shifting based on real-time threat assessment. By continuously altering the encryption parameters and resource configurations, the proposed model significantly reduces the attack surface and limits adversary reconnaissance. Experimental evaluations demonstrate substantial improvements in data confidentiality, key unpredictability, and defense robustness without compromising system performance. This work marks a significant step toward autonomous, adaptive, and proactive cloud security solutions.

Logotherapy, a form of existential therapy, focuses on helping individuals find meaning in their lives. It's based on the idea that the primary human motivation is to discover a purpose, even in the face of suffering.People have a fundamental drive to find meaning in their lives, which can manifest in various forms, such as creativity, love, or service to others. Shifting the focus away from the individual's symptoms and problems and toward their interests, values, and goals, helping them to find meaning outside of themselves. The quest to answer "what is the meaning of life?" has been around since the beginning of time. To find meaning in life can be seen as the primary motivation of each person, and the concept of logotherapy is based on that proposition. This article explores Somerset Maugham's timeless novel "The razor's edge" through the lense of victor frankl's logotherapy - the new age therapy of survival.

Medicated herbal kajal is redefining eye care by blending tradition with therapeutic botanicals, offering both beauty and healing in a single stroke. However, most medicated kajal formulations overlook the risk of microbial growth and potential ocular irritation, compromising long-term safety. Inadequate herbal extract standardization further affects its therapeutic reliability. Here, we develop a herbal medicated kajal with optimized extraction, formulation, and stability to enhance therapeutic efficacy and ocular safety. Key herbal ingredients such as Triphala ghrita, Marigold, Gotu kola, Cashew kernel and botanical oils are examined for their anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and soothing properties. Optimized five extraction techniques, including 1) Ayurvedic Sneha Kalpana process for making triphala ghrita, 2) Steam distillation for fennel seed oil, 3) Soxhlet extraction for cashew & marigold essential oils, 4) Decoction method for extracting coleus, and 5) Microwave assisted extraction to enhance bioactive yield. The study also reviews formulation strategies, stability assessments, and safety evaluations, ensuring suitability for ocular application. Findings support the potential of herbal kajal as a safe, effective, and stable alternative to conventional eye cosmetic with added medicinal benefits.

ABSTRACT Background: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) presents a significant global health challenge, contributing to over five million deaths annually worldwide. This study aimed to evaluate antibiotic prescribing patterns and analyze the antimicrobial sensitivity profiles of isolated organisms. Methods:A Prospective observational study was conducted over a six-month period in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and surgical departments. A total of 102 patients were included in the study, based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Daily clinical evaluations were performed to monitor patient prognosis, and antibiotic-prescribed cases were systematically analyzed during ward rounds to identify trends in prescribing patterns. In addition, microbiological data, such as culture reports and antibiotic sensitivity patterns, were collected and analyzed to determine the effectiveness of various antibiotics against different pathogens. Results:Analysis of antibiotic prescribing patterns revealed that cephalosporins were the most frequently prescribed class (31.6%), followed by carbapenems (18.7%) and penicillins (15.5%). Among the patient samples, 43 cultures exhibited positive microbial growth and were subjected to antibiotic sensitivity testing. Escherichia coli was the predominant isolate, accounting for 48.8% of the total. Sensitivity testing showed that Pseudomonas aeruginosa exhibited the highest sensitivity to netilmicin (67%). E. coli isolates were most sensitive to nitrofurantoin (100%), followed by imipenem (95%) and meropenem (95%). Klebsiella pneumoniae showed 100% sensitivity to cefoperazone/sulbactam, cefepime, imipenem, norfloxacin, and ciprofloxacin. Overall, netilmicin (90%) demonstrated the highest sensitivity across all isolates, followed by cefoperazone/sulbactam (87%) and piperacillin/tazobactam (85%). Conclusion:These findings highlight the critical need for ongoing surveillance and the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship programs to promote the rational use of antibiotics and improve clinical outcomes in critical care and surgical settings.
